While Lion and I are embracing, I felt something touching my leg under the water.
I glanced around as I saw numerous pieces of the monster's body starting to float on the surface, with a huge piece of its ugly face that showed several rows of teeth.
I screamed as I tried to climb on Lion's back, nearly submerging his entire body underneath the water.
Lion tried to hold me, but due to my panic, continued to climb on his neck as I saw that a severed piece of the monster's eye is what touched my leg.
More and more pieces of the monster's face began to float, making me like a scared cat trying to climb to its owner's head as I can see several pieces of the monster's eyes starting to float near us.
I didn't see the monster's face while I was on the ship since all I could see is the monster's head on my location.
Now i can see the monster's face CLEARLY.
And in several pieces too.
Poor Lion as I continued to panic, submerging his face too as he frantically tried to catch me while I kept climbing on his head, holding on to his hair for dear life.
Then a light surrounded him as he used magic to float us up towards the ship's deck as he gently pulled me down from his head, laughing as I held on to his neck, refusing to go down.
It took him a bit of time speaking words of comfort to me before I finally let go of him.
He embraced me tightly as I was panting, nuzzling my neck as he comforted me while I slowly tried to keep myself calm down.
That was embarrassing.
Lion gave me an adoring smile as he continued to held me towards his chest while looking into my eyes.

I felt my face turn red as he kept looking at me while I averted my eyes.
Someone called Lion and we glanced towards the voice, seeing Sly in which both of us remembered on checking the condition of our other companions.
We held hands as we went towards the room where Orm, Alpha, Bahar and Sly, who fainted after helping carrying everyone, are lying on a rug.
Sly and Lion began talking about something as I went outside the room to look at the island that emerged from the sea.
As I was about to walk outside the door, I saw Ghost's telescope in which I picked up and held it while going towards the deck.
Using the telescope, I saw the island made entirely out of rock in which I saw a huge opening at the side that seems to be a cave of some sort.
The previous island of the first shard was simply a plain in which we can easily see the altar with the floating shard in it.
It seems we had to go inside the cave to get the second shard.

Sly decided to stay behind much to his regret as no one else is watching the others who fainted.
I tried to bring my rocket lightning launcher in which Lion made me leave behind as he assured me that he will protect me from any harm.
Still, I insisted that he should drink several potions to replenish his energy though.
He gave me a certain knowing look while a mischievous smile began to form on his lips as he started to consume the potions.

Is he seriously thinking about that in times like this?!!
Though I won't mind if we did it AFTER getting the shard.

Lion carried me in his arms as he flew towards the opening of the cave.
He kept on nipping my neck as we landed on the cave.

I slowly pushed him away as I was amazed at seeing the enormous interior of the cave as it wasn't visible from outside.
Lion began to pull me towards him, as he is starting to pant.
Seeing his eyes looking at me with burning desire, I gave in but not before insisting that I bathe myself first since I felt sticky from submerging in the sea water earlier.
Lion immediately made some sort of pool of water on the ground that looked like a small bathtub made out of rocks.
How cute.
He really is desperate as we haven't had intercourse for quite some time.
Desperate enough that he tore off my clothes as he hurriedly carried me towards the water.

His cloak wrapped around us as a magical flame of fire is floating near us, keeping us warm.

We explored the cave in which it turned out to be massive below the surface.
Good thing Lion made me some decent clothes out of magic as the cave is starting to get pretty cold.
I involuntarily shivered in which Lion carried me in his arms and I felt warmth as his arms began to emit some sort of magic that kept me from shivering from the cold.
He carried me while trying to look for the altar as I began to have random thoughts.
A nagging feeling seemed to poke me as I began to recall everything I learn about Charybdis.
Lion halted as he told me that he saw the altar.
He slowly approached it and placed me on the ground, kissing me softly before giving me the magic stone.
A thought suddenly came to me as I started to recall something that I forgot earlier.
Charybdis seems to have a partner in the myths.
I haven't seen his partner as they only destroyed Charybdis earlier.

Lion looked curiously at me as I didn't approach the altar immediately. Instead I ran back towards him, holding him in a panic while I told him that Charybdis had a partner in which we didn't see yet.
While I was talking to Lion, I caught a glimpse of a huge shadow behind him.
We heard several shrill screeches as the monster came into view with loud footsteps on the ground.
