All the students.., more like all the citizens work hard and try to increase their skills and proficiencies so as to be acknowledged by the system because if the system acknowledges someone , they will live life a step above the others in this power-based world. I don't know anything more about system as no one I know has been acknowledged yet.
A crucial information I know is that Earthians have an advantage because they are called "The Master of all trades" and possess a unique skill exclusive to their people called "All Mastery". some say that it allows an Earthian to master any type of skill that isn't unique to others with the most efficiency in time and technique. Since i was adopted early , i don't know any Earthians who awakened this skill using the system.

Carl and I were given the same room in the North Training Dorm Center. We were friends so it was easy for us to be in the same room. A Faculty is assigned to every 50 students, with a minimum of 100 groups. Carl was in my group and our group's faculty name was Grim Andrews. Later I learned in the center that he was one of the strict faculties in the entire center. Well I will only be in this center for a year so I didn't care about that for now.
Daily classes consists of morning theory classes and a mix of magic and weapons classes in the afternoon . All the students are made to jog and exercise in the dawn and dusk to build up physical strength. Tests are conducted in all aspects at the end of every month to evaluate the students' growth. Since Refactle has a large surface area, it has all types of entertainments at the eastern corner of the facility and students are allowed to be free and roam within the center every sunday.
Carl and I would wait for every sunday so as to go check out the restaurants in the eastern corner this first month as we didn't know much about others yet. I asked Carl,
"Carl, did you talk to any other student properly?"
To which he replied..
"No , Harry . All the other students even from our group are maintaining their distances since they don't know who to befriend and who to avoid due to the lack of information on others.
Once this month end test starts, we would know who is powerful and who to trust."
"I guess until then it's just you and me Carl' I said laughingly.
And just like that the first month in the Refactle North training Center came to an end.
Later I learned that each month, they test different aspects to assess the students according to the experience and training they have got.
The first month test was a five men team battle using the basics of magic and weapons training. Only five teams were made to pass this exam in each group. The ones who fail had to retake all the lessons of the entire month again and tests would be repeated until everyone passes the team battle.
I was in a different team from Carl this time and was pretty anxious as I had no talent in any aspect. All the training and teachings were not enough for me to understand everything in a month. Lucky for me that this test was not given individually so I can rely on the team I am gonna be in.
it was a simple battle in which one team has to defeat or exhaust all or most of the members on the opposite team within a 60 minute time limit to win and each team member was given a specific role in accordance to our specialty.
There are Mage and Support at the rear, Tank at the front and weapon dealers in the middle. This is one of the best formations even in real world battles. Since I have no magic ability , weapons' technique or physical ability to withstand blows , I was given the support role at the rear.
My team has a genius mage who was already an expert in basic mana manipulation and mana techniques, his name was Tray Hoodyx, we also had a heavy tank who could withstand heavy blows thank to his gifted physical body , he was called Pensar and the weapon dealers were an archer named Blanx , a girl and a spearman called Champ, she was a trans-woman. we had no swordsman in our team but it wasn't that big of an issue.
Our match was scheduled in the afternoon after Carl's match. it is a good thing that Carl wasn't my opponent, not because he was my friend but he was a talented swordsman, famous in our group because he performed well in all the weapons training sessions using swords. Since the others didn't know his personality , none approached him with friendliness.
As expected Carl's team won in just 40 minutes with Carl being a great contributor and defeating all the team members of the opposite team. i admired his achievement.
Then my team's turn arrived,

our opponents were not that strong, we could have defeated them in 30 minutes but except we couldn't because of our low to no communication with one another. on the other hand , the opposite team was in total sync.
Tray yelled
"Fire Ball Full Speed" as the battle's first attack
but the opposite team's tank blocked it easily and their mage shouted
"Water Slide Full Glide" aiming at our feet ,
we all stumbled but barely escaped falling into the ground.
This caused our formation to collapse and the opposite team's archer and swordsman came forward to attack but as expected Pensar was holding them off with his shield.
I was frustrated will all this incorporation. Even though I didn't understand much in the lectures, I don't want them to repeat the classes which they already mastered for a trivial reason as being out of sync.
i shouted directing at them,
"Don't waste your talents like this.
Just this once do as I say and if we don't win this battle ,
I will be your partner in training for the next month"
which meant that I had to die by their hands everyday because of their ridiculous skills.
with this 10 minutes of the battle had already passed.
