Aiden's pov
Instead of waking up in bed with Adrian curled up next to me I wake up in floating in complete darkness there is nothing but void all around me no sound no light no way of knowing how much time it's been nothing, instead of being afraid and fearing the darkness surprisingly I feel safe and comforted like this was a special place to me like home suddenly I see a huge pair of eyes with blue mist and steam coming out of them in the darkness stareing straight at me.
???: "I will see you soon master" *I hear a deep voice say to me the sound of the voice coming from all directions at me*
I then snap my eyes open and find myself back in my bedroom Adrian still curled up next to me, I try to firgue out what was that weird dream but decided to dismiss it for now at least I notice that the sunlight stream shines on Adrian's face he scrutchs his nose up slightly and whines I quickly block the sunlight from disturbing his sleep by raising the blanket up, I watch his sleeping firgue smiling I never thought having a twin brother would make me feel this affection and happiness perhaps it's because I never had anyone to love me or give anyone my love that I feel so attached to Adrian this way.
Who ever sent me here I really am thankfull to them, I quietly slip out of the covers and off my bed making sure Adrian is still asleep I walk over to my bathroom and take a bath and get ready since it's already 7am, after I finshed getting ready I see Adrian begins to wake up and he sees me and smiles happily I walk over to him "did you sleep well" I ask him as I sit down next to him on the bed and pat his head.
Adrian: "Yes I slept very comfortably brother thank you" *Adrian hugs me tightly*
I chuckle and hug him back we both hear a knock at the door and turn towards the door.
Nathalie: "Aiden it's breakfast time please come downstairs and also help Adrian get ready".
I hear Nathalie say from the door surprised she knew Adrian was with me but then again she knows everything "okay Natalie we will both come down in a few minutes" I reply back to her as I hear her footsteps walk away, I help Adrian get ready and then we both head downstairs and of course Gabriel is no where to be seen typical honestly at this point he might as well put us both up for adoption.
Adrian and I both take a seat at the table next to each other as I scan and look at all the food on the table and pick fill my plate with some fruit and three pancakes and pour myself a glass of orange juice I look over to Adrian and see he does the same thing we then start to eat and of course we have to eat the proper gentlemen way no elbows on the table no slouching and we have to eat with a knife and fork I mean seriously who forces a child to eat with a knife and fork but I can't really complain or say anything since it would be weird if I say anything since the og Aiden never minded it.
Adrian: "Nathalie where is my father he promised he would come down for breakfast" *Adrian asks Nathalie with a sad expression on his face*
Nathalie: "I'm sorry Adrian you know your father is a busy man but he loves you and Aiden both so much".
Nathalie tries to comfort Adrian but nothing can replace that feeling in your heart when you know that your parent has no care for you and I speak from experience my past parents didn't even bother coming downstairs it was always just work that was important for them honestly if they love their work so much why decide to have children if you know you are not up for the challenge and won't have any time for them at that point you are just wanting to ruin their lives on purpose.
I look over at Adrian and put a comforting hand on his shoulder and smile softly at him as he tries to give me one back but can only muster a half smile, we continue eating as I chat with Adrian even tho we are not meant to speak when we are eating I don't care and gave Nathalie a sharp glare that instantly shut her up guess she is scared of me perhaps she was always scared of Aiden because all of Aiden's memories she didn't force a lot of things on him as much as she does on Adrian as well as Gabriel never pushed Aiden too much perhaps because they knew how Aiden was and decided to let him live a little.
After breakfast Adrian and I both walk out of the dinning area as Adrian and I both have studies to do but I decided to help him since I already finshed my high school work and am doing university work already so I decided to help Adrian with his homework, we both enter my room together as Adrian opens his text books and he starts studying as I help him with parts he does not understand.
