Chapter 328 - Chapter 329: Fierce Battle

"Ahhh!!!" Levi let out a rare roar, his dual blades swinging so fast that only afterimages could be seen. The Beast Titan also threw its head back and released a chilling, terrifying howl.

Large amounts of blood sprayed wildly from the Beast Titan's nape as if it cost nothing.

"Wait! Stop! Cut it out! Stop!" Zeke finally couldn't hold back anymore and took the initiative to reveal his head. He was truly scared—Levi looked like he had completely lost control. If he didn't say something now, he might really get chopped up like a suckling pig.

Of course, to keep up appearances, Zeke only exposed half his head. Originally hidden beneath the thick fur on the Beast Titan's nape, it wasn't noticeable. But now that Levi had hacked the nape, the fur was gone, and Zeke's head was dyed red by the scalding Titan blood. From even a slight distance, it was impossible to notice his head.

"Levi! Don't you think you're overdoing it? We never agreed to have this many people hacking at me!" Zeke felt a rare sense of grievance and frustration. Everything had been agreed upon so nicely before—so why were they suddenly adding extra scenes now?

But the response he got was two brand-new blades. The previous two had already been dulled.

"Ah!!!"

"Commander Magath! The Beast Titan!" One of Magath's subordinates pointed in shock toward the distant Beast Titan. A massive burst of orange flames erupted from its nape, and by the end, the Beast Titan couldn't even let out a wail.

Magath instinctively clenched his fist. The situation on-site had already begun to spiral out of control. He grabbed the communications soldier beside him and shouted,

"Where is the Guard Division? And the city defense forces? Why haven't they arrived for support yet!?"

The communications soldier looked frightened by Magath's fury and stammered,

"C-Commander Magath, the Guard Division said they were attacked by the Colossal Titan and suffered heavy casualties. As for the city defense forces, we can't contact them at all. Just now, we even lost communication with the military port..."

"What??" Magath loosened his grip. The situation could no longer be described as out of control—it had completely deteriorated. A Colossal Titan attack, loss of contact with the city defense forces, and the military port—any fool could see this was a premeditated plan.

Willy had already been escorted away by soldiers. Now, Magath was the highest-ranking commander left on-site. Marley's fate rested entirely on his shoulders, and he had to make a decision immediately.

...

"Roar!" The Fusion Titan raised its two front hooves and slammed them down, but the Fate Titan, holding a two-handed greatsword, easily sidestepped the attack.

With a thought from Yago, the ground was once again covered in crystalline hardening. Sharp hardened spikes erupted all at once, surging toward the Fusion Titan like a tidal wave.

However, most of these spikes were blocked by the Fusion Titan's absurdly tough defense. A few managed to draw a tiny amount of blood, but they couldn't deal any real damage. Still, the dense forest of spikes temporarily restricted the Fusion Titan's massive body.

But Yago had already achieved his goal. The spikes were merely meant to draw the Fusion Titan's attention, while the Fate Titan had already rushed to its side, lifting the greatsword and preparing to strike.

At that moment, a sharp screech came from the sky. The Fate Titan instinctively looked up, and a massive fleshy wing filled its vision.

In that brief moment of distraction, the Airwing Titan seized the opportunity to launch a sneak attack. Its sharp claws tore through the bone armor on the Fate Titan's face.

Instantly, the Fate Titan's blade-like teeth and unprecedented crimson eyes were revealed. Rather than ruining its appearance, it added a wild and savage aura to it.

After landing the hit, the Airwing Titan quickly tried to retreat and prepare for another strike. But Yago wasn't someone who would just stand there and take a beating. You scratched my face and think you can just run?

The Fate Titan released the greatsword and slightly raised its arms. Two clusters of white light immediately began to condense and extend in its hands.

Soon, two extremely sharp javelins formed in its grasp. Muscles bulging, the Fate Titan let out a powerful roar through its fanged mouth, then twisted its arms and hurled the javelins with full force.

The javelins tore through the air, producing a piercing screech. The Airwing Titan never imagined the Fate Titan would react so quickly. By the time it noticed the javelins, it was already too late—two sharp spears pierced straight through its body with a wet thud.

The immense momentum even carried its body downward like a falling meteor.

The Airwing Titan cried out in agony as it was pinned to the ground by the two javelins.

After dealing with the Airwing Titan, the Fate Titan turned around and picked up the greatsword again. At that moment, two Silver-Split Titan fragments had already charged in with spikes extended.

"Get lost!" Yago growled impatiently from within the nape. With a single swing, he cleaved one fragment in half.

Facing the other fragment, the Fate Titan showed no fear. Releasing one hand, its fingertips were coated in a layer of transparent hardening.

Rip!

With a full-force tear, the Silver-Split Titan fragment's entire arm was ripped off, silver fluid gushing from the wound. Just as it finished dealing with it, the Fusion Titan shattered the surrounding hardened spikes, stomped the ground, and charged once more.

Ebson narrowed his eyes as he observed the Titan battle within the venue. Among them, Yago's Fate Titan undoubtedly drew his attention the most.

But contrary to his expectations, the power within Yago's Fate Titan shocked him. Ebson was sharp—he could tell at a glance that more than one kind of power existed within it.

At the very least, from what he could see, the Fate Titan possessed the powers of the War Hammer Titan, the Armored Titan, and even the Jaw Titan.

What did this mean? A possibility suddenly surfaced in Ebson's mind. But as soon as he grasped it, he froze.

"No… Could it be… Norman, were you telling the truth? That child is the real key? But how is this possible? It can't be!"

Ebson clutched his head in a daze. Strange memories surged into his mind again, causing splitting pain. Suddenly, he threw his head back and roared:

"Damn it! You liar! How could a world like this exist?! Where did you come from, Norman!!"

A bloody red completely filled Ebson's eyes.
