Baryon was just staring at the lady who introduced herself as Aphrodite, and in all honesty she looked like a mature woman who had already bore children a few times but he didn't say that out and he tried to ignore the feelings of lust building up inside him, "oh dear, are you okay?" said Aphrodite, Baryon only managed to answer because it seemed he was beginning to adapt to Aphrodite's presence, "y-yeah I'm fine... thanks for asking", while Baryon was observing Aphrodite she was also doing the same, his hair had a subtle sheen to it that made it reflect the sunlight, 'he looks young, probably from one of the new gods, but he doesn't feel like a god more like a demi god, and I feel a lot of danger from him, like my entire instincts are telling me to run far away from him, and he doesn't even know what he's doing,' Aphrodite then smiled and said "that's good, but what are you doing out here, the people are all inside?" Baryon smiled sheepishly and answered "I'm actually here with someone else, we came outside to test my affinity," Aphrodite had a look on her face that said she understood, but just as she was about to say something Lucien came back with an orb in his hand, the orb looked lackluster at first glance but if one focused their eyes on it they could see a pale green aura around it, Lucien smiled and said as he approached "it took a while to find it but here it is, I also found a few other things, but I'll show you later but now let's-" Lucien paused mid speech as he stared at the person standing beside Baryon and thought,'this guy has strange luck', Lucifer then walked towards the lady, stretched out his hand and said, "hello there, my name is Lucien Morningstar, pleased to make your acquaintance", all while speaking he had a small smile on his face, Aphrodite replied in a curious and slightly cold voice,"other people would be swooning and kissing my feet by now, with the exception of a few gods...but you and your friend here didn't even flinch, who are you?" Lucien smiled almost mocking her, "that's not necessary to know yet," he then grabbed Baryon and in a swirl of darkness they disappeared.
Aphrodite stood stunned for a few seconds before regaining her composure but under her smile now lay a simmering fury, fury that stemmed from her disdain of demi-gods, she spun around and walked away but online time would tell if her fury would Elsewhere
In the shadows of a forest that grew behind the temple, a swirl of shadows and darkness appeared and opened to reveal Lucien and Baryon, Baryon was slightly confused and in awe of what he had witnessed, from his memory of his old world he knew that Aphrodite was a primordial goddess, and the fact that Lucien talked back at her was a feat that not many could achieve, "why did it seem that you and Aphrodite have bad blood?" asked Baryon in curiosity, to which Lucien replied with a frustrated look on his face, "we do have bad blood, apparently we were supposed to be betrothed to each other, but being the prideful god she is rejected it," then his voice took on a furious edge and his eyes blazed with unconcealed fury, "even after that she still refuses me to have anything to do with other girls," then Lucien took deep breaths to calm himself and put on a smiling face and said, "let's get to the reason we came outside," he brought forward the orb and asked Baryon to place his hand on it, as Baryon placed his hand on the orb it glowed with a blue, red, and gold hue and just as he was about to take off his hand it glowed again with an even brighter glow, but what puzzled both boys was that the color of the glow was.... nothing, absolutely no color was shown as the glow died out leaving both boys with unanswered questions.dissolve or escalate into something else.
