"President Steele, President Astor from ES Group has arrived. He's asking for you," the woman in the black dress approached again from the crowd, lowering her voice as she spoke into Victor's ear.
Isabella heard the words clearly.
Victor nodded, then turned to her. His tone was calm, almost casual. "Wait for me. I'll be back."
Before she could respond, he had already turned away and disappeared into the crowd.
To Isabella, this was probably the best outcome for the moment. She did not know why Victor had deliberately arranged for Ethan Cruz and Chloe Bennet to appear here, nor did she know what he planned to do next. But she understood one thing very clearly.
Running away would not solve anything.
