I can hear the sounds of honking.
The sound of car horns blaring, people shouting, people cursing each other with colorful words, sounds of tires screeching and several sounds of footsteps near me.
I slowly opened my eyes and saw myself sitting on a bench in the middle of the park that I used to visit a lot back then....

Glancing around, I noticed that everything seems familiar but at the same time, a lot of changes that somehow stood out that seemed to be telling me that a huge amount of time has passed by.
I noticed a couple approaching me, asking me if I was okay as I seemed a bit pale.
The woman's appearance seemed much more paler than me as she looks as if she has limited time to live.
She told me that her husband is a doctor and that he can help me with anything as she would also help me whatever I need.
When I glanced down towards my body, I noticed that I was wearing the same clothes that I was wore when I got isekaid but I'm barefoot and I get the feeling that I must have looked haggard.
I accepted the couple's offer since I have no choice and I don't know where to go.

They invited me to their apartment in which the woman pulled me inside, happily chattering all sorts of stuff as she handed me all sorts of clothing, towels and some hygiene essentials.

I slowly removed my clothes while looking in the mirror in which I saw my mating mark with Lion.

I raised one of my legs in which I can see the secondary mating mark i have with Sly on my ankle.
My chest starts to hurt and I started to cry but no tears came out of my eyes.

I kept grasping my chest as I panted hard, my body shaking with the thought that I might never see him again.

I can't fix my hair.
No matter how much I combed it, it remained tangled. I remembered how Lion loves to comb and braid my hair in which I bit my lip, trying to keep myself from crying.
I saw a pair of scissors in which I decided to cut my hair.

My hair is shorter now.
From waist length, now it is only up to my shoulders.
I felt lighter despite the fact that I'm quite sad in seeing pieces of my hair inside the trash.
Everyone loves my hair in which it resulted into a brawl sometimes as they have different ways how to decorate my hair.
I chuckled as I remembered how Puma always wins everytime as she threatened Lion in making me drink a potion that will suppress my urges.
I missed Puma. I missed everyone.
I stood back as I stared myself in the mirror.
I'm wearing a t-shirt that seems a bit tight around the chest and a pair of denim jeans that made me hold my breath when I tried to wear it.
Still, I looked quite decent. But even though I hated wearing provocative clothing, I was used to it as Lion isn't controlling on what I wear. Instead, he encourages me to wear what I want as long as I am comfortable with it.
Also there was no problem wearing anything as the pack acted like everything was normal as it was normal in that world to wear less clothing unless you are in a cold environment.
It's uncomfortable.
The dresses I wore there made me feel free and I can move around as much as I want.
Speaking of move around, I remembered the time when Lion and I were playing around the castle.
He made me ride on his back in which he tried to run everywhere despite me saying that I might fall down.
He had a mischievous look in his eyes as he grinned, in which he tried to fly around instead of running.
I held onto his neck as I started to have fun and laughed like there was no tomorrow.
Now I can't have fun like that anymore.

The woman's name is Asta and her husband is Ian.
She told me that they are going to move in the next few days at a village in the mountains since she is getting too sick.
Her husband looked at her with sad eyes in which I felt a pang in my heart.
Their time together is limited.
I told them to enjoy their life together as life itself is cruel in which unexpected things happen in the most unexpected way.
Both of them nodded sadly as Asta placed her head on Ian's chest.
Ian wrapped his arms around Asta as she looks like she is about to cry.
I continued to eat as Asta had cooked plenty of food for Ian and me as she told me that eating makes her nauseous.
The food that Asta cooked is quite delicious but somehow, it feels uncomfortable. I was used to eating fruits and lighter meat that eating rice and noodles gave me a bit of upset stomach as it feels quite heavy in my stomach.
But still I have to finish eating it as the couple has been too kind to me.
Speaking of cooking, I remembered Ghost's cooking in which I realized that he has a talent in cooking.
He knows a lot when it comes to ingredients in which I managed to copy some recipes from this world.
I should probably teach him some recipes as soon as I get ba.....
Oh.
I can't get back anymore.
Asta timidly asked me what's wrong as tears started to fall on my cheeks.
I told her that I'm lost and I can't find my way home.
