Chapter 37 - Chapter 37: Release the Aura Compressed

The gate did not open quietly.

It parted like two tectonic plates separating under immense pressure.

Molten veins ran across obsidian pillars towering nearly a hundred meters high. Beyond the threshold stretched a vast battlefield an enormous circular plain layered in black stone ringed by jagged mountain ridges that formed a natural coliseum.

The sky above churned with layered storm clouds rotating in slow deliberate spirals.

This was not a wave floor. This was consolidation.

All the monsters and the entities from Floors 11 through 19 stood assembled.

Kael stepped forward.

The gate sealed behind him.

The ground trembled not from him from the army.

They stood in formation across the plain.

The Army of Floors 11–19

The first line consisted of:

Ironhide Marauders – Level 92

Massive humanoid brutes from Floor 11. Dense muscle layered beneath mineralized armour plates fused to skin. Tower shields formed from bone alloy strapped to forearms. Slow individually but relentless in formation.

Behind them:

Crimson Stalkers – Level 95

Lean predators from Floor 12. Quad-jointed limbs allowing mid-air trajectory adjustments. Blade-tipped tails capable of piercing reinforced plating. Known for synchronized pack strikes.

Third rank:

Abyssal Crushers – Level 98

Floor 13 shock units. Four-armed constructs of black stone and sinew. Each arm capable of independent targeting. Their torsos housed secondary cores, allowing continued combat after primary structural damage.

Further back:

Grave Tyrants – Level 101

Survivors from Floor 14. Mounted cavalry-class beasts plated in dark bone armor. Their roars destabilized footing across wide radius.

Interspersed among them:

Bone Wardens – Level 104

Elite enforcers from Floor 15. Rotational blade limbs capable of area denial combat.

Above circling the sky:

Glacial Reavers – Level 106

Crystalline aerial predators from Floor 16. Precision dive units.

On the ground flanks:

Execution Sentinels – Level 109

Gravitational heavy infantry from Floor 17. Cleavers generating localized weight distortion.

Within the outer perimeter forests:

Shadow Lurkers – Level 112

Ambush specialists from Floor 18. Multi-limbed, high-speed, surgical predators.

Guarding the rear:

Infernal Wardens – Level 115

Fire-chain wielding commanders from Floor 19. All the monsters were higher level than usual.

I always think how did the first-generation players clear this floor. But I forget the original mission was to survive all floors and waves of monsters and the first-generation players were in groups called guilds or mercenaries while I hunt solo and with restrictions and kill the monsters coming wave by wave. Aren't I being too strong right now but not too much I guess

And standing alone at the center

The Boss.

The Delta Chieftain – Level 130

It stood nearly fifteen meters tall.

Its form was not singular in design but composite. When you see the name its chieftain which is lower than the frost sovereign name but much stronger than the frost sovereign.

Crystalline armour from the Frost Sovereign layered over volcanic plating from Infernal Wardens. Gravitational sigils burned across its limbs like execution markings. Four arms two wielding massive twin blades forged from condensed elemental fusion. Its chest housed a core rotating slowly, radiating layered energy signatures.

The Delta Sovereign did not roar and did not give a posture or a stance of battle it just observed Kael and Kael observed it.

This was finale.

Shen Yao descended slowly behind Kael.

"This floor is not only about restraint" Shen Yao said calmly.

Kael didn't respond.

"You have compressed long enough."

The army shifted slightly.

They felt him.

Even now before release they felt the density.

"Kael" Shen Yao said quietly.

"Go all out."

A pause "Release everything."

Kael closed his eyes.

For the first time since Floor 11 he allowed his authority to expand outward slowly and not recklessly but only with efficiency

But this time it was deliberately.

It began as a low vibration in the air.

The ground beneath his feet fractured instantly.

A circular shockwave rippled outward but not explosive but overwhelming.

The air thickened violently.

The Ironhide Marauders in the front line staggered.

The Crimson Stalkers halted mid-step.

The pressure intensified.

Kael inhaled.

And then he released fully.

The aura that had been compressed for ten floors detonated outward like a solar eruption.

Black stone cracked across the battlefield in a perfect expanding ring.

Wind erupted outward in all directions.

The storm clouds above split open from the center.

His aura was no longer distortion. It was visible.

A massive pressure field radiating outward in layered waves bending light around him.

The first ten meters all monsters collapsed to one knee instantly.

