Nocturne quivers under the storm. Rain hammers the streets, neon reflecting off puddles like fractured fire. Every shadow is alive. Every sound could be death.
Kael Voss moves like a ghost through the rooftops, Selene Voss at his side. Iris Han monitors the city, guiding them through chaos. But tonight, the hunter is about to become the hunted.
VIKTOR HALE STRIKES
From above, Viktor Hale observes. Cybernetic enhancements glint beneath the neon rain. His patience has paid off.
Drones sweep the streets, funneling Kael into narrow alleys.
Explosives are planted along rooftops, ready to collapse paths behind him.
Viktor's cybernetic reflexes allow him to anticipate Kael's moves before they happen.
Viktor's voice crackles over a comm:
"Predictable… Wraith. Let's see how long you survive tonight."
Kael tightens his grip on his weapons.
"Then I'll make him guess wrong."
THE AMBUSH
Kael and Selene enter a rooftop maze, unaware of hidden explosives and ambush points.
Viktor emerges, striking with lightning speed, forcing Kael into a brutal fight.
Gun-fu, knife strikes, and acrobatics collide with rain-soaked metal and flickering neon.
Selene intervenes, taking down operatives and disabling drones with precision.
Iris warns:
"They've set traps across the entire district! You need to move fast!"
Kael counters with brutal efficiency, using environmental hazards—pipes, loose scaffolding, shattered billboards—to slow Viktor and control the battlefield.
TACTICAL MANEUVERING
Viktor adapts quickly, forcing Kael and Selene to split paths.
Kael leads Viktor through an abandoned subway line, narrow and deadly.
Selene hacks a nearby control tower, shutting down surveillance and opening escape routes for civilians trapped nearby.
Sparks fly as Viktor smashes through obstacles, relentless in his pursuit.
Kael mutters through clenched teeth:
"He's evolving… faster than before."
Iris responds:
"You're not alone. Use the city… use the shadows."
ENDING NOTE
Kael stands atop a collapsed subway platform, drenched, breathing heavily. Viktor pauses across the gap, watching, calculating.
Selene appears beside Kael, eyes sharp:
"We can't fight him forever… we need a plan."
Kael's voice is cold, resolute:
"Then we make the next move count. Every shadow… every ghost… every strike."
Above, The Eclipse Leader watches silently, orchestrating the chaos.
The city trembles. The hunter becomes the hunted.
