High in the sky, countless crimson flashes blinked, raining down precisely upon Clara, yet not dealing her any harm.
On the ground, the power of Paths continuously assaulted her figure, only to be dissolved one by one by a golden light, then ruthlessly shattered...
"Is this all the strength you possess?" Clara floated in the air, paying no mind to the incessant crimson flashes above.
With a godlike demeanor, she looked down upon everyone.
"Each of you claims to fight for Preservation, for all the people of Jarilo-VI."
"And yet? You are as weak as ants."
"Ahaha… Aha…"
Listening to Clara's words, everyone couldn't help but clench their fists, yet they remained utterly incapable of harming her…
The gap in power was far too vast. Clara effortlessly crushed them all, dominating with overwhelming force.
A golden radiance enveloped the entire star system, while an aura of Destruction constantly emanated from Clara, filling everyone's hearts with profound despair.
"Aha… This… How are we even supposed to fight this…?"
Seeing even Welt get mercilessly crushed by Clara, March 7th bit her lip, grumbling inwardly.
Is this really the kind of opponent meant for newcomers like us who just left the starter zone?!
In March 7th's mind, even her ever-capable Uncle Welt, who summoned a black hole powerful enough to crush an entire planet, couldn't inflict the slightest damage on Clara.
What's the point? What's the absolute point? Might as well just ram the Astral Express into her!
It's either her death, or the Astral Express destroyed with all hands lost!
"Aha… Aha…" Dan Heng didn't say a word, instead continuously adjusting his breathing.
Dan Heng had considered unleashing the power within his heart, but reason told him that even if he accepted that power, he would still be ruthlessly crushed by Clara.
Though he didn't know how Clara had mastered the Stellaron, one thing was certain.
Having absorbed the power of three Stellarons, Clara's combat strength had undoubtedly reached the level of an Emanator.
This was already beyond what the Astral Express could handle…
"If you need my help, just press this button~"
Dan Heng suddenly froze, remembering the words Miss Sparkle had spoken on the Astral Express.
Without a moment's hesitation, Dan Heng took out the button Sparkle had given the Express and pressed it without a second thought.
"..."
After Dan Heng pressed the button, not a single ripple stirred around them. The button seemed utterly useless.
Dan Heng's heart sank into silence, feeling that the Astral Express had been completely fooled by Sparkle, that Masked Fool.
"Mmm~ Finally pressed the button, huh… I was almost done acting…" Watching Dan Heng finally press the button, Clara's anxious heart finally settled.
But in stark contrast to Clara's relief, the crew of the Astral Express, seeing that pressing the button led to absolutely nothing, felt their already anxious hearts wither and die completely.
"That Sparkle… She's going to get us all killed…" March 7th couldn't help but curse under her breath.
"Everyone, farewell." Clara revealed a smile, raising her finger to point toward the heavens.
In the next second, countless meteorites materialized overhead, seemingly poised to annihilate everyone.
"Genesis!"
Shouting your ultimate move's name? Isn't that tradition?
So, Clara followed that tradition, loudly proclaiming the name of her technique.
Countless meteorites streaked across the sky. The aura of Destruction instantly enveloped everyone present, the sensation of death spreading through each person's heart.
"Th… that… If… if there's a next life… I still want to be a passenger on the Astral Express…" Staring at the endless stream of meteors before her, March 7th swallowed hard, already drafting her final words in her mind.
"..."
None of the others refuted March 7th's words.
Each of the countless meteors possessed enough power to destroy a planet. Faced with such an assault, no one except Welt could possibly withstand it…
"Hah…" Looking at the endless meteors before him, Welt took a deep breath, stepped forward, and positioned himself in front of everyone.
"Dan Heng, take everyone and leave this place."
"Uncle Welt…" Hearing these words, March 7th understood exactly what Welt meant.
"Go!"
As soon as Welt finished speaking, he released the full power within his cane.
The next moment, a black hole appeared before each meteor, swallowing them one by one.
"This situation… really brings back memories…" Watching the scene before him and feeling his power draining away continuously, Welt couldn't help but recall a moment from the past.
Remembering everything that had transpired, a trace of nostalgia flickered in Welt's eyes, but it was soon replaced by firm resolve.
Welt removed his glasses, spread his hands open, and faced Clara.
"Well then, come. In the name of the world!"

A/N: Pleeease send gifts, pleeease leave reviews, pleeease urge for more updates, meow meow meow~
Much of the story here takes place before the main plotline, so it might be a bit confusing.
Like how Clara got that 999 bounty, how she joined the Stellaron Hunters, why Firefly likes Clara, and so on…
After the main story is finished, I'll write a 100k-word prequel as a side story.
It'll cover Clara crossing over, receiving blessings from both the Aeons of Remembrance and Elation, her joining the Stellaron Hunters, and her first meeting with Firefly.
Also, the Sin City mentioned earlier won't be in the main story; it'll appear in the side story instead.
Of course, this is just a teaser for now. The main story won't be less than 500k words, so this book is far from finished.
Just putting this out there in advance, and padding the word count a little (crossed out).