Twenty meters shields cracked.

Weapons fell from hands.

Thirty meters Ironhide Marauders were driven face-first into the ground.

Crimson Stalkers shrieked and flattened themselves instinctively.

Grave Tyrants roared but their legs buckled.

Execution Sentinels attempted to activate gravitational counter fields but they failed.

Their cleavers struck the ground uselessly.

Glacial Reavers in the sky faltered and plummeted downward.

Shadow Lurkers froze in mid-swing.

The aura did not stop expanding.

It pressed. It crushed. It suffocated.

Most monsters those below Level 110 simply collapsed fully onto the ground their bodies trembling violently under oppressive dominance.

Some disintegrated outright.

Bone cracked.

Cores ruptured.

Structures imploded.

Nearly ninety percent of the battlefield was neutralized without a single strike.

The air rang with cracking structures and collapsing bodies.

Only elite-tier units remained partially upright.

Infernal Wardens struggled to maintain stance.

Execution Sentinels trembled visibly.

And at the center The Delta Chieftain stood. Its knees bent slightly under pressure. Its armour fractured in thin lines.

But it did not kneel.

Kael opened his eyes.

They were calm and absolute

The aura around him surged again.

This time upward.

A pillar of compressed authority shot into the sky tearing apart storm layers completely.

The sky cleared above him in a perfect circular opening.

The remaining monsters began lowering their heads fully to the ground.

Instinct older than design triggered inside them.

Submission.

Predators did not recognize words.

But they recognized hierarchy.

Shen Yao watched without interference.

"This" he said quietly "is what you were building."

The Delta Chieftain roared from refusal.

It raised both massive blades and drove them into the ground activating layered defensive fields around itself.

The aura struck those fields violently. Shock waves rippled outward from the boss alone.

Kael stepped forward.

With each step the aura intensified. Stone beneath him vaporized into dust.

The remaining Infernal Wardens collapsed fully their cores imploding under sustained pressure.

Execution Sentinels shattered one by one.

The Sovereign alone remained standing.

It ripped its blades free and charged.

The ground split beneath its steps.

Even under suppression it moved.

Kael did not reduce the output. He walked toward it.

Their collision point cracked the battlefield in a fifty-meter radius.

The Sovereign's twin blades descended simultaneously.

Kael raised one arm.

Authority condensed into a visible cover around his forearm.

The blades struck and stopped.

The impact shock wave obliterated remaining lesser bodies nearby.

Kael pushed upward.

The blades were forced back.

The chieftain rotated launching a gravitational pulse from its chest sigils.

The pulse met Kael's aura head-on.

For the first time the aura met resistance.

The battlefield trembled violently.

Mountains surrounding the arena cracked along their edges.

Kael smiled faintly because he felt right now was the confirmation of facing the worthy opponent

The Chieftain unleashed layered attacks fire surge, gravitational distortion, frost spears descending from above.

Kael stepped through all of it untouched and also but unshaken.

His aura carved safe space around him automatically.

Fire bent around it.

Gravity collapsed against it.

Frost disintegrated before contact.

They closed distance again.

Kael struck once

The chieftain blocked with crossed blades. The impact sent it sliding backward nearly twenty meters.

It roared and expanded its own field outward.

A dark halo formed around it pushing against Kael's domain.

The battlefield between them fractured deeper.

Two centers of pressure colliding.

Kael increased his power again.

The aura flared brighter and denser.

The Chieftain's legs cracked at the joints.

But it refused to kneel. It lunged again. This time faster.

Blades slashed in crossing arcs.

Kael leaned slightly and drove his fist directly into the Chieftain's chest plate.

The composite armour shattered partially. The rotating core became visible.

Energy pulsed violently from within it.

The Chieftain retaliated with a point-blank detonation.

The explosion consumed both figures momentarily.

Dust engulfed the battlefield.

When it cleared Kael stood unmoved.

The Chieftain staggered.

Its armour heavily fractured. Its core exposed but intact.

They locked eyes.

Everything else on the battlefield lay flattened or destroyed.

Only the boss remained upright.

Kael's aura stabilized at maximum output.

The sky above remained torn open. The ground around him formed a cratered radius of dominance.

Shen Yao's voice carried calmly across the battlefield.

"Now" he said.

"Finish what compression began."

Kael stepped forward.

The Delta Chieftain roared and charged one final time.

Their next collision would decide the floor.
