Chapter 131: The Giant Warrior Pirates Set Sail
"Just looking at the basic stats, the Wind God seems stronger. And it hasn't even fused with a Devil Fruit yet."
Rubbing his chin, Jiang Qize murmured to himself.
With Heart Network combined with Voice of All Things, the Wind God Pterosaur was absurdly powerful. Nothing within ten kilometers could escape its Observation Haki. And it already had Wind Eyes, allowing it to see targets within a hundred thousand meters.
What target could possibly flee from it? Its speed was no joke—maybe not quite on par with the Mosasaurus in the sea, but not far behind.
And it could fly, bypassing all obstacles.
That combination was simply perfect.
Even he felt a little jealous.
After all, he currently had no special abilities at all.
"Sigh… a man with nothing but good looks—guess that's me."
He muttered lazily.
Still, this round of enhancements had boosted his stats a bit more, though he still hadn't reached admiral level—only the peak of vice admiral.
"I should go make some arrangements."
He murmured as he stood and walked outside.
...
Elbaf Village.
Boom! Boom! Boom…
Explosions thundered across the island, sending flocks of birds and beasts fleeing in panic.
One towering giant after another emerged from within the village.
Each giant wore massive leather armor, helmets strapped on, weapons and shields clutched in their hands, radiating a fierce and commanding presence.
At their front were the two captains of the Giant Warrior Pirates, Dorry and Brogy.
"Captain, the ships are ready!" the giant Sikai ran over, grinning at Dorry and the others.
"Ding-hihihihi… then let's set off! It's time to restore the glory of the Giant Warrior Pirates!"
Dorry roared with laughter, raising the enormous greatsword in his hand.
"Ohhhh—!!"
Behind him, the giants lifted their weapons and shouted, their voices shaking the sky.
They marched to the shore, where two enormous wooden ships awaited them. Each vessel stretched a hundred meters long, its mast bearing a massive flag marked with a greatsword and battle axe crossed behind a skull.
"Board the ships!"
Dorry bellowed.
"Yes, Captain!"
Thirty giants shouted in unison, climbing aboard—fifteen per ship.
Dorry and Brogy each boarded a ship, taking positions at the bow, their capes fluttering in the wind.
"Ding-hihihihi…"
"Kababa…"
"Set off!"
A deafening shout erupted.
Whooosh!
Huge sails unfurled. A strong gust of wind filled them, and the two giant-laden ships slowly began moving, heading toward the boundless sea.
…
Two hours later.
A stretch of white, misty ocean.
Aboard the two ships of the Giant Warrior Pirates, Dorry and Brogy looked at each other across the distance, nodding.
"Ding-hihihihi… everyone, gather."
Dorry called out to the giants resting idly along the railings.
"Captain Dorry, are we having a feast?"
"Yeah, going out to sea is so boring…"
One after another, the giants shouted complaints.
Most of them had just reached adulthood. Having never sailed before, two hours on the sea had already drained all novelty from them.
Naturally, they were bored.
And there was no one to fight.
"Ding-hihihihi… we'll have a feast soon. But first…"
Dorry grinned and pulled out a tiny finger-sized box from his coat, flipping it open.
He poured its contents into his palm.
"One for each of you. After you've eaten them, we'll start the feast…"
Dorry told them, looking at the gathered giants.
