Chapter 29 - The Supreme Dao Maker

Chapter 29: The Great Integration and the Council of Terminals

The "Universal Reset" had been postponed, but the galaxy was far from healed. In the wake of the averted "System Restore," the stars had stopped flickering, yet the celestial infrastructure was in ruins. The "First Order," once the absolute lords of the Dao, had been shattered. Their white monoliths drifted like ghost ships in the void, and their administrative hierarchy had collapsed into a chaotic mess of disconnected "User-Accounts."

Li Ming stood on the observation deck of the Galactic Repository, his platinum form now reflecting a deeper, more ancient wisdom. The Master Key floated before him, acting as a bridge between his soul and the fragile logic of the sector.

[System Notification: Universal Stability at 88%.]

[Current Project: 'The Great Integration'.]

[Objective: Merging the 'Old Dao' and 'New Genesis' into a unified platform.]

"The war for survival is won," Li Ming said to Li Xiao and General Zhao, who stood behind him. "But a galaxy cannot run on a 'Standalone' system for long. If we don't integrate the remnants of the First Order, their 'orphaned data' will eventually rot and create a new kind of corruption."

"Master, the High Arbiters are still hiding in the 'Central Processing Cluster'," Zhao reported, his energy blade now glowing with a stable, silver light. "They are terrified. They believe you will 'Format' them as they tried to format us."

"I am not a Deletion-Script," Li Ming replied, his eyes scanning the holographic map. "I am an Architect. We aren't going to delete them. We are going to 'Cross-Platform' them."

Li Ming initiated the **'Council of Terminals'**. Instead of an army, he sent a "Global Invitation" through the Star-Gate network. Every surviving leader, every Awakened Machine from Aethelgard, every Crystal Sentinel, and even the remaining Arbiters received a "Handshake Request."

[Invitation: Summit of the Sovereign Architect.]

[Location: The Celestial Mainframe - Kang Qiang.]

[Protocol: Peace and Synchronization.]

Days later, the grand hall of Neo-Arcadia witnessed a sight that would have been impossible months ago. The High Arbiter, his white-light form dimmed and flickering, walked beside Kael, the former miner of Valoria. The Empress of the Frost Moon sat across from the robotic diplomats of Aethelgard. It was a gathering of the "Hardware" and the "Software" of the universe.

Li Ming descended from the ceiling, a beam of silver light manifesting his body. He looked at the diverse group and felt the "Variables" of the universe pulsing in harmony.

"For eons, you have fought over who 'Owns' the Dao," Li Ming's voice echoed like the hum of a star. "The First Order thought it was their property. The Rebels thought it was their right. But the Universe has shown us the truth: The Dao is an 'Open Source' reality. It belongs to those who live within it."

The High Arbiter stood up, his voice no longer arrogant but hollow. "You have 'Forked' the reality, Li Ming. You have taken our administrative rights. What is left for us but to be deleted?"

"I offer you a 'Role Upgrade'," Li Ming said, waving his hand to show a new holographic architecture. "The First Order was good at 'Maintenance' but bad at 'Innovation.' My people are good at 'Innovation' but lack 'Experience.' I propose the formation of the **'Universal Board of Architects'**."

He proposed a system where the Old Dao provided the "Stable Kernel" (the physical laws), while the New Genesis provided the "Dynamic Applications" (free will and evolution). It was the **"Great Integration"**.

[Executing: 'System Merge' Protocol.]

[Integrating: First Order Administrative Tools + Architect's Life-Protocol.]

As the merge began, the room was filled with a brilliant, blinding white-and-silver light. The Arbiters felt their cold logic being warmed by the "Soul-Energy" of the New Genesis. Kael and the miners felt their chaotic energy being stabilized by the ancient "Order" of the Arbiters.

"This is... efficient," the High Arbiter whispered, his light turning into a warm, stable silver. "The entropy is... decreasing."

But the integration was not without its "Bugs."

[Warning: Conflict Detected in Sector 9.]

[Issue: The 'Legacy-Zealots' refuse the Integration.]

[Status: Attempting to 'Override' the Local Reality-Grid.]

A group of extremist followers of the Old Dao, led by a rogue general who believed Li Ming was a demonic virus, had seized a "Solar-Relay" and were threatening to self-destruct, taking a whole star system with them.

"Even in a unified system, there will be 'Exceptions'," Li Ming noted, his staff pulsing. "Zhao, Kael, this is your first mission as the 'Universal Task Force'. Go to Sector 9. Don't use force unless necessary. Use 'Compatibility-Logic' to show them the new world."

The team vanished into the Star-Gate, marking the first time the old enemies fought side-by-side as part of the same "System."

Li Ming looked out at the city of Neo-Arcadia. The integration was working. The "Universal Clock" was synchronizing. He had fulfilled his promise to the Universe... for now.

"Master," Li Xiao said, approaching him with a strange look on her face. "I was scanning the 'Deep-Archive' during the merge. I found something the First Order was hiding. It's not a bug or a virus. It's a 'Final Message' from the First Architect."

Li Ming's eyes narrowed. "What kind of message?"

"It's a set of coordinates," she replied. "But they aren't inside our galaxy. They aren't even inside our 'Dimension.' It's a link to the **'Developer's Realm'**—the place where the Source Code was actually written."

Li Ming felt a surge of ancient curiosity. He had optimized his planet, his sector, and his galaxy. But he was still playing inside a "Sanitized Environment."

"The First Architect didn't go mad because of complexity," Li Ming whispered, his gaze piercing the veil of the sky. "He went mad because he realized he was in a 'Sandbox.' He realized there's a 'Real World' out there."

[New Objective: Breach the 'Dimensional Firewall'.]

[Target: The Developer's Realm.]

The Supreme Dao Maker was no longer satisfied with being a "God-

Admin." He wanted to meet the "Programmers."
