Chapter 46 - Chapter 46: The Recycling Function

Chapter 46: The Recycling Function

[Host]: Jiang Qize

[Age]: 18

[Rank]: Marine Headquarters — Lieutenant Junior Grade

[Berries]: 3,000,000

[Abilities]: Conqueror's Haki (Trait: Subjugation), Armament Haki, Observation Haki

[Summon], [Enhance], [Synthesize], [Recycle]

[Recycle]: Recycle ancient dragon-type creatures from this world to create Dinosaur Fruits. Eating a Dinosaur Fruit grants the ability to transform into that specific dinosaur species, while also binding the creature's loyalty to the host. (Can be synthesized; cannot be enhanced.)

When Jiang Qize read this new system feature, a bright grin spread across his face. This function was brilliant.

"This is just like artificial Devil Fruits — no, even better!"

The only downside was that he couldn't use system enhancement on these fruits. The user would have to grow stronger through their own efforts or rely on synthesis.

Still, overall, it was more than worth it.

"I wonder what other features the system's still hiding… I can't wait to find out," Jiang Qize said cheerfully, eyes glinting with anticipation.

He then stepped outside.

Since such an incredible new feature had just unlocked, it was only natural to test it out — and Little Garden was crawling with dinosaurs, many even larger than his Tyrannosaurus and Raptorex.

"Let's go. Time to head inland."

The group began their trek into the island known as the Land of Pangu.

"Roar~!"

Suddenly, a tiger's roar echoed through the jungle.

Boom!

A massive black shadow landed before them, radiating a savage, oppressive aura.

It was a saber-toothed tiger — three meters tall, six meters long, with two long, blade-like fangs gleaming coldly in the light. Its golden eyes radiated dominance and killing intent.

Clang!

Before Jiang Qize could even speak, Raptorex's arm transformed into a several-meter-long blade. He took one powerful step forward and swung.

"Roooar—!"

The saber-toothed tiger lunged to meet him head-on.

Splat!

A massive tiger's head flew through the air, landing upright in the soil a moment later.

Blood sprayed everywhere — but Tyrannosaurus roared mightily, "Roaaar!"

The shockwave from his roar blasted the blood mist away, not a single drop touching anyone.

Raptorex flicked the remaining blood from his blade and retracted his arm to normal.

Then he turned to Jiang Qize. "Sir, this meat will strengthen us."

Jiang Qize raised a brow and smiled. "Then go ahead and eat."

If the creatures here could boost their power, there was no reason to rush — they could afford to stay a while.

"Thank you, Master."

Raptorex immediately tore into the corpse, joined by Tyrannosaurus.

The scene was rather gruesome — within a single minute, the giant saber-toothed tiger was reduced to a pile of white bones.

"Let's keep moving."

They continued deeper into the island.

The further they went, the larger the trees became — their dense leaves blotting out the sunlight. The ground was layered with decaying foliage and slick with moisture; the air was thick and humid.

Occasionally, enormous insects crawled past — grotesquely oversized.

"Be careful. Don't get bitten by the bugs here," Jiang Qize warned softly.

In the story, Nami had been bitten by one of these very insects and fallen ill, forcing the crew to travel to Drum Island.

He himself wasn't worried — but Camon and young Robin were too weak to take that kind of risk. Robin wasn't even ten yet.

"Yes, Captain," they both replied, bodies tensed with alertness.

Thud… Thud… Thud…

The ground began to tremble rhythmically.

The tremors grew stronger.

Rustle!

From a nearby thicket, a massive head pushed through — eyes gleaming with ferocity.

"Roooar~!"

It was a Baryonyx — a massive clawed dinosaur.

The beast roared and charged at them with no hesitation, showing no fear even of the towering Tyrannosaurus or the powerful Raptorex.
