Season 2 - Chapter 19: The Joke of Time and Erisa's Vanity
The white moon was shaking under the weight of Volt's energy. Erisa imagined that the burning of Volt's soul and the blow of the sword to his back would end the "white devil". But he didn't know that he was playing with a creature for whom the concept of "death" was but a short-lived nap.

Volt put his hands on the crystal. A searing black beam went from the Vault into the crystal and saved Vanessa's soul. Volt's body was turning to ash, and Erisa stabbed her dark sword in his back.
Erisa: "It's over! The King of Monsters is dead! Now the universe belongs to me!"

When Volt's body turned to ashes, instead of disappearing, time stopped. The universe went silent for a second. From within the ashes, came a heavy, echoing sound that made Erisa take a step back in fear.
Volt (his voice everywhere): "Erisa... what do you think death is? Do you think you can erase me by destroying this body of flesh and blood?"
At that moment, nine golden and black circles formed around the ashes.
1. Physical Immortality: Volt's body regenerated in an instant.
2. Spiritual Immortality: Volt's soul, burnt out, glowed and grew larger.

Complete awakening
Volt reappeared in the moonlight, but this time without any injuries. Erisa's dark sword was inside her hands and smashed it like dry wood.
