Chapter 403 - 403: Imprisoning Luffy?

Luffy turned around, looked at Garp, and asked in a low voice,

"Grandpa, where are you taking me? To the Navy?"

Garp clenched his fists. Veins bulged across his forehead as though he had finally made up his mind. He answered firmly,

"No! I'm taking you to prison, Luffy!!!"

The moment those words left his mouth, Nami, the others, and even the members of the Revolutionary Army stared at him in shock.

Luffy's eyes widened.

"What did you say?!"

Garp gritted his teeth.

"Luffy, whether you're a pirate or a member of the Revolutionary Army, your destination should be prison!"

As he spoke, he silently added in his heart:

"Forgive me, Luffy. If I want to save your life, this is the only way."

As the most senior Vice Admiral in Marine Headquarters, Garp understood better than anyone how terrifying the Navy had become.

Especially Fleet Admiral Lloyd.

The man was a monster beyond ordinary human comprehension.

More importantly, Lloyd was a Celestial Dragon who never cared about maintaining balance. His only goal was to eliminate every force in the world that opposed the World Government.

The evidence was right in front of everyone.

From the Pirate King to the Four Emperors, and even Dragon, the leader of the Revolutionary Army, all had been crushed into the dust of history by the Navy under Lloyd's command.

If Luffy continued down this path, Garp was certain his end would be unimaginably tragic.

There was no longer any possibility of Luffy returning to an ordinary life.

Even if Luffy wanted to, the Navy would never allow it.

He had repeatedly caused chaos, openly challenged the World Government, and now stood alongside the most dangerous rebel force in the world.

Someone like him was only one step away from being erased by the Navy.

Garp had already lost his son, Dragon.

He refused to lose his grandson as well.

That was why, no matter what happened today, he would take Luffy to prison.

However, before Luffy could respond, Lindbergh suddenly stepped forward and shouted angrily,

"I respected you for years, but I was wrong! You're nothing more than a dog of the World Government!"

The insult instantly darkened Garp's expression.

If Luffy had said it, that would have been one thing.

But who was Lindbergh to lecture him?

He was a Marine who pursued justice, not a servant of the World Government.

Garp narrowed his eyes and stared at Lindbergh.

"You are not qualified to judge this old man..."

The moment his words fell, Garp shot into the sky.

Armament Haki surged around his fist, releasing a terrifying pressure.

His body descended like a meteor toward Lindbergh.

"Galaxy Impact!!!"

Boom!!!

A massive mushroom cloud erupted from the ground.

The earth trembled violently.

Garp emerged from the smoke and landed nearby, his expression cold as he stared ahead.

Several moments later, the dust finally settled.

A huge crater had appeared where Lindbergh once stood.

At its center, Lindbergh's body was buried deep in the collapsed earth, with only his head exposed.

Dozens of Revolutionary Army soldiers lay scattered around him, all unconscious.

With a single punch, Garp displayed the terrifying might of the Navy's legendary Hero.

Blood flowed down Lindbergh's forehead, staining the fur on his head red.

Grinding his teeth, he unleashed a burst of electricity that shattered the surrounding rubble before forcing himself free.

Yet the moment he landed, his body swayed violently.

He nearly collapsed again.

Garp's furious punch was not something anyone could shrug off.

Nearby, Luffy emerged from a pile of debris while carrying Nami.

He looked around at the battlefield before turning toward Garp.

"Grandpa... do you really have to do this?"

Without looking at him, Garp replied coldly,

"My answer should already be clear."

Luffy fell silent.

Nami glanced at him worriedly.

"Luffy..."

"Tsk."

Luffy gently set her down.

Then he removed the straw hat hanging behind his back and placed it firmly on his head.

Holding the brim, he lowered his gaze.

"I don't want to lose any more friends, Grandpa... No, Vice Admiral Garp."

His eyes sharpened.

"If you want to throw us into prison..."

"Then come and try it!!!"

Boom!!!

An overwhelming burst of Conqueror's Haki exploded from his body.

Red and black lightning crackled through the air.

A violent shockwave swept across the battlefield like a hurricane.

Spiderweb-like cracks spread beneath Luffy's feet.

Garp's expression changed.

"Such powerful Conqueror's Haki..."

"It seems I underestimated you, Luffy."

Luffy ignored him.

Slowly, he raised his head.

Golden pupils gleamed beneath the brim of his straw hat.

Then he grinned.

Garp frowned.

"What are you laughing at?"

"Is something funny?"

Instead of stopping, Luffy laughed even harder.

His laughter echoed across the battlefield.

Garp's face darkened further and further.

Finally, he snapped.

"Stop laughing!"

Whoosh!

In an instant, Garp appeared directly in front of Luffy.

Before anyone could react, he grabbed Luffy and launched himself into the sky.

Armament Haki covered his arms as thick muscles bulged beneath his skin.

He tightly restrained Luffy while ascending higher and higher.

Once he reached a sufficient height, Garp swung downward with all his strength.

"Seabed Fall!"

Boom!!!

Luffy slammed into the ground like a falling comet.

The impact blasted open an enormous crater.

Red and black lightning burst continuously from within the pit.

Seeing this, Lindbergh and the remaining Revolutionary Army soldiers could no longer stand by.

They charged toward Garp simultaneously.

However, aside from Lindbergh, the attacks of the others were completely ignored.

Protected by powerful Armament Haki, Garp rushed directly into the crowd.

He grabbed a Revolutionary Army soldier with each hand and hurled them away like cannonballs.

"Fist Meteor!"

Boom! Boom! Boom!

One Revolutionary Army fighter after another fell.

Garp rampaged through the battlefield like a tiger among sheep, unstoppable and overwhelming.

Watching from a distance, Lindbergh became increasingly anxious.

Ignoring his injuries, he rushed forward once more and engaged Garp in close combat.

Yet after only a brief exchange, Garp caught his claws and flung him away again.

Despite his age, Garp remained one of the monsters of the old era.

His hand-to-hand combat skills were polished to perfection.

His Armament Haki was equally formidable in offense and defense.

Even the shockwaves produced by his punches were enough to inflict severe casualties upon the Revolutionary Army.

Still, the Revolutionary Army was not a disorganized pirate crew.

Every member had received military training.

Even now, not a single one fled.

Under Lindbergh's command, they continued charging forward without hesitation.

In truth, Garp had been holding back from the beginning.

Behind him stood Foosha Village.

If he unleashed his full strength, the village could easily be reduced to rubble.

But if he continued to be dragged down by endless waves of opponents, the situation would gradually become unfavorable.

After all, there was one fact he could not ignore.

His lifespan had been taken by Fleet Admiral Lloyd.

His current condition was far from the peak strength he once possessed.
