"Don't be afraid, Mrs. Ryan," one of them called out. "If Andrew really dares to come make trouble, just shout from the corridor, and we'll all come."
"That's right," another added. "We're not scared of him. If he causes a scene, we'll use it as an excuse to kick them out for good."
Their words were warm and sincere, and Mary felt a genuine sense of gratitude. "Thank you, everyone," she said calmly. "It's fine. I'm not afraid of them. Go on and get back to your work."
After that, she turned and entered the family building. Opening the door to the old house, she looked around quietly, mentally sorting through what she wanted to keep and what could be cleared out later.
