Everyone panted as all of us tried to find a way out while running away from the horrible beings.
Nobody can use magic and what's worse, the horrible beings cannot be killed using any weapons.
Orm tried to attack them using his crossbow but since the arrows are made out of magic, it was a failure.
Alpha tried getting rid of them using his spear and dagger but the weapons just goes right through the bodies of the horrible beings.
After Lion saw that attacking the horrible beings by using weapons are useless, he told everyone to run.
Lion immediately carried me in his arms and led the way, while the rest of the group followed.
Soon, everyone began yelling and cursing as the horrible beings appeared from all sorts of directions, approaching us with malevolent looks on their faces.
We are surrounded!
They are getting closer and closer while the group became like sardines, sticking close to each other with panic in their faces, especially Lion.
Khamsin started to blame everyone for not listening to him while Ghost yelled at everyone to think of a way to escape.
Orm tried to hit the horrible beings using his tail, wounding himself on the process.
Sly tried to transform into his dragon form to no avail while Deus kept cursing Maelsa as he tried to use his whip to get rid of the horrible beings that are trying to pounce on him.
What should we do?
Is this the end?
Lion held me tightly while trying to reassure me that he will keep me safe despite his quivering voice. He nuzzled me on my neck as he kept on whispering to me that he's here and that we are together.
Oh for.

The rest of the pack formed a protection circle around Lion while they began talking about all sorts of memories.
Deus, Bubu and Khamsin crowded around us, muttering all sorts of colorful curses as their bodies shook in fear.
This is ridiculous.
I admit that I'm also afraid but I don't want to die in this kind of situation.
Since everyone thinks it's hopeless, now it's up to me to think of a way out.
Ah..

I can see the horrible beings inching their way towards us while Orm's tail is getting more wounded.

With a huge sigh, I gave Lion an almighty kick using all my strength, making him lose his balance in which I leaped towards the horde and landed in the middle of it and hurriedly struck the ground using the end of my Buddhist staff.
I can hear the group screaming my name, especially Lion who tried to fight his way through the horde in order to reach me.
The pack, in their efforts of trying to reach me, was soon covered in wounds in which I hurriedly closed my eyes and tried to concentrate on activating the Buddhist staff's power.

I should probably copy what I saw on an anime fantasy movie.

I began to dance while waving the Buddhist staff around me.
The sacred dance of the monks.
The sound of the metal rings on the top of my Buddhist staff echoed throughout the area as everyone, including the horrible beings, are staring at me, fascinated on what I am doing.
Instead of reciting the mantra, I sang it while continuing to dance.
Soon, everyone is engrossed while watching my performance that they didn't notice that the bodies of the horrible beings began to fade away.
Then in a finishing move, I slammed the end of the Buddhist staff on the ground, striking it three times while invoking a mantra.
With a shockwave of light from the Buddhist staff, it dispelled the horde.
Sounds of horrible shrieks sounded loudly then slowly faded away as the presence of the horde disappeared.
Finally.
It's over.
The amplification that Leon did on my Buddhist staff turned out to be potent that not only the horrible beings disappeared but the eerie feeling around the place somehow lifted up, as if the area was cleansed from the bad energy that engulfed it.
The place looks the same but somehow feels different, somewhat lighter.
Then my legs started to shake in which I lost my balance and nearly fell on the floor when Lion instantly caught me with his arms.
Hey! He can now use magic!
He simply looked at me with tears in his eyes then nuzzled me all over my face and neck.
He took his time nuzzling me while I can hear the others discussing about something.
Then with gentleness, he held my face with his hands and kissed me softly.
He then carried me in his arms, continuing to kiss me when suddenly, we heard Bubu's screams of delight in which she hurriedly told us that she saw all sorts of treasure in the other room.
To my surprise, nobody moved except her, especially Lion who started to lick me on my neck despite me telling him what Bubu said.
I can feel him grin while he continued to lick my neck, telling me in a low voice that his treasure is right here and he's holding it.
Oh, that's sweet but the others are watching us!
To my embarrassment, I can hear Bubu's laughter in which she told the others that if they wanted privacy with me, she will just go to the other room and wait for us to finish.
That Bubu!

