Chapter 103 - Chapter 103: The Ship Is Complete

Chapter 103: The Ship Is Complete

On a deserted coastline in Alabasta, a massive structure had appeared at some point, its walls formed from enormous blocks of stone.

Inside it, little Robin sat in a chair reading.

With the Ba wang gone, she finally had a rare moment to rest.

"Robin, someone's here to see you."

Celine appeared then, walking up to her with a smile.

"Here to see me?"

Robin blinked her big eyes, confusion written all over her face.

"Mm. He said his name is Pica."

"Ah…"

Robin's face immediately fell.

Why is he here…? Oh no… if the captain finds out, won't he s—hit me?

"What's wrong, Robin?" Celine asked curiously.

"N-nothing… Where is he?" Robin asked nervously.

"He's in Rainbase. Do you want to go see him?"

"See who?"

The Ba wang walked in just then, those eyes of his—formed entirely from pure intellect—resting calmly on them.

"N-no one…" Robin shook her head quickly.

The Ba wang looked at her, and Robin lowered her head.

A few seconds later—

"Then keep working," he said as he shifted his gaze away.

"Okay."

Before them stood a steel-forged ship so tall it resembled a mountain. Compared to it, they were as tiny as ants.

But the ship's interior was still empty.

The Ba wang stepped aboard and immediately went back to work.

Clang, clang, clang—

Soon, the sharp ring of metal striking metal echoed throughout the place.

The great Raptorex took on the role of porter, hauling load after load inside.

Robin also used the Flower-Flower Fruit to help carry things.

Time passed quickly.

One month later—

Dragonflame's construction base.

Rumble!!

Two colossal Quetzalcoatlus swooped down from the sky, blocking out the sun as raging winds howled around them.

They landed slowly.

Jiang Qize and Crocodile each stood atop one of the giant creatures.

Over the past month—

He had summoned a Quetzalcoatlus for Crocodile as well, though he hadn't strengthened it to rear admiral level. He hadn't enhanced its Haki—neither Armament nor Observation.

So Crocodile's Quetzalcoatlus didn't have much intelligence and could only follow simple commands.

During this month, he had also gradually taken control of Baroque Works. All the senior agents had eaten dinosaur fruits.

Because of him, their power had soared, which in turn strengthened the organization and drew in even more people.

At the entrance of the simple construction base—

The Ba wang and all members of the Dragonflame Pirates were gathered, Ba wang standing at the front.

He wasn't the strongest among them—

But his intellect was unquestionably the greatest, and leading them was effortless.

"Sir."

Then Ba wang bowed his head slightly to Jiang Qize.

"Captain!"

Robin, Camon, and the others called out excitedly.

For more than a month, they had worked nonstop, crafting a ship that would truly belong to them.

Watching it gradually take shape had filled them with pride.

"Mm. Let's go in."

Jiang Qize nodded lightly.

It was finally done. He had poured all his money into this vessel. After waiting more than a month, his warship was ready to meet the world.

"Yes, sir."

Boom!

The rough, heavy gate of the base swung open.

Everyone walked inside.

The moment they entered, a burst of golden light washed over their faces, dazzling and bright.

Crocodile stared at the scene before him, eyes nearly bulging out, filled with sheer disbelief.
