Canglong flung the Sea King onto the shore, dropping it right in front of Raptorex.

With that, a glint of pride flashed in Canglong's eyes before it dove back into the ocean.
Raptorex's lips curved slightly.
"This guy…"
"Raptorex! Raptorex!"
At that moment, Wyper came running out, shouting excitedly.
"Hm?" Raptorex lowered his head to look at him, letting out a deep rumble.
Wyper held up the Devil Fruit in his hands, staring at him in excitement. "Raptorex, is this the Devil Fruit the captain talked about?"
A hint of surprise flickered in Raptorex's eyes. He hadn't expected them to actually find a Devil Fruit—their luck was impressive.
He nodded. "That's a Devil Fruit."
"We found it beside a rabbit den," Wyper said with a grin.
Just then, Kamakiri came out as well, carrying two rabbits and a boar.
"Hold on to that Devil Fruit for now. Ask the captain before making any decisions."
"Mm-hmm, I'll call him right now."
Wyper quickly pulled out the Den Den Mushi.
He had always been fascinated by Devil Fruits—back in the Blue Sea, he'd already heard of these mysterious treasures that granted extraordinary powers.
Once you ate one, you could grow stronger quickly—much faster than training through hard work.

The Den Den Mushi began ringing.
Soon, the snail formed into Jiang Qize's face.
"What is it?" Jiang Qize's calm voice came through.
"Captain, we found a Devil Fruit!" Wyper said excitedly.
"Oh?" Jiang Qize sounded mildly surprised.
He hadn't expected them to stumble upon one as well.
"Where are you right now?"
"Captain, we don't know exactly… we're on an island shaped like a ship."
"An island shaped like a ship? Warship Island?"
Jiang Qize raised an eyebrow, startled.
How did they end up there? Warship Island wasn't even in the Grand Line.
"Maybe…?" Wyper had never seen Warship Island before and could only answer vaguely.
"If it's Warship Island, then that Devil Fruit is the Whisper-Whisper Fruit. After eating it, you can hear anything any living being says, and you can whisper to animals. Not very practical."
Jiang Qize spoke quietly.
"Ah…"
Wyper's excitement deflated instantly.
He didn't want something like that—he wanted a Fruit that would make him stronger.
"Just hang on to it. There are plenty of Devil Fruits in the world, no need to rush for this one."
"Yes, Captain."
"Good. Since you're on that island, have Canglong check the waters around it and see what he finds… And on that island, there should be a dragon. Catch it—alive."
"Yes, Captain."
According to legend, eating a Millennium Dragon granted longevity, maybe even immortality. He wasn't sure if that was true, but he wanted to test whether it could be recycled.
He wasn't certain whether a Millennium Dragon could become a dinosaur-type Fruit.
After all, Millennium Dragons weren't part of the dinosaur family.
If it didn't work, he'd just use it for synthesis.
After giving his orders, he hung up.
"Sigh, this Fruit doesn't suit me."
Wyper put away the Den Den Mushi, shaking his head.
"Then we'll just find another one. The captain said Devil Fruits are everywhere on the sea. With Raptorex's strength, he can pick up a few dozen without trying."
Kamakiri laughed.
Raptorex looked at him, glanced down, let out a small smile, and said nothing.
With his strength, anywhere a Devil Fruit appeared, he would naturally be able to take it—this was one of the tasks he'd come down for, after all.