One full day goes by as Adrian and I did our fencing classes our piano classes which was both draining because these things are something no 6 year old should be forced to do especially if they are not into these things, I decided to sign up for some martial arts class although Nathalie heistated at first one cold look from me made her change her mind and sign me up I also forced her to let Adrian join me since we normally do everything together, after Adrian and I come back from our martial classes we then notice some new people in the living area and I instantly recognise them as Audrey Bourgeois and André Bourgeois.
Adrian and I walk in further as Gabriel introduces Adrian and I to the two of them as we both sit down next to Gabriel as he and Audrey and Andre discuss some things although I'm not sure why they are here it's actually a good thing with this I can build a good connection with the mayor himself although he is not really a mayor that everyone respects since he is always so awkward and does not really seem to fit the mayor role I can still use his power.
I then notice a familiar character but much younger and it's none other then Chloe Bourgeois the major antagonist in the miraculous show although as I would like to call her a broken character reason why I call her that is because she really is just a broken character that the authors of the show just made her seem like such a villain even tho yes she did bully people and think of people as beneath her but the authors never really went into full detail of how her life really want, she never got attention or love from her mother through her childhood she always looked up to her mother as well but her mother never even spared her a ounce of attention and her father I don't really know about him but I would assume he didn't have much time for her as he was the mayor.
I need to change the storyline of Chloe Bourgeois she could of had a major redemption ark but the authors never gave her one something she absolutely deserved but now I will give her one, it seems she is not that bratty and spoiled since she still seems kid like and innocent which probably means she has not gotten to the point of being heartless and spoiled yet.
I motion for Adrian to follow me over to Chloe as he nods his head and we walk over to where she is sitting and I sit on her left and Adrian sits on her right as Adrian gives a warm and bright smile as I give her a calm but friendly smile "hey there my name is Aiden Agreste it's nice to meet you" I say as Adrian also introduces himself to her.
Adrian: "and my name is Adrian Agreste we both are twin brother's what is your name" *Adrian asks Chloe with a cheerful voice cleary happy to make a friend *
Chloe: "Oh my name is Chloe Bourgeois it's nice to meet you Aiden and Adrian" *Chloe says with a soft childlike smile on her face as she shakes both our hands*
Gabriel allows us to go to my room to play together we quickly walk upstairs and walk into my room and I find some toys and we start playing well mostly Adrian and Chloe and I just watched them I then noticed that Chloe seemed a bit down and Adrian also noticed this.
Adrian: "Chloe what's wrong why do you look so down all of the sudden" "Adrian asks cutely with genuine concern for his new found friend*
Chloe: "Oh uh it's no-no-nothing yeah nothing at all" *Chloe says as she stutters clearly not telling the truth*
Adrian and I look at each other and nod as I turn to Chloe "Chloe you can tell us what's wrong we are your friends are we not" I say to Chloe as she looks at Adrian and I both with slight tears in her eyes and she nods her head as she sniffs a little bit and wipes her tears away as she finally calms down.
Chloe: "it's my birthday coming up soon and I really wanted a special day with just my parents but they don't really seem to hear me or care my mommy says she has no time for that and my daddy says he can't because he is the mayor and is busy and he will just throw me a big huge party and invite loads of people who I don't even know and are just a bunch of adult people with their kids I don't know and they try to force us to be friends because I am the mayors daughter and they will get benifits if their kids are friends with me".
Adrian and I listen as Chloe explains her situation as Adrian and I both feel sympathetic for her and Adrian hugs her as I pat her head, gosh why are there so many broken characters in this tv show is this not supposed to be a kids show why is this so sad honestly who can do this to their own child they just think they can throw their money at their child and think it will make them happy I swear Chloe's parents are just like Gabriel honestly once again some people are just not meant to be parents why be one when you don't have the time for them.
After a while of comforting Chloe we resume back to playing with toys well only Adrian and Chloe continue to play while I am reading a book, after a couple of hours Chloe has to leave but not before Chloe promises us that she will visit again we then wave to her goodbye and the day all most comes to an end Adrian sleeps with me again and just like that another day passes by.
