Chapter 3 - Yukikaze's Little Scheme

Although Shiranui and Yatsu Murasaki had previously sensed that Yukito Mizuki's body contained a power completely different from magic or anti-demon factors, and had heard him mention Chakra as a power system distinct from magic and anti-demon factors, they still weren't certain what abilities he had mastered. They wondered whether it merely enhanced his physical strength, power, and speed.

Seeing Yukito quickly form hand seals and then create a clone almost identical to himself, they couldn't help but exclaim in surprise, their gazes filled with curiosity and scrutiny.

Among the Anti-Demon Ninjas, there were naturally those skilled in using clones. For example, Shiranui Mizuki, who had awakened Water Release Ninjutsu, once held the title of "Phantom" and specialized in creating numerous mirror clones with Water Release techniques to confuse enemies.

However, the clone Yukito Mizuki had just created possessed a true physical body, the same strength as the original, and even an identical aura.

"Onii-chan, can you teach me the clone technique you just used?"

"That clone technique actually creates a physical body and is completely indistinguishable from the original. If I could use it to replace me at school and even during daily training, that would be absolutely perfect!"

When Shiranui Mizuki and Yatsu Murasaki witnessed Yukito Mizuki's Shadow Clone Technique, they immediately thought about how much it could reduce the risks involved in infiltration missions and dangerous operations.

Yukikaze, however, only thought about learning this Ninjutsu so that her clone could attend classes and complete her daily Anti-Demon Ninja training in her place.

"The Shadow Clone Technique isn't without limitations, and I'm not even sure whether someone without Chakra can learn this Ninjutsu."

"Even if you can learn it, it's best not to use it casually."

"You want a clone to attend school for you? That's probably impossible. It would be exposed sooner or later."

Yukito glanced at Yukikaze, who had somehow sneaked up beside him and was now hugging his arm while acting spoiled. A helpless smile appeared on his lips as he put the kunai back into his system inventory, raised his free hand, and lightly flicked her forehead with his index finger.

He didn't know whether it was because his transmigration into this world had coincidentally saved Shiranui from being ambushed and captured by demons, preventing her disappearance, or because he had lived with Shiranui and Yukikaze in the Mizuki household for so many years and spoiled his non-blood-related little sister too much, causing her to become heavily dependent on him.

Since she no longer needed to search for a missing mother and had a caring Onii-chan at home who handled almost all the trivial matters of daily life, Yukikaze had never developed a strong obsession with becoming stronger.

Compared to the Yukikaze Mizuki from the Anti-Demon Ninja adult animations he had watched before transmigrating, her current strength was probably somewhat weaker.

"The Shadow Clone has a physical body, but once it suffers severe damage, it will disappear, returning all physical exhaustion, and memories to the original."

"In theory, using Multiple Shadow Clones for training can increase training speed many times over. However, once the clones disappear, the original body will also receive the accumulated fatigue and exhaustion."

Moreover, compared to the S-rank forbidden Shadow Clone Technique from the Naruto world, the version Yukito Mizuki had obtained through the system was clearly different.

The clones he created resembled emotionless puppets that could only rigidly carry out orders.

After Yukito finished explaining all the weaknesses and drawbacks of the Shadow Clone Technique, he looked at Yukikaze, Shiranui, Rinko, and the others. Rather than diminishing, their enthusiasm had grown even stronger after learning that the memories and training experience of the Shadow Clones would return to the original body when they disappeared.

After pausing for two seconds, Yukito continued,

"If you want to learn it, I can teach you how to refine Chakra and the Shadow Clone Technique after this mission. However, I can't guarantee that you'll be able to master them."

Yukito also wanted to test whether others could learn the various Ninjutsu from Naruto world. After all, according to the setting of the Naruto series, although Chakra was formed from the balance of spiritual energy and physical energy, its origin ultimately came from the Divine Tree's fruit.

Yukito Mizuki wasn't sure whether the Chakra granted by his cheat possessed any subtle differences from the Chakra of the Naruto world. Since Yukikaze and the others wanted to learn Ninjutsu, he might as well use this opportunity to test whether they could actually master it.

"Yukito-chan, besides the clone technique you just used, do you have any other abilities?"

"If you want to join us in exterminating demons and monsters, then with only that clone ability, you could at most handle intelligence gathering and infiltration missions."

