Chapter 108: Garp Sets Out
"Let the Navy handle this."
"Agreed."
Their decision was made.
...
Navy Headquarters.
Bang!!
A deafening crash erupted inside the office.
Kong shot to his feet, his face extremely grim.
Click…
The door opened, and Garp walked in.
"What's got our Fleet Admiral so worked up?" Garp flashed a row of white teeth as he laughed.
"The Dragonflame Pirates' ship is suspected to be Pluton. The World Gov·ernment wants us to send an Admiral to hunt them down!"
Kong took a deep breath and spoke in a low, heavy voice.
"Pluton…"
The careless grin on Garp's face faded.
As one of the old-generation powerhouses, he naturally understood what Pluton was. That thing involved events from eight hundred years ago.
There was a good reason the Five Elders were so wary of it.
Kong stared at Garp.
"Why are you looking at me? They said to send an Admiral. I'm not an Admiral. I'm just a humble Vice Admiral."
Garp quickly raised his hands.
He had zero interest in something like this.
"One month of vacation!"
Kong pulled out his trump card.
"Two months." Garp immediately countered.
"A month and a half. Not a day more. Otherwise I'll send Sengoku."
Kong waved dismissively and spoke coldly.
"…Fine." Garp sighed.
But in his mind, he was already celebrating—another month and a half of rest.
"Right now the Dragonflame Pirates are on Jaya Island in the Grand Line. If you can't capture him, kill him. He must not escape."
Kong said sternly.
He was now paying close attention to Summoner Ze. For someone to stir up so much chaos and grow so powerful in such a short time…
And they had no intel on him—not even what his ability was.
"Yeah, yeah."
Garp waved lazily.
He was one of the strongest men alive. The one who chased the Pirate King across the seas. There weren't many in this world qualified to be his enemy.
...
Jiang Qize had no idea he'd already caught the attention of the World Goverment. Right now, he had arrived at Ba Wang's laboratory.
Click.
He opened the door. Inside the massive room were rows of crude machines—but Ba Wang was nowhere in sight.
Jiang Qize focused his thoughts.
Hum—
Observation Haki swept outward, instantly covering the entire Dragonflame and pinpointing Ba Wang's location.
He headed deeper into the ship.
On the lowest deck level, he found him.
Ba Wang was tinkering with something.
"Ba Wang, how's it going?"
Jiang Qize asked softly as he stepped behind him.
Ba Wang stopped and stood up.
"I made some adjustments to the propulsion system. I added an auxiliary booster under the Dragonflame. It can use the force of the Knock-Up Stream to push us upward. That way, the ascent will be dozens of times easier, and the ship won't fall from its own weight."
Ba Wang explained.
"Good. When will it be ready?"
Jiang Qize didn't understand any of this. If Ba Wang said it worked, then it worked.
"Probably by tonight."
"Alright."
...
Meanwhile, Camon, Little Robin, Buck, Aisha, and the little monkey disembarked.
The moment they stepped off the ship, they were surrounded.
At the front stood the Kimo Pirates.
More people began closing in from all sides.
"Well, well, well… what a fine prize you've brought me." Kimo let out a twisted laugh as he looked at them.
Buck instantly flew into a rage—this guy dared eye his wife?
But Aisha grabbed his arm.
"Why are you stopping me, honey? He looked at you like that—I'm killing him…" Buck looked at her in confusion.
"Husband… he was looking at you."
Aisha glanced at Kimo as she spoke.