As Adrian and I are falling asleep I don't notice that in the concer of my room there is a shadow that takes form of a black cat with blue mist as it's eyes as it just starts at me in the dark watching me sleep.
???: "hello my master I have finally found you after so long"
The next morning
I wake up the very next morning and go through my dad breakfast studies lunch fencing classes then piano and martial arts class but today is different since today is the day I will be making my move by having connections in this world, I have asked Gabriel to take me with him to a meeting to meet the mayor again and other important figures although at first he was confused on why I would want to go he didn't see the problem and agreed I quickly get ready in a formal but also casual style of clothes.
I walk downstairs and walk with Gabriel to the limo that's parked out in front and hop in as Gabriel gets in behind me as he buckeles himself and I do the same as the driver starts the vehicle and we are off to the meeting location, we arrive at the location it's a tall building with security guards guarding the front doors as me and Gabriel walk in side by side the guards nod at Gabriel in respect as the sliding glass doors open up and we enter the building.
We go to the front desk as the lady there guided us to the room on the third floor and she takes us to one of the many rooms on the floor and we walk in I then notice someone who looks exactly like my mother Émilie and a boy is seated next to her who looks just like Adrian and I but just with his hair slicked back and I recognize them from the funeral of my mother and the tv show the woman is Amélie Graham de Vanily the twin sister of my mother and my aunty and the boy is her son Félix Graham de Vanily my first cousin.
Gabriel walks over to them as I follow him and he greets the both of them and I do the same "good evening aunt Amélie and Felix" I bow respectfully to my aunt Amélie and nod my head towards my cousin Felix.
Amelia: "oh my you have grown so much Aiden in the last few months I have seen you" *she says pulling my cheeks with a smile on her face*
Gabriel and my aunt discuss some things before the meeting with the others begin, while Felix and I start to talk to each other both of us are quite similar in personality with a sharp and intelligent mind we both get along very well I also know that Felix in the tv show was one of the smart characters along side Lila he managed to steal all the miraculous unlike Gabriel who kept failing miserably.
I need to bring Felix on my side because his family has connections especially his father who is still alive unlike in the show they never talked mu he about Felix's father or gave a full background of what happened but since it's still years before the plot is happening Felix's father is still alive and well.
After Felix and I are done chatting the other people began to fill the room and the meeting starts, finally after hours the meeting ended I managed to also obtain some good connections with a few powerful people and Felix and I are now much closer I have also found out that Felix's dad does not give him much attention similar to how Gabriel does not to Adrian and I because he is a billionaire and a well known figure Felix's dad is all around the world and has no time for Felix only Felix's mother aunt Amelia makes time for her son.
Felix really opened up to me about his whole life and how he is inspired to be like his father he just wishes his father would pay more attention to him, honestly it feels like I'm adopting broken people at this point first it's Adrian then it's Chloe and now it's Felix am I some sort of caretaker that takes care of broken kids, anyways now I have some more connections in this world I can focus on some other things.
As we finally arrive back home I hop out of the car as I completely ignore Gabriel and nod a greeting at Nathalie and walk upstairs to my room and enter as I see Adrian is already on my bed falling asleep, I cover him up with my blanket and walk to my window and look out at the moon I then close my windows and was about to close the curtains when suddenly I see in the reflection of my window a black cat and whip my head around.
Right in the corner of my room is a cat but not a normal one it's body is like made of shadow like a shadow has taken form of a cat it has blue mist in the shape of eyes, it just stares at me I quickly look over to Adrian's form laying in bed and walk over and stand in front of the bed protectively even tho I know I don't have any powers or any magic to protect myself or Adrian but I definitely won't do nothing, I glare at the shadow cat as it walks slowly out of the darkness.
???: "greetings my master I have finally found you after so many decades".
My eyes widen when the shadow cat talks "you can talk....Who are you or what are you" I ask as I try to calm my racing heart.
