Chapter 101 - Hargen the Measurer

Buzz!

Blue waves rippled across Planet Frieza 002. That is to say, they spread across the sky above what was once Xandar.

Frieza's slender, perfect figure stepped gracefully out of the void.

Two meters.

This was the height of a God.

Frieza looked down at his toes, then raised his head to look straight ahead. The feeling of no longer needing to look up slightly to see the world clearly put him in a great mood.

"The air is nice. Without those Nova Corps flies shouting 'justice' and 'protection' all day, the air quality of this planet seems to have improved quite a bit."

With his hands behind his back, Frieza did not ride in his golden egg-shell pod. Instead, relying on his own vast, sea-like Ki, he floated quietly ten thousand meters in the air. His gaze pierced through the clouds, looking down at the land beneath his feet.

Although Apocalypse, Erik, and that group of capable demolition experts had already taken the fleet into the depths of the Universe to expand their territory, here, everything was still in perfect order.

Huge holographic projections in the sky above the city played loops of Frieza's heroic posture.

On the streets, countless aliens of different skin colors and races, were wearing uniform grey-white uniforms, lining up in neat queues to receive their daily rations.

There was no arguing.

There were no riots.

There wasn't even the sound of whispering.

On every person's face was that standard, happy smile, meticulously tuned by Charles.

"Praise Lord Frieza! Today is a day full of hope!"

"Thank Lord Frieza for granting us the right to survive!"

The uniform sounds of prayer converged into a massive wave of sound, shooting straight into the sky.

"Oh-ho-ho..."

A hint of satisfaction flashed in Frieza's scarlet eyes.

"Is this what they call self-awareness?"

"It seems Charles's brainwashing techniques are nothing to scoff at. Even though he's gone, these chives are still growing quite well."

This was the kind of asset he wanted. Automatic operation, automatic output, with absolutely no need for him to waste even a second on such trivial matters.

"Since there are no problems with Planet Frieza 002..."

Frieza adjusted his collar, preparing to open a portal to the next stop.

For example, to take a stroll on Hala of the Kree Empire.

Suddenly, the originally bright sky darkened without any warning. It wasn't the darkness of dense clouds but a kind of suffocating darkness, as if the entire world was being blocked by some massive object.

"Hmm?"

Frieza's brow twitched slightly, and his scarlet eyes instantly became sharp.

He slowly raised his head and saw that outside the atmosphere of Xandar, in the deep starry sky of the Universe, six red points of light were emitting terrifying energy fluctuations. They were like six burning stars, coldly watching this tiny planet.

No.

Those weren't stars.

Those were eyes.

As the perspective pulled back, a figure so massive it inspired despair, gradually became clear in Frieza's field of vision.

It was a giant.

A metal giant wearing dark red armor, tall enough to rival a planet.

He just floated there quietly in orbit, his massive shadow covering half of Xandar.

The ancient and grand aura emanating from him, was even a few points heavier than that of Galactus, who had been exploded by a single punch.

The Celestials!

"Oh my..."

Frieza looked at the massive fellow blocking the sky. Not only was there no fear on his face, but instead, a hint of displeasure at being offended appeared.

"I just adjusted my height to two meters and felt I was perfect and then someone this big shows up? Is this a mockery of me?"

Just then, the red giant slowly opened his mouth.

No sound came but a grand mental fluctuation instantly and arrogantly barged into the minds of all living beings in this star sector.

Boom!

"Mortal Frieza."

The voice was cold, mechanical, without a shred of emotion, like the laws of the Universe reading out a verdict.

"I am the Inquisitor under Arishem the Judge, Hargen the Measurer."

"You have disrupted the natural evolutionary process of the Universe."

"You have illegally erased a cornerstone of the Universe—Galactus."

"You have unauthorizedly tampered with the ownership of the Infinity Stones."

The red Celestial slowly reached out a hand, a palm larger than the entire capital of Xandar. It made a grasping gesture, as if to crush Frieza along with this space.

"According to the ruling of the Celestial Host."

"Your crime: World-extinction level."

"Now, disarm immediately and follow me to the World Forge to stand trial."

"Resisters will be erased on the spot."

These words were like a bucket of cold water poured directly over the heads of the Xandarians who were just singing praises. Although the brainwashed masses still had smiles on their faces, their physical instincts made them begin to tremble. It was the fear of a higher-dimensional life form.

However, Frieza, suspended in mid-air, suddenly began to laugh.

"Pfft..."

He covered his mouth, his shoulders twitching slightly.

Then, the laughter grew louder and more insolent.

"Oh-ho-ho..."

"Hahahahahaha!"

Frieza laughed until tears almost came out.

He pointed at the giant red Celestial as if he were looking at a joker who could only tell cold jokes.

"Trial?"

"Erase?"

"Oh my, what big words."

Frieza stopped laughing, his face turning incredibly gloomy in an instant. In those scarlet eyes, a tyrannical killing intent gushed out like something physical.

"I say..."

"Do you big guys who look like tin cans all have the same problem?"

"Which is that you like to stand on high ground when talking to people?"

Frieza slowly raised his right hand. He did not use the power of the Infinity Stones. Merely the terrifying Ki belonging to Frieza's Final Form began to condense frantically in his palm.

"That idiot Galactus was like this."

"And you, this red-skinned can, are the same."

Boom!!!

Frieza's figure vanished instantly.

The next second, he actually teleported directly outside the atmosphere.

Right in front of that red Celestial's massive faceplate

The size difference was vast, Frieza was not even as large as a speck of dust before him. But the purple aura emanating from him forcibly pushed back the pressure of the Celestial.

"Who gave you permission to look down on me?!" Frieza let out a cold shout.

That seemingly petite fist, carrying terrifying kinetic energy enough to shatter a galaxy, smashed hard into the center of the Celestial's six eyes.

Thump—

An extremely dull explosion erupted in the vacuum.

That red Celestial, thousands of kilometers tall and like a god, was actually knocked back violently by this punch. Even that indestructible Celestial Armor showed a tiny crack.

"Get down there and talk!"
