Chapter 2 - The Saga of Jamil: From Exile to Victory

Following the message, Jamil assembled an army of 5,000 men, most of whom were volunteers, and led them toward the border. Along the way, the soldiers stopped to rest near a deep well. They cried out, "O Jamil, will you give us a little water here? For we are surely dying of thirst."

Jamil called upon their leader, saying, "Come, Rajab! Go down and bring us of these riches, that our thirst may be quenched."

Rajab took off his cloak and descended with slow, cautious steps. There, he found 50 liters of water. Suddenly, from above, he heard the sound of horses and camels and the voices of people speaking an incomprehensible tongue. He climbed back up to inform Jamil of what he had heard, only to find that the two armies had already met.

Everyone stood ready, and the battle commenced. One-fifth of the army perished, many grew weary, and terror gripped the majority. Jamil shouted:

"I am Jamil, the son of [So-and-so]! I am your protector! Why have you become afraid? Bear witness that this victory is mine!"

He reorganized the ranks, mounted his horse, Ja'la'al, and cried, "Woe to you if you flee!"

At that moment, the ruler of the state of Takmah, a man named Jahbalbaj, stepped forward and said:

"Why do I see mice trembling in fear of a lion? Are we the ignorant ones, or is it you who call your leader a coward? Know that if you die today, there is no savior for you."

Jamil replied:

"You—you fly! No one asked you for your attributes. Listen to the words of your slayer, and know that you are surely among the losers."

The battle erupted once more. Moments later, Jahbalbaj was slain. A cry rose from both armies: "Jahbalbaj is killed! Jahbalbaj is killed!" Jamil took the fallen ruler's head and entered the state of Takmah, declaring:

"Did I not tell you that victory is our ally? Here you are, the defeated."

بعد الرسالة جمع جميل جيشا قدر ب5000 شخص اكثرهم متطوعين ثم قادهم الى الحدود , في
