They stood inside a massive underground cavern.
Dark stone walls stretched in every direction.
Blue crystals grew from the ground and ceiling, casting faint light across the enormous chamber.
Water dripped somewhere in the distance.
The air smelled damp.
And beneath the silence was something else.
A low growl.
The seven slowly turned their heads.
West stood several meters ahead of them.
His eyes were already scanning the darkness.
Then—
A pair of glowing eyes appeared between the rocks.
Then another.
Then another.
Dozens of them.
The seven instinctively moved closer together.
West didn't move.
A faint smile appeared on his face.
"Your first lesson."
The creatures emerged from the darkness.
Large, wolf-like beasts with black hides and jagged claws.
