-CHAPTER 9-
-KIYOTAKA IJICHI POV-
Ijichi was just a normal assistant manager that worked for Jujutsu Tech. While his job was dangerous in a certain way; it was very important and he took it very seriously.
Though according to him the worst part of being in his position was…
"So you're saying that neither the police nor any of our windows saw anything?" asked the tall and extremely powerful white haired man wearing white bandages around his eyes and dark clothes.
Meeting and covering with people that were his seniors during the days he was trying to be a Sorcerer… not to mention dealing with this guy of all people…
Shakily, Ijichi nods nervously. "Yes sir!"
The man puts a hand on his chin, thinking. "How peculiar… despite the immense amount of CE dispersed in the surrounding area, the signs of the battles are only restricted to the warehouse and some surrounding outside… The lack of a barrier shows that the sorcerer was inexperienced… but the most damning of all is the familiarity I have with this CE… no doubt this was done by him." Gojo Satoru's lips quirk up in a smile. "So you finally decided on using your potential huh Megumi? I guess your sister's situation must've been your breaking point…"
Ijichi tilted his head in confusion. Megumi? Who's that? But not having the courage to ask, Ijichi just said. "Sir?"
Gojo looked back at Ijichi waving his hand in a dismissive way. "Oh it's nothing Ijichi-san! I'll handle it." Ijichi visibly calms down; there weren't many people capable of even standing in front of Gojo Satoru, much less actually fighting him, so Ijichi's worries were put to rest.
Gojo continues. "You make sure that they exorcise and clean this place of the residual CE, alright? Ijichi nods quickly, bowing as Gojo walks away. "See ya!"
Ijichi sighs as he stands back up straight, calling the exorcising crews to quickly deal with the cursed site.
While it was stressful to be in the vicinity of someone like Gojo Satoru, it was also comforting to know that someone like him is on the side of good…
-FUSHIGURO MEGUMI POV-
I was sleeping like a log after the night I had. Easily the best sleep I've ever had. In the dream, I had mastered the all the Shikigami of the Ten Shadows, I was a special grade sorcerer with more CE than Sukuna, had a harem of all the beauties in JJK world and was the biggest, strongest, baddest son of a bitc-
TING! TONG! TING! TONG! TING! TONG! TING! TONG!
"WHO THE FUCK IS RINGING MY BELL LIKE A MADMAN!" You couldn't imagine how annoyed I was when I woke up from my amazing dream this way.
In fact I'm determined to teach this delinquent a lesson in manners! I walked to the door in a menacing way, my hair standing in weird ways both because of me having just woken up, as well as because of how some parts of it were destroyed yesterday.
I'll have to go for a haircut today. But let's deal with this troublemaker first.
I slammed open the door in anger. "OY! HAVEN'T YOUR PARENTS TAUGHT YOU SOME MANNERS-!?" But I stopped when I saw the grinning face of a tall, bandage wearing, white haired man in black clothing.
Smirking at me mischievously, he looks down at me. "What were you saying about manners, Megumi? And what happened to your hair?"
Looking at him, I couldn't help but feel annoyed. Emotions of the old Megumi resurfacing as I quipped back. "My point still stands Gojo." And I walked inside. "Come in, and close the door behind you."
…
Gojo sat down on the kitchen table, doing annoying Gojo things, as I made my morning coffee.
"Do you want something? Coffee or tea?" I asked out of politeness and some respect.
"Nope." He waved his hand. "I just wanted to talk, you know? About how you're doing, how Tsumiki has been, about your actions last night…" he looked at me with a mysterious smile while saying that last part.
I sighed. So straight off the bat huh? I sat down in front of him and took a sip of my coffee. "What do you mean?" One thing I had learned after spending a summer with my uncle who was a lawyer in my past life, was that don't admit to anything.
He looked at me like he couldn't believe I was deflecting it, especially because there was no way to fool his Six Eyes. "So you don't know anything about the warehouse that was destroyed last night and woke up half the district?" he said in a deadpan tone.
"Nope." I smiled obliviously. "I guess I'm a heavy sleeper."
"And what about the massive amounts of CE residuals that were the perfect match for yours?" his voice was even more deadpan and non-believing.
"Don't know what you're talking about." I took another sip of my coffee.
-It seems his patience ran thin, because the next moment he was on the verge of punching me as I instinctively covered myself in CE to protect myself from danger, throwing the mug after filling it the brim with CE and exploding it in his face as it created a small dust cloud and I flipped away.
Still in fighting stance, my mind caught up with my instincts as-
CLAP! CLAP! CLAP!
The small dust cloud dissipated to reveal him with obviously zero damage, not even his hair had moved!
Infinity, what a cheat! Please god nerf this guy a little! Thought the guy who can summon a very powerful monster that can adapt to and counter any phenomena.
I clicked my tongue in annoyance, standing back up straight as I looked at the white haired sorcerer with eyes full of judgment. "That was a test, wasn't it?"
Gojo just laughs. "Obviously Megumi! I had to make you admit it! And what's better than having a small fight?"
I deadpanned. "You would absolutely destroy me in a fight."
He waved. "Don't be like that! You can probably put up a decent fight now after how you've grown in just the week I last saw you."
"Wow, how humble you are." I sarcastically replied as I sat back down. Knowing that he was- if anything overestimating my capabilities compared to him. I can't even touch him until I somehow tame Mahoraga or learn Domain Amplification. "You know you're going to have to pay for that mug right? It was pretty expensive."
Gojo sweatdropped comedically. "Let's leave that all behind us Megumi!" He waved his hands and smiled. "Let's fight!"
I tilted my head. "Why?"
"So we can see how far you've come!" Gojo smiles throwing his hands apart grandiosely.
I sighed tiredly. "Don't wanna." I already knew how it would end after all.
