The hospital leadership's regular executive meeting had been going on for nearly an hour. After discussing all the scheduled topics, Secretary Meng Huaxin took a sip of water and gently set down her teacup.
"Regarding the attack on Mr. Yan last Friday..."
Meng Huaxin took out a document and handed it to Liu Jin beside her, then explained, "The investigation report on the incident from the local police station has been approved by the City Commission for Discipline Inspection."
"The other party is entirely at fault for the whole incident."
"Mr. Yan and our hospital are completely blameless."
After a two-second pause, Meng Huaxin continued slowly, "I have some information to share with you all that has not yet been made public..."