"Aunt Shiranui, if you want to know what other abilities I currently possess, why not leave the remaining demons in this Abandoned Hospital to me?"

Yukito Mizuki didn't answer her question directly. Instead, he merely smiled, turned around, and walked deeper into the hospital.

The Abandoned Hospital occupied a vast area and stood four stories tall. Naturally, the demons and monsters hiding inside weren't limited to the few demons and tentacle monsters they had encountered earlier.

Before Yukito Mizuki even had a chance to act, the demons and tentacle monsters in the previous room had already been effortlessly eliminated by Shiranui and Yatsu Murasaki.

Yukito Mizuki didn't want to remain a spectator and leave the remaining enemies entirely to them.

To him, these demons and monsters were all precious experience points.

"Oh my, I'm looking forward to your performance, Yukito-chan."

Shiranui Mizuki watched Yukito's retreating figure as he headed deeper into the Abandoned Hospital. A trace of satisfaction flashed in her eyes, and she couldn't help but smile.

At the same time, she looked toward her daughter, Yukikaze. Seeing how relaxed she appeared and how she lacked even the slightest vigilance despite being inside a demon hideout, she frowned and reprimanded her with a soft snort.

"Yukikaze, since you've chosen the same path as me and become an Anti-Demon Ninja, you must remain serious and cautious when carrying out missions."

"You've become far too lax since Yukito-chan appeared."

"You don't look like someone capable of protecting little Yukito. Rather, you look like someone waiting for little Yukito to protect you."

"This mission was originally an assessment for you, so stop spacing out."

"When we encounter demons later, I want to see the results of your training over the past few days."

After being scolded by her mother, Yukikaze didn't dare talk back. She simply acknowledged her words and silently hurried after the Onii-chan walking ahead.

In Yukikaze's eyes, if Onii-chan was stronger than she was, then there was nothing wrong with accepting his protection rather than protecting him herself.

Thinking about it carefully, the reason she had become so poor at taking care of herself over the years was because Onii-chan had spoiled her too much, practically raising her into someone incapable of living independently.

Yukikaze had already decided that if she could never leave Onii-chan in the future, then she would simply marry him and become his bride.

After all, they weren't related by blood, and now that she knew Yukito wasn't just an ordinary person without any power, many of her worries had disappeared.

The only thing she remained uncertain about was Onii-chan's feelings.

After all, Yukikaze didn't know whether he only regarded her as a little sister or whether there was even the slightest trace of romantic affection mixed in.

She always felt that compared to her, Onii-chan preferred mature women like her mother.

Yukikaze Mizuki lowered her head and glanced at her own chest, which was as flat as a plain. Then, she secretly glanced at her mother and Rinko behind her. Looking at their generous figures that seemed ready to burst out of their clothes at any moment, a trace of envy and jealousy flashed through her eyes.

Remembering that she was currently carrying out a subjugation mission inside the Abandoned Hospital, Yukikaze quickly shook away those distracting thoughts, and determination returned to her eyes.

As for matters concerning Onii-chan, she would think about them after they returned home. Right now, the most important thing was to eliminate the demons lurking inside the hospital.

She wanted Onii-chan to witness her heroic and cool side when fighting demons. Perhaps then he would discover a side of her completely different from her usual self—and maybe he would fall for her.

On the first floor of the Abandoned Hospital, as Yukito, Yukikaze, and Rinko continued moving deeper, they encountered several waves of demons one after another.

Most of these demons weren't particularly strong, and they were scattered throughout various rooms.

Without any assistance from Shiranui and Yatsu Murasaki, the three of them only needed about half an hour to eliminate the thirty or so low-level demons hiding on the first floor.

"Rinko and little Yukito both performed very well, but why does little Yukito seem to possess so much combat experience?"

"Although Yukikaze still lacks experience, she can barely be considered qualified."

After Yukito, Yukikaze, and Akiyama Rinko had eliminated all the demons on the first floor, Shiranui Mizuki stepped forward and carefully checked the three of them. Only after confirming that none of them had been injured did she breathe a sigh of relief and comment on their performance.

"I can sense stronger demons on the second and third floors, so don't let your guard down."

"Our mission this time is to eliminate every demon inside this Abandoned Hospital."

After warning them several times, Shiranui Mizuki turned around and led the group toward the second floor.
