Leon wasn't even surprised.
Much like the moment when he had been asked whether or not he wanted to proceed to the second assessment immediately, the system simply did not allow him to choose "no."

Once something appeared in front of him as a true path forward, he was forced to walk it.
The fact that it activated even in a situation like this was… interesting.
It meant that in the future, there would likely be many more moments where Leon would have no option but to move forward, no matter how dangerous or uncertain the outcome was.
It didn't bother him. If anything, it was good to know early.
Still, Leon didn't rush into it right away. He casually cast the panel aside.
Unlike before, there was no time limit forcing him to make an immediate decision. The gate wasn't going anywhere.
