After returning to Marineford, Lloyd first went to find Kong to report on his mission. The chaos he caused on Cake Island had been massive, and the entire world was already buzzing about it.
Kong listened carefully to the full account, then nodded with satisfaction,
"Very good, no matter what Roger intends to do, none of that matters, the Navy cannot allow it!"
Lloyd smiled faintly in response, but in his mind he knew something Kong did not, he thought, That man Roger should be heading toward †Laugh Tale† already.
Lloyd's gaze darkened as he turned that over in his mind,
"Roger, you'd better hurry up, because the Pirate King's head… I'm taking it from you."
After leaving Kong's office, Lloyd called Lucia and Ginny, spending the next few days relaxing with the two women in Marineford.
One afternoon, Lloyd was in his office dialing a Den Den Mushi.
The call connected almost instantly, and a familiar, charming voice came through the receiver,
"Master, you finally remembered me, I thought you had forgotten about me."
Lloyd smiled slightly, answering, "Stussy, how could I forget you? How is your work in CP0 going?"
"Because Master supports me from behind, things are going very well, and I'm close to a promotion."
"Good, that is because your ability is strong, I actually have an achievement for you."
"Achievement means nothing to me, I just want to be transferred back to serve next to Master as soon as possible."
"Don't worry, it will happen. This achievement is enough for several promotions in CP0. Report it to the higher‑ups, just say it has been confirmed that the expedition team Olvia, the scholar from Ohara, is part of, is studying forbidden history."
There was a brief silence on the other end, then Stussy said slowly,
"My Master, that is indeed a significant achievement, but is there any evidence?"
"You don't need proof. Just report it to your superiors, and don't worry about anything else."
"Understood, Master, I will do as you say, and thank you. Be sure to let Stussy serve Master well the next time we meet."
"En, I look forward to it."
Click.
A teasing kiss sound came through the Den Den Mushi before the call ended. Lloyd's mouth curved in a slight smile as he hung up, then closed his eyes, leaning back in the chair, entering a state of feigned sleep.
The next day, shocking news arrived from the World Government. This time it wasn't just paper orders — the Five Elders personally summoned Kong and gave a strict command: Immediately dispatch forces to arrest Olvia, and if there is resistance, execute her and her group on the spot.
The crime Olvia and those Ohara scholars were accused of was: Attempting to destroy the world.
Kong didn't understand how scholars might destroy the world, but the terrifying authority in the Elders' tone left no room for debate. He immediately ordered a massive naval deployment to search for Olvia's ship.
Once the Navy is mobilized, locating a vessel on the sea is not difficult. But strangely, the person who ultimately pinpointed Olvia's exact location wasn't a fleet commander — it was Ginny.
Her communication technology skills were unmatched, she once decoded World Government Den Den Mushi signals back on God Valley, so it made sense that she was able to track movement again.
Within a day, Olvia and the other thirty‑three scholars were found, arrested, and taken in for judgment. The ones who captured them were Admiral Kizaru and kuma.
It turned out to be quite a coincidence. Dr. Vegapunk had mentioned before that Kizaru and kuma often drifted around the base together when they were bored, becoming a sort of "street bum" pair.
And extremely luckily for the Navy, the spot where Olvia's ship was located was somewhere both Kizaru and kuma had been recently. Using his ability, kuma transported himself and Kizaru instantly, no fleet needed, and they managed to seize Olvia and her group without opposition.
During their capture, Olvia and the others didn't resist, as if they had anticipated this outcome. But the real reason was that Olvia recognized Kizaru and kuma immediately. The two were infamous figures, and she knew they were Navy Supernovas like Lloyd. More importantly, she knew Kizaru was a Logia user. Having seen Lloyd's strength already, she knew resistance was futile.
However, just as she was being taken in, Olvia looked up at Kizaru and asked quietly,
"Where is Lloyd now? Is he coming to arrest me too?"
Kizaru was holding the Den Den Mushi, preparing to report in. Hearing this made him freeze for a moment, frowning,
"You know Lloyd?"
Olvia nodded softly,
"You could say that."
Kizaru's frown deepened. He told kuma to watch over Olvia's group before walking a short distance away and switching to a smaller Den Den Mushi — one linked to Lloyd's personal line.
He dialed directly.
"Lloyd, the woman named Olvia has been captured!" Kizaru reported immediately.
Lloyd was silent for a moment, thinking Kizaru was bragging, and laughed politely,
"That's great, congratulations Borsalino, this is a major achievement."
Kizaru's voice, however, was unusually serious. He ignored the praise and spoke in a deep tone,
"Lloyd, have you had contact with this woman? I need you to tell me the truth."
Lloyd blinked, then answered honestly,
"Yes, I've had contact with her, but…"
"Okay, I understand," Kizaru cut in before Lloyd could explain further.
His voice was tense, filled with a chilling intensity. Lloyd's mind went blank — was he talking with Kizaru or Admiral Akainu?
Still, he didn't have time to think further as Kizaru sounded like he was about to hang up and start blasting at Olvia and the scholars.
Lloyd pressed on,
"Wait, why would you want to kill them, wouldn't capturing them alive be a bigger achievement?"
There was a pause, then Kizaru spoke earnestly,
"Lloyd, don't you understand the crime this woman committed? Anyone connected to her will be implicated, even if you are an Admiral, you'll be affected. Don't worry, only kuma and I know about this right now, but you can be sure they have to be eliminated."
"Stop, wait for me!"
