Chapter 104 - ep 104

The mountain was calm.

Too calm.

After demons at the border and skyfire in the forest, the silence felt heavier than battle.

Inside the inner chamber, only three people remained.

Feng Lihan. Mo Shan. Lin Yue.

The chick slept between them, small and warm, golden lashes resting against soft skin.

Lin Yue sat cross-legged, fingers intertwined tightly in his lap.

He had been quiet for too long.

"…There's something I never properly explained," he said at last.

Feng Lihan didn't interrupt.

Mo Shan adjusted his glasses slightly, attentive.

Lin Yue inhaled slowly.

"I didn't just fall from the sky."

A pause.

"I came from another world."

Mo Shan's brows drew together.

"Another realm?"

"No." Lin Yue shook his head. "Not a cultivation realm. Not a spirit plane. A… modern world."

They waited.

"In my world," he continued softly, "there are no beast clans. No winged warriors. No demons. No skyfire."

Mo Shan blinked. "No beasts at all?"

"Only normal animals. Wolves don't shift. Birds don't command wind. Humans are just… humans."

Feng Lihan watched him carefully.

"And you?"

Lin Yue gave a faint, crooked smile.

"In my world, we still have secondary genders."

Mo Shan tilted his head. "Secondary?"

Lin Yue nodded.

"Alpha. Beta. Omega."

The words sounded strange in the stone chamber.

He continued before they could ask.

"Alphas are dominant. Stronger. Aggressive. Natural leaders. They have powerful pheromones."

Feng Lihan's gaze flickered slightly.

"Omegas," Lin Yue went on, "are rarer. Sensitive. Highly fertile. Our scent can influence others. We go through heat cycles."

Mo Shan's ears reddened slightly at the clinical explanation, but he didn't interrupt.

"And Betas?" he asked.

"Neutral. No strong pheromones. No heat or rut cycles. Most of the population."

Silence settled.

Feng Lihan crossed his arms slowly.

"And you are Omega."

It wasn't a question.

"Yes."

Lin Yue met his eyes steadily.

"I was a dominant Omega. Which means my pheromones are strong. Stronger than average."

Mo Shan exhaled slowly.

"That explains the wolves."

Lin Yue nodded.

"When I arrived here, I had no suppressants. No scent blockers. Nothing. I was naked, in heat-sensitive territory, releasing Omega pheromones into a forest full of predators."

Mo Shan grimaced. "You're lucky you survived."

Feng Lihan's jaw tightened.

"He didn't survive by luck."

Lin Yue glanced at him.

The memory was clear.

Huge arms. Warm body. Deep voice.

"…Found you. My mate."

Lin Yue looked back at Mo Shan.

"In my world, mates are usually determined biologically. Scent compatibility. Pheromone response. Instinct."

Mo Shan turned slowly toward Feng Lihan.

"Which means…"

Lin Yue finished it.

"When he caught me that night… he reacted like an Dominant Alpha."

Feng Lihan did not deny it.

"I did."

The admission was calm.

Unapologetic.

Lin Yue's peach scent grew faintly stronger in the chamber, warm and steady.

"In my world," Lin Yue continued, "Alphas respond to Omegas instinctively. Protectiveness. Possessiveness. Attraction."

Mo Shan looked between them.

"So in your classification system… Feng Lihan would be an Dominant Alpha."

"Yes."

"And me?" Mo Shan asked dryly.

Lin Yue studied him thoughtfully.

"Alpha."

Mo Shan looked offended for half a second.

Then thoughtful.

"…That is disturbingly accurate."

Feng Lihan stepped closer to Lin Yue.

"And this system," he asked quietly, "still affects you?"

"Yes."

Lin Yue didn't look away.

"My body didn't change when I crossed worlds. I still have Omega biology. I still produce pheromones."

His voice softened.

"And I still react to an Alpha."

The air shifted.

Not sexual.

Not explicit.

Just heavy with meaning.

Feng Lihan's wings shifted slightly behind him.

"Does that make you weaker?" he asked.

Lin Yue's eyes sharpened immediately.

"No."

The word was firm.

"In my world, Omegas are often treated as weak. Owned. Controlled. Used for political marriage."

A shadow crossed his expression.

"But biologically? We're resilient. Adaptive. Strong in different ways."

Mo Shan nodded slowly.

"That explains why your scent influences the child."

Lin Yue looked down at the sleeping chick.

"Yes. My biology merged with this world's bloodline system. That's why our child is different."

Golden light flickered faintly at the chick's temple.

Feng Lihan spoke quietly.

"So the Demon Lord smelling you…"

"It wasn't destiny," Lin Yue said immediately. "It was unfamiliarity."

Mo Shan leaned back.

"You are the only Omega in this world."

"Yes."

"And therefore," Mo Shan concluded, "your scent is an anomaly."

Lin Yue nodded.

"And anomalies attract attention."

Silence settled again.

Feng Lihan finally stepped in front of Lin Yue, crouching slightly so their eyes met.

"In your world," he asked quietly, "what happens to Omegas who are forced into marriage?"

Lin Yue's gaze flickered.

"They are married"

The words were simple.

But heavy.

But i didn't want to so I fall on to river

Then i cross the world.

Feng Lihan's eyes darkened.

"You are not disappearing here."

Lin Yue's lips curved faintly.

"I know."

The chick shifted, tiny claws gripping his robe.

Mo Shan cleared his throat.

"So to summarize…"

He pointed at Feng Lihan.

" dominant Alpha."

At himself.

"Alpha."

At Lin Yue.

"Dominant Omega from another world with rare cross-realm pheromonal structure."

Lin Yue laughed softly for the first time that night.

"That sounds about right."

Outside, wind brushed gently against the mountain walls.

Not tense.

Not waiting.

Just steady.

For the first time since the Demon Lord reappeared—

The problem wasn't prophecy.

It wasn't ancient seals.

It wasn't blood convergence.

It was simple.

Lin Yue was different.

And different things change worlds.

Feng Lihan stood.

Then extended his hand.

Not to claim.

Not to command.

To anchor.

Lin Yue took it.

Peach scent warmed the chamber.

And for once—

There was no shadow listening.
