In the vast and fantastical Pokémon world, Ash, a passionate young man with the dream of becoming a Pokémon Master, has always pressed forward on his adventurous journey.
His footprints have covered various regions, and each journey has been full of unknowns and challenges, yet he has also gained countless precious memories and deep bonds.
Today, Ash, with Pikachu and his unwavering determination, embarked on a journey to Mt. Silver.
Mt. Silver, located in the Johto region, is a mysterious and dangerous mountain range, long a habitat for many powerful Pokémon.
The terrain on the mountain is complex, the climate is volatile, steep cliffs resemble ferocious beasts, deep valleys seem to lead to endless abysses, and mysterious caves hidden in the clouds are filled with an unknown aura.
At the foot of Mt. Silver, Ash looked at the towering peaks before him and took a deep breath, saying,
"Larvitar, I'm coming for you!"
A series of echoes startled quite a few bird Pokémon.
Immediately, Ash took his first step up the mountain.
The path up the mountain was even more rugged and difficult than he remembered, covered with sharp rocks and intertwined tree roots, as if it had been artificially arranged.
Ash proceeded cautiously, every step filled with vigilance.
If a ranger were present, he would surely say,
"There are official climbing routes and nearby residential paths; this one you're on was used by poachers. If I didn't add some artificial obstacles, wouldn't I be a fool?"
Suddenly, a wild Beedrill flew out from the bushes, and memories of the past instantly flooded his mind.
Ash stretched his limbs and rubbed his hands together: "Pikachu, go!"
Pikachu reacted quickly, grinning mischievously, and stood in front of Ash, using Iron Tail to repeatedly strike the Beedrill's face.
Ash watched, subconsciously touching his own face,
"Sure enough, Pikachu always said he forgot, but it was all fake."
On the vast Mt. Silver, Ash didn't have a nose like a Growlithe, so he and Pikachu could only search one area at a time.
They traversed a dense forest, where the trees were tall and thick, obscuring the sky and sun.
Sunlight could only barely filter through the gaps in the leaves, forming golden beams of light.
In Mt. Silver, Ash encountered various Pokémon.
Each time he encountered a Pokémon, Ash dealt with it carefully, trying to avoid unnecessary battles to prevent major trouble.
However, as they delved deeper into Mt. Silver, the difficulties increased.
A sudden storm erupted in the mountains, with strong winds howling and sweeping through, making the tree branches sway wildly.
Rain poured down, instantly engulfing everything in a curtain of rain.
Ash quickly found a cave to take shelter from the rain.
The cave was dark and damp, filled with a pungent smell—a mixture of decay and dampness.
In the depths of the cave, pairs of eyes seemed to watch them from the darkness, flickering with an eerie glow.
Pikachu huddled closely beside Ash, his body trembling slightly.
Suddenly, a giant Crobat swooped out from the darkness, attacking Ash and Pikachu.
Ash sent out Heracross, and Heracross, wielding its strong horn, used its powerful strength to knock over the Crobat.
The weather in Mt. Silver was unpredictable, as if everything followed the will of nature.
Ash continued forward and successfully got lost.
Pikachu looked at Ash and let out a long sigh.
Ash pretended not to hear and continued to press forward bravely, arriving at the edge of a steep cliff.
Below the cliff was a bottomless valley, shrouded in thick fog, making it unfathomable.
To continue, they had to climb along a narrow path on the cliff edge.
This path was only wide enough for one person, with a steep mountain wall on one side and a bottomless abyss on the other.
Ash looked at the dangerous path, a little hesitant.
But thinking that Larvitar might be not far away, he gritted his teeth and decided to take the risk.
He carefully stepped onto the path, inching forward, each step taken with extreme caution.
Pikachu clung tightly to his shoulder, not daring to breathe.
As Ash moved, he secretly complained, wishing he hadn't sent Charizard back to Professor Oak's lab.
Finally, he successfully crossed the cliff and arrived at the depths of Mt. Silver.
Here, Ash discovered a huge cave.
The entrance to the cave exuded a mysterious aura, as if an invisible hand was beckoning them.
With his usual curiosity, recklessness, and luck, Ash and Pikachu exchanged glances and decided to enter the cave.
The cave was also dark and damp, with strange lights flickering on the walls—these were glowing minerals, making the cave appear even more mysterious.
They proceeded cautiously.
Suddenly, a deep roar came from the depths of the cave, growing closer and closer.
Ash bent his body slightly, ready for battle.
A giant Tyranitar appeared before them.
Its body was massive and strong, its rocky skin like sturdy armor, exuding a powerful sense of oppression.
The Tyranitar's eyes revealed a powerful deterrent, and it looked at Ash and Pikachu, letting out another roar that made the cave tremble slightly.
Ash was shaken by the Tyranitar's imposing presence, but he did not back down.
At this moment, Pikachu seemed to notice something, calling out to the Tyranitar several times, and then to Ash several times.
"Could it be… you're Larvitar?" Ash asked tentatively.
The Tyranitar's body trembled slightly upon hearing Ash's voice, and childhood memories flooded its mind.
A complex emotion flashed in its eyes: surprise, nostalgia, and a hint of grievance.