After several embraces, nuzzles and small kisses from the rest of the pack, we went to the other room to see what Bubu was screaming about.
What I saw is something that can only be dreamed about.
Mountainous piles of all sorts of treasures are scattered all over the floor that made me think that it will take us several days to place it inside our magic bags.
Despite the presence of the treasures before us, the pack continued to snuggle towards me as they kept on being needy for my attention.
I like the attention but it's starting to get annoying.
I do understand that they needed comfort because of what I did earlier.
Also, we nearly got killed.
With a sigh, I smiled at them while whispering all sorts of comforting words towards them, singing and caressing their faces until they finally looked soothed.
Then I grinned at them and pointed towards Bubu, who seemed to be having the time of her life, jumping and diving into the piles of treasure and grabbing whatever caught her eye.
With a yell, the pack immediately went towards the treasures and started to place a lot of it inside their magic bags.
After watching them for a while, Deus began shaking his head while muttering all sorts of words like ridiculous, then chuckled as he also joined them in getting the treasures.
Khamsin sat down beside me and asked me why I didn't join them.
With a smile, I told him that I have no need of it.
He looked surprised at my words though he didn't say anything but continued to look at me with interest in his eyes.
After several moments of him staring at me of which I'm starting to get uncomfortable, he stood up and gave me a nod then joined the rest of the group in getting the treasures.

Soon, I got bored watching them. Silently, I stood up then went outside the room.
I'm confident that the place is safe so I decided to explore the rest of the rooms.
I should also try to find a way out of here.
A lot of the rooms that I explored are empty and some have stuff who looked too damaged.
There's nothing to loot here. Also, I didn't see any exit.
I finally reached the last room where I saw several huge sacks that seemed too heavy for me to carry.
All of it except one were tied up tightly in which I took a look at the sack that was not tied up and saw what seems to be...
Seeds!
The rest of the sacks must be filled with seeds also.
Now I can introduce cultivation farming to them but I'm not sure what kind of seeds these are so I should plant some samples first.
While I was busy examining the seeds, I heard the sound of footsteps behind me. When I glanced around, to my relief, it was Sly.
He looked at me curiously while telling me that I should not roam around alone as it could be dangerous.
He's right.
I was too careless.
I apologized to him while he simply embraced me, telling me that there's no need for any apologies as he was just worried about me when he noticed my absence in the treasure room.

A dragon got distracted despite being surrounded by treasures?
My thoughts must be obvious as he chuckled seeing the look on my face. His embrace began to get tighter as he reminded me all the things he said to me a long time ago.

He pouted as he mumbled something about me forgetting.

That's the first time I saw him sulking at me!
Despite my efforts on trying to stay serious, I couldn't stop laughing at him.
He's so adorable!
I told him to sit down on the ground which he did though he refused to look at me.
Heh.
So that's how it is, huh?
I softly caressed his hair as I nuzzled his neck, noticing that his face is turning red.
Hmmm...
Slowly, I gave him little kisses on his neck while moving towards his ear. I whispered into his ear, telling him that I didn't forget at all and told him that I cherished him too.
He seemed to stop breathing while I continued to tell him the words that he longed to hear for a long time.
Yes, it's time to tell him what I feel about him too.
I told him that I'm thankful that he's been patient and loving me unconditionally.
With tears in my eyes, I told him that I am scared of losing him too. I admit that it is selfish, definitely selfish of me to want him, everything of him despite me not able to give my whole self to him.
I started to sob as I asked him why he continued to dedicate himself to me when he can....
My words were cut short when Sly hungrily kissed me.
Soon, we began panting while continuing to kiss each other hungrily then Sly pulled back and whispered into my ear, gently scolding me that I should stop having thoughts like that as he already pledged himself to me. Nothing will change his mind and no one can change his mind, not even me. He will always be with me unless I let him go.
After a pause, he told me that even if I let him go, he would still continue to follow me everywhere no matter where I go as I am his heart and I am the source of his life.
So he will be my stalker if I let him go?
Sly nuzzled my neck as he told me that unlike his kind, he is contented to have me as his only mate and that no one can replace me.
And no, he doesn't care if he is my secondary mate.
And yes, he doesn't mind that I have other secondary mates also.
And no, he definitely doesn't want to have another mate.
Now I felt ridiculous of feeling insecure despite being with him for a long time.
Silly me.
Sly laughed at the ridiculousness of it and admitted that maybe I'm feeling insecure is because we haven't spent time being alone with each other lately.
He stood up and told me to wait then went out of the room.
After a while, he came back while holding one of his magic bags.
He placed his bag on the floor and sat down as he told me that the rest of the group are still busy with the treasures and will continue on being busy as they haven't even took half of it.
Getting a small part of the treasure will have us not doing any work for centuries.
But it will be boring though just sitting around without doing anything.
Ooohh! We can travel anywhere without worrying about the expenses!
Something seems to be kicking my brain in which I am reminded again about Lion's unfortunate contract. And Alpha too.

