Chapter 150 - Chapter 149: The Workshop of Tomorrow

Morning. Arthur visited the school workshop.

Students were learning carpentry—young apprentices, eager and uncertain, their hands still learning the feel of wood and steel. The master carpenter, Ren, moved between them, offering corrections, demonstrating techniques.

Another apprentice made the same handle. Different method. Different measurements. Different result.

Arthur walked over. Picked up both handles. Measured them. Different length. Different thickness. Different balance.

Same tool. Completely different parts.

Ren approached. "Something wrong?"

Arthur held up the handles. "These are for the same hammer?"

Ren nodded. "Different hammers, actually. Same model."

Arthur studied them. "They're not the same."

"They're close enough."