Stalactites on the cave ceiling dripped water, forming beads in the Tyranitar's eyes, reflecting the Ash of the past: carrying a trainer's travel backpack, offering a burnt berry to its mouth, and smilingly saying, "We are partners."
When Ash called out "Larvitar" again, the Tyranitar's roar suddenly changed pitch, sounding very much like its hungry whimpers from back then.
It bent its front paw and carefully touched Ash's hat, but poked a hole in the brim.
Ash observed that the rock texture on its claws was three times finer than that of an ordinary Tyranitar.
After two months of study at Professor Oak's lab, Ash couldn't possibly fail to recognize that this was proof of it actively suppressing its power during each evolution.
Because Larvitar didn't want Ash to not recognize it.
The Tyranitar looked at Ash, its imposing presence and deterrence gradually fading, replaced by a gentle warmth and nostalgia.
Immediately, the Tyranitar, just like the Larvitar of old, forever the child nurtured by Ash, bounded towards Ash.
Ash wore a look of relief, touched by their unchanging bond and affection.
In just 2 seconds, he quickly realized that it had already evolved into a Tyranitar, and if he were hit, he might have to meet Ho-Oh prematurely.
"Stop, Tyranitar, you've evolved, I can't take it, stop!"
The Tyranitar heard Ash's shouts and finally came to its senses, stopping steadily in front of Ash.
It gently lowered its head and rubbed against Ash's body, as if expressing its longing after their separation.
Ash excitedly hugged the Tyranitar's neck and said, "This is great, I finally found you."
However, just then, a noisy sound suddenly came from the cave entrance.
A group of Team Rockets members appeared before them.
The Team Rockets squad leader sneered, "Hmph, I didn't expect to encounter such a powerful Tyranitar here.
Perfect, Team Rockets needs a strong Pokémon to bolster our strength.
We'll take this Tyranitar."
A minion echoed, "That's right, if you know what's good for you, hand over the Tyranitar quickly, or you won't be leaving here."
"As if handing it over would make you let me go, hypocrites."
Ash's sharp tongue was activated at some point, and he unleashed a barrage of words at the Team Rockets minions.
"You won't take Tyranitar.
It's my partner, it's my family."
"Tyranitar, let's fight together."
"You too, Heracross, come out."
"Pikachu, go!"
The battle was about to begin.
The Team Rockets members all sent out their Pokémon and attacked Ash.
Weezing, Ekans, and a host of other Pokémon approached.
"Weezing, use Will-O-Wisp!"
"Ekans, use Poison Sting!"
"Houndoom, Flamethrower!"
A dense wave of attacks surged forward.
When Team Rockets' Weezing spewed Will-O-Wisp, Tyranitar suddenly crouched low.
It used the tip of its tail to carve grooves in the ground, diverting the cave's accumulated water towards Houndoom's position, catching Houndoom off guard.
The "Ekans, Poison Sting" command had just fallen when Tyranitar opened its massive mouth, and a Hyper Beam was already swirling in its palm.
Unlike a normal Hyper Beam's linear projection, transparent ripples emanated from its palm's edge, refracting the beam into a fan shape.
Weezing's Will-O-Wisp, Ekans's Poison Sting, and even the Team Rockets members' Poké Balls were all swept into the vortex formed by the beam.
When the explosion's shockwave blew off the cave ceiling's gravel, Tyranitar deliberately angled its palm's force, allowing the air current to only shatter Team Rockets' aircraft without damaging the cave's structure.
Tyranitar let out a heavy sigh, indicating to Ash that this was nothing.
Immediately, tiny yellow lights gathered in Tyranitar's mouth, particularly conspicuous in the dim cave.
Again, a one-shot kill, Hyper Beam!
Ash watched from the side, his eyes sparkling.
That move was too beautiful, using its palm!
Truly my Tyranitar.
--- The Mt. Silver Protection Agency and Police Station dispatched elites, only to find scorched ashes in the cave and the unconscious Team Rockets minions.
And so, Ash, with Pikachu and Tyranitar, embarked on a new journey.
They knew that more challenges awaited them, but as long as they worked together, nothing could stop their progress.
Tyranitar, once Larvitar, would continue to write their story and legend by Ash's side.
In the following days, Ash returned to Pallet Town with Tyranitar and asked Professor Oak to conduct basic tests on it.
Professor Oak's detection pen traced a blue light on Tyranitar's shoulder armor: "Ash, look at this terrifying bone density, its size is 1.7 times that of a normal Tyranitar.
You've gained a formidable warrior, young man!"
Tyranitar suddenly bent down and rubbed its head against Ash's chest, a low growl rumbling in its throat.
That was the signal for affection from its Larvitar days.
Ash's fingers slipped into the rocky crevices of its neck, finding a smooth area not covered by scales, its skin texture remarkably similar to the Larvitar he once held in his arms.
"By the way, news came from the Orange Islands that the child has been found."
"Good, I'll pack up and go then.
I'll take Tyranitar with me.
This child is still as trustworthy as ever."
No sooner had the words "trustworthy" left his mouth than Tyranitar suddenly bit his backpack strap and started pulling him out of the lab.
It still remembered Ash's promise to take it to see the sea.
What are we waiting for? I, Tyranitar, want to see the sea!
"Hey, hey, hey, Tyranitar, slow down, no rush!"
"No rush, grab your stuff and let's go, Tyranitar!"