We had a lovely alone time.
Sly told me all sorts of stories while embracing me. I enjoyed listening to him as all of his stories are fascinating to me.
After a while, he became silent then gently positioned me facing him.
We are currently sitting on his cloak that he placed on the floor and upon him trying to position me facing him, I decided to sit on his lap instead as it will be easier for me to look into his face.
After I positioned myself on his lap comfortably, he held me tight as he gave me kisses all over my face. I giggled while he simply smiled though he still continued to give me kisses.
He whispered that he's feeling so happy right now and asked me to repeat what I said to him earlier.

Sly laughed and told me that there was something I said to him earlier, something that I whispered into his ear.
He grinned at me while waiting for me to say something.
Of course I know what he meant but I'm thinking how to make it sound more special...

He started to nudge me gently when I held his face with my hands then told him that I cherished him and called him my Ember.
His voice quivered when he asked me if I just gave him another name.
I nodded while smiling at him though I admitted to him that I love saying his original name even more but whatever name he would prefer, I will call him that.
He kept on smiling while embracing me, then told me that he's so happy right now that he wants to make sure that he isn't dreaming at all.
Gently, he lay me down on his cloak and knelt beside me as he asked permission if he can mark me right now.
As much as I wanted it, my clothes are a bit revealing right now.

To his surprise, I sat up and removed my top, telling him to mark me all over my back.
I can hear him groaning while he marked me all over my back, complaining that he's trying not to lose control as he began to lick me on my back.
He gave a huge sigh then mumbled something like the others are still busy in which he faced me towards him and kissed me passionately.
One of his arms held me tight towards him while his other hand touched me all over my body.
While he licked me on my neck, he asked me to say the name that I gave him.
As he licked my shoulders, I moaned as I called him my Ember, in which I can feel him smiling upon hearing it.

I thought that the pack would be waiting for us as we took quite a while with our alone time.
No, nothing happened as Lion didn't give Sly his permission yet.
But yeah, we had a heavy make out session.
And skin to skin contact.
Without removing our lower clothes of course, as we are already at the edge of losing control.
Thinking about it makes me blush.
As for Sly, his cheerfulness is on another level.
He told me to call him by his other name when we are alone as hearing me say it, will make him want to.....

I tried to fan myself as my body feels more hotter than before.
Is it me or does the place seems a bit hotter?
I glanced at Sly and saw that he must be thinking the same thing as he suddenly looked alert while checking our surroundings.
The rest of the group are still preoccupied with getting the treasures that suspiciously, didn't seem to decrease in number.
In fact, it looked like it's increasing in number instead.
Sly stood up and hurriedly went outside the treasure room while I held my Buddhist staff tightly on my hands.
I don't feel anything eerie at all though I felt that there's something weird going on.
I called Lion in which he didn't answer me at all. He just kept on getting more treasures as if he needs all of them.
That's suspicious as whenever I call him, he would instantly stop whatever he is doing at the moment and be by my side immediately.
As for the others, they seemed obsessed on what they are doing too that they didn't answer me calling them.
This is NOT normal.
It's a trap.
We're not safe yet!
I called Sly in a panic in which thankfully, he hurriedly went back to my side and I told him what happened.
He immediately carried me in his arms as he approached them.
When he saw their eyes, he exclaimed that they seemed to be under a spell.
Oh, great.
I don't know how to nullify magic!
And to make it worse, Bubu who should be able to nullify spells is under the spell too.
This is ridiculous!
While we were busy trying to come up with some sort of a plan, Sly and I started to sweat in buckets, which made me comment that the room seems like it's trying to cook us.
