Chapter 87 - Power Boosts On Both Sides

War spread across the golden Bifrost Bridge. But rather than a war, it was more like a one-sided violent demolition.

"For Asgard!"

A guard roared, his spear shimmering with divine power as he thrust it fiercely at the blue-skinned giant in strange tights in front of him.

Clang!

The spear struck Apocalypse's chest, like a toothpick poking a steel plate, leaving not even a white mark.

"These are the soldiers of the Divine Realm?"

Apocalypse looked down at the terrified guard, a look of extreme disappointment on his blue face.

"Too weak."

"Compared to Xandar's Nova Corps, you just have slightly more retro equipment."

Boom!

Apocalypse waved his large hand, and telekinetic power erupted.

That guard, along with a dozen comrades behind him, was blasted into the endless abyss below.

It wasn't just Apocalypse—Erik was even more in his element.

Asgard's buildings, weapons, and armor were almost all made of metal.

"This place..."

Erik hovered in mid-air, his hands moving gracefully as if playing a piano.

"It's simply a playground prepared for me."

Crack! Crack!

Countless guards watched in horror as their swords and armor began to twist and contract uncontrollably. Finally, they became deadly shackles, strangling them alive in their own armor.

On the other end of the battlefield.

Five hundred thousand mechanical soldiers, like a white tide, furiously attacked Odin's protective shield under the cover of fire from ten thousand warships.

Even the Divine Realm seemed to be tottering when faced with such a cosmic-level steel torrent.

"Oh ho ho ho..."

High in the sky, Frieza sat in his hovering pod. He looked at the one-sided situation below, a satisfied arc forming at the corner of his lips.

"It seems this so-called strongest kingdom in the Nine Realms is quite overrated."

"It's truly laughable."

Just as Frieza was about to order an increase in firepower to shatter that tortoise shell—

Buzz!

An ancient yet majestic roar, as if from ancient times, instantly shattered the smoke of battle.

"Warriors of Asgard!"

"The All-Father is with you!"

Boom!

From the deepest part of the palace, a dazzling golden light shot into the sky, merging into the tottering protective shield.

Immediately after, an incredible scene unfolded.

The golden light did not stay on the shield but transformed into countless golden meteors, entering the body of every Asgardian warrior.

Odinforce!

The All-Father was burning his divine power to provide a group buff for his people.

"Roar!!!"

The Royal guards, who had been steadily retreating, let out earth-shattering roars.

Their eyes turned pure gold, their wounds healed at a visible speed, and their aura surged several times over.

"For Odin!"

A guard, who had been trampled under Apocalypse's foot, suddenly erupted with terrifying power. He grabbed Apocalypse's ankles with both hands and actually managed to flip the hundred-meter-tall blue giant to the ground.

"What?!"

Apocalypse's eyes widened, and before he could get up, dozens of guards glowing with golden light rushed forward. Their spears actually pierced his bio-force field.

Pfft!

Blue blood splattered.

"Damn it! Why did these guys suddenly take drugs?!"

Erik also encountered trouble. The metal weapons he had controlled now glowed with golden runes, forcibly breaking free from his magnetic control, they even shot back at him.

The situation instantly reversed.

Under the blessing of this violent divine power from the All-Father, Asgard's army actually managed to withstand the Frieza Force's offensive and even began to push back.

"Hmm?"

Frieza looked at the suddenly valiant "natives" below, a slight frown on his face.

He put down his wine glass, a hint of displeasure flashing in his crimson eyes.

"Cheating?"

"Giving these cannon fodder a cheat?"

"That old man has no honour."

Frieza extended a finger, gently tapping the armrest of his hovering pod.

"Since you want to play this game of comparing foundations, how can I, the richest man in the Universe, lose to a country bumpkin like you?"

Frieza slowly stood up. He did not attack but elegantly raised his right hand, palm facing down.

"My subordinates."

Frieza's voice, carried by the air, clearly reached the ears of every Frieza Force member.

"You've done well this past half month. Since I, your boss, am in a good mood, I'll give you some overtime pay in advance."

Buzz—

A vast, suffocating purple aura suddenly burst forth from Frieza's palm.

That was not destructive energy.

It was pure, high-density—Ki.

"Catch it."

Whoosh... Whoosh...

The purple Ki transformed into countless streaks of light, like precise missiles.

It instantly entered the bodies of Apocalypse, Erik, Loki, and even the five hundred thousand mechanical soldiers.

Boom! Boom! Boom...

On the battlefield, purple light exploded.

Apocalypse, who had been pressed to the ground and rubbed, suddenly shook. He felt an indescribably violent power erupt within him.

His depleted stamina instantly refilled, even breaking through its limits.

"Roar!!!"

Apocalypse let out a roar of extreme satisfaction.

His body surged, growing from a hundred meters to two hundred meters. He was even enveloped in a purple aura armor.

"You bugs! All of you die!"

Apocalypse slammed his fist down.

Crack!

The dozen golden-glowing guards who were attacking him, along with their Odinforce, were smashed into dust by that punch. The ground was even left with a meteorite crater.

On the other side, Erik felt the power within him. He found that his magnetic field, under the blessing of this power, had undergone a qualitative change.

"Is this Lord Frieza's power?" Erik's eyes were filled with fanaticism.

He abruptly clapped his hands together.

Magnetic Field Rotation! One Million Horsepower!

Sizzle!

The metal buildings on the outer perimeter of the Palace instantly disintegrated, transforming into a purple steel dragon that swallowed hundreds of Asgardian warriors.

The situation reversed once again.

In the most central battlefield, at the head of the Bifrost Bridge.

Thanos was wielding his double-edged axe, locked in an inseparable battle with Hela.

Although Thanos possessed upgraded equipment bestowed by Frieza, on Asgardian soil, Hela had an endless supply of divine power, making her like an unkillable cockroach.

"Give up, purple freak!"

Hela's Necrosword danced, a scornful smile on her face.

"Here, I am invincible!"

"As long as Asgard stands, you will never defeat me!"

Pfft!

A black blade pierced Thanos's shoulder.

Thanos grunted, stepping back a few paces. "Is that so?"

Thanos did not panic, he glanced at the white figure in the sky.

The next second, a purple stream of light entered his body. That was a special boost Frieza had prepared for his "Demolition Office Director."

Enough Ki to double Thanos's power level.

Boom!

Thanos's golden armor was instantly enveloped in a purple aura and his previously somewhat fatigued aura instantly surged to a terrifying level.

"You talk too much."

Thanos looked up, his eyes blazing with purple light.

Thud!

The Bifrost Bridge beneath his feet instantly shattered and Thanos's figure vanished.

Too fast!

Hela only saw a blur before a massive purple hand had her by the neck.

"What?!" Hela cried out in alarm.

"Kneel!"

Thanos roared, his arm muscles bulging, as he forcefully slammed the arrogant Goddess of Death to the ground.

Rumble!

The entire Bifrost Bridge trembled.

Hela wanted to struggle and summon her Necrosword. But Thanos's other hand pulled out a metal collar engraved with runes from his waist.

This was a power suppressor he had developed specifically for the Asgardian gods during his shipbuilding downtime.

Click!

The collar snapped onto Hela's neck.

Buzz!

Hela felt her connection to Asgard instantly become intermittent, and the divine power within her settled like stagnant water.

"You... what did you do?!" Hela shrieked in terror.

"This is science, madam." Thanos said coldly, one foot on Hela's chest, rendering her immobile.

"Now, be quiet."

With Hela subdued, Asgard's last line of defense completely collapsed.
