Watching helplessly as all four of its split bodies were destroyed, the Silver-Split Titan's main body remained as steady as ever. It stopped moving and slowly raised one hand.
Ripples began to spread across the Silver-Split Titan's body once again.
"This thing? It can still reproduce? What the hell—how is it this persistent?" Yago noticed the abnormality and couldn't help but complain.
No matter how many Silver-Split Titans came, Yago wouldn't fear them. But if this thing could keep splitting endlessly, then even if he wasn't afraid, he'd be annoyed to death.
However, Yago was clearly overthinking it. The Silver-Split Titan wasn't that outrageous. Once the ripples on its body subsided, it only split into two additional bodies.
But Yago didn't have time to think about that now, because a heavy hammer had already smashed toward the Fate Titan's chest.
The Fusion Titan charged like a mad heavy cavalry unit—anything in its path would be crushed, even the thick earth trembling beneath its iron advance.
The massive hammer formed from part of the Fortress Titan's body slammed into the Fate Titan's chest—bang! The gray-white bone armor instantly cracked, forming countless spiderweb-like fractures.
"You've got to be kidding me, Reiner. Wasn't the Armored Titan supposed to be Marley's shield? This unreliable?"
That's right—the gray-white bone armor covering the Fate Titan's body came from the enhanced power of the Armored Titan. Deep within Yago's consciousness, among the swirling lights, an additional brown glow had appeared. But even the Armored Titan's defense couldn't withstand the terrifying momentum of the Fusion Titan's charge.
The heavy hammer pushed against the Fate Titan's body as it continued forward. Yago controlled the Fate Titan, driving both feet deep into the ground, but even that couldn't stop the overwhelming force.
Mud and debris flew everywhere as the ground was plowed into two deep, wide trenches by the Fate Titan's dragged feet—but the Fusion Titan still showed no intention of stopping.
"Are you done yet?!" Being pushed nonstop, Yago finally snapped. The Fate Titan suddenly raised its head, crimson light blazing painfully bright in its eyes, a deep, furious roar rumbling beneath its mask.
A sudden change erupted—like a lake freezing in an instant, layers upon layers of crystalline hardened structures rapidly spread outward from the Fate Titan.
Crack! Crack! Crack! Thick hardened spikes burst violently from the ground.
Slash! Crack! The heavy armor formed from the Fortress Titan's body was incredibly tough. Many hardened spikes shattered instantly upon collision, some even snapping outright.
But no matter how strong the Fusion Titan was, its strength would eventually decline—while the Fate Titan's hardened spikes only continued to multiply, growing larger and more numerous!
Splat! Splat! Countless hardened spikes surged forward like a tidal wave.
Quantity leads to qualitative change. Eventually, one hardened spike broke through all defenses—splat! It pierced into the Fusion Titan's body. The Fusion Titan lost its forward momentum, and the Fate Titan seized the opportunity to break free.
Endure for a moment and the storm passes—step back and the anger only grows. Ignoring the unrepaired bone armor and wounds on his chest, Yago raised his hand. White light gathered, forming a massive ten-meter-tall hardened greatsword in his grasp. He was going to chop that damn Fusion Titan's head off.
Willy watched the battlefield, where countless hardened spikes from the Fate Titan nearly covered the center of the venue, his heart filled with shock. For some reason, he seemed to see the shadow of the Tybur family's War Hammer Titan within the Fate Titan.
But now wasn't the time for Willy to dwell on that. A Thunder Spear exploded less than fifty meters away, instantly killing several Marleyan soldiers and injuring over a dozen more, their cries of agony echoing.
"Mr. Tybur! Commander Magath! Those flying soldiers are too difficult to deal with. For your safety, please retreat temporarily!" a Marleyan officer reported in panic.
Magath stared at the battle of Titans within the venue, then glanced at Willy, who was clearly shaken by the Thunder Spear's destructive power. After a moment, he nodded heavily and ordered,
"Take Mr. Tybur to a safe location. As the commander, I will not retreat a single step!"
"Yes, sir!"
Willy struggled, shouting, "Magath! You can't do this! The Tybur family does not fear death! Let go of me! I command you—release me!"
On the rooftops, most Marleyan soldiers were sweating heavily, their fingers constantly pulling triggers without pause, aiming at the Paradis soldiers soaring through the air with Vertical Maneuvering Equipment—but the results were minimal.
"12!" Bang!
"13!" Bang!
...
"20!" Bang!
After firing the fourth row of bullets, each shot precisely taking down an enemy, Sasha quickly dropped prone on a rooftop to conceal herself. Calmly, she pulled out another row of bullets from her pouch and loaded them into the chamber.
From another small pocket, she took out the dried fruit Nicolo had given her. Carefully raising her head to observe the situation, Sasha soon noticed something unusual.
Among the Marleyan soldiers on the rooftops, there was one soldier holding a rifle with a scope—just like hers. And every time that soldier pulled the trigger, a Paradis soldier would scream and fall from the sky.
Sasha immediately realized—this was a sniper, just like her.
She couldn't afford even a second of delay. One second could mean a comrade losing their life. Without hesitation, Sasha stood up and swiftly repositioned with her sniper rifle.
The Beast Titan picked up another handful of crushed stones, raising both arms as if preparing to throw. But its gaze wasn't steady—its pupils darted around, as if searching for someone.
Soon, the Beast Titan locked onto a figure darting between buildings like black lightning.
Inside the nape, Zeke let out a sigh of relief and muttered,
"Finally here… acting this whole time was exhausting. I had to control the strength of every throw and make sure no one noticed. What a pain. But at least now I can get away and rest for a bit."
While Zeke was still thinking about whether to chat with his adorable little brother or discuss the next steps with that sly Yago, he felt something was off about the plan—but he couldn't quite pinpoint what.
"Well, whatever. Things are still going according to plan. I'll think about it later. Wait… wasn't it said there was only Levi? Why does it look like there's something else behind him?"
Zeke suddenly sensed something wrong. Levi being fast was one thing—after all, the Ackermans weren't normal humans—but what about those several figures behind him moving just as fast, like bolts of lightning?
"Damn it… I've got a really bad feeling about this." Zeke's expression suddenly turned extremely grave.
