How absurd! The word echoed in my mind, sounding completely ridiculous. I had just found my fated mate after all this time, the one person destined for me, and the very next thing she wants from me is a rejection.
She was demanding that I break the sacred bond before we even had a chance to speak properly, and the sheer nerve of it astounded me.
It was not like I actually wanted her anyway, so she didn't need to feel so superior.
