Chapter 176 - Chapter 176: Not Suitable for Children – Spider-Man 1 Is a Hit

This made Leoxia unable to resist opening her eyes. She was startled to find that Mavi, sitting beside her, was smiling at her while intensely "gnawing" on his fingers… He was so focused and absorbed in the act that he seemed to forget everything else.

Realizing she had been tricked, Leoxia's beautiful face instantly turned bright red!

Shame! Anger! Embarrassment! A mix of emotions surged through her, making her feel as if she could no longer face anyone. She instinctively stood up, wanting to leave this humiliating scene behind.

But to her surprise, the toy handcuffs she had brought were still locked onto Mavi's wrist as well. So, just as she tried to take a step away, she was abruptly yanked backward by the restraint—falling straight into Mavi's arms.

"You scoundrel!" Leoxia raised her delicate hand, attempting to hit Mavi. However, he had anticipated her move and effortlessly caught her hand.

"You were the one who asked me to teach you. So, have you learned now?" Mavi said with a smirk that was infuriatingly smug. He looked down at Leoxia in his arms, his expression so irritating that she wanted nothing more than to bite him.

However, considering that a refined lady like her couldn't handle such rough treatment, Mavi decided to release his grip and let her go.

"You're terrible!" Leoxia glared at him in frustration. Then, taking advantage of Mavi loosening his grip slightly, she suddenly flipped over and straddled his lap.

With a playful smile, she looked down at him and said, "But I like bad boys…"

The next moment, in the dimly lit theater, Leoxia pinned Mavi against the wall and kissed him passionately.

Like dry wood meeting a raging fire, passion ignited instantly. Knowing that the handcuffs would soon become an inconvenience, Leoxia skillfully reached into her backpack, pulled out the key, and unlocked their wrists—all while keeping up the heated kiss.

What happened next could only be described as not suitable for children. Needless to say, neither of them paid much attention to the Spider-Man movie. Instead, they turned the private theater into their own personal… well, let's just say it wasn't used for watching films.

### …

After their passionate encounter, Mavi and Leoxia checked into a nearby hotel to freshen up, change into clean clothes, and relax. They lay comfortably in bed, watching TV and continuing what they had left unfinished in the theater.

It had to be said—Ukrainian girls were incredibly resilient. Leoxia wasn't the least bit afraid of the "torment" from a strong Russian man. Their time together lasted an entire afternoon. It wasn't until evening, after showering and having dinner, that exhaustion finally took over. They curled up in each other's arms and fell asleep.

By the time Mavi woke up the next morning, it was already 9 a.m. His phone, which was placed on the bedside table, suddenly rang.

"Hello?" he answered groggily. Beside him, Leoxia was still sleeping soundly on the pillow.

"Hello, Chairman Mavi! This is Roger from Marvel Studios. I have great news for you! As of early this morning, the global box office earnings for Spider-Man 1 have reached $19.5 million! At this rate, we estimate that it will hit $650 million before it leaves theaters!"

Roger was the president of Marvel Studios and one of the high-ranking executives who had chosen to stay with Marvel Comics. Mavi had personally promoted him to this position, so Roger deeply respected him.

"$650 million worldwide? Hmm, not bad," Mavi praised over the phone. He had initially invested only $100 million into Spider-Man 1, and now the box office was projected to reach at least $650 million—an even better outcome than in his past life.

"Chairman Mavi, you're too kind! To be honest, everyone at Marvel Studios believes that our success today is entirely thanks to you!"

Roger didn't dare take credit. After all, every major decision had been made by Mavi. The rest of them had simply followed his orders.

"Well, make sure Spider-Man 2 is produced just as perfectly. After that, we still have Iron Man, The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and other sci-fi films to work on."

Mavi wasn't about to let his first-day success cloud his judgment. His plans needed to proceed steadily, without arrogance or complacency.

"Understood, Chairman Mavi! Rest assured, we'll give it our all!" Roger vowed over the phone.

"Alright, that's all for now. Bye."

As Mavi ended the call, he noticed that Leoxia had already woken up. She was lying beside him, resting her head on a pillow while gazing at him.

"Mavi, Spider-Man 1—was that your movie?" she asked in surprise.

She had assumed that his main business was in the arms industry. She never imagined that the man beside her was also behind the blockbuster Marvel films. He seemed almost omnipotent…

Instead of answering her question, Mavi reached out and gently tapped the tip of her nose. "What did you just call me?"

"Mavi… big brother…" Leoxia whispered shyly.

Mavi smiled but still didn't answer her question. He was determined to keep her guessing.

However, by now, Leoxia had learned to adapt to his personality. She suddenly bit her lip as if she had thought of something, then said in a seemingly unrelated manner,

"Mavi, big brother… you know, I've heard my mom making strange noises in her room late at night several times…"

She blinked at him with innocent, wide eyes.

It was impossible to guess what this four-dimensional girl meant by that. Was she hinting at something? Was she inviting him to her house for…?

Leoxia left the conversation hanging there, refusing to say anything further—perhaps as payback for Mavi keeping Spider-Man a secret from her.

Women truly were mysterious creatures. Whether 18 or 28, their thoughts were impossible to predict…

 …

After sending Leoxia—the daughter of Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister—on her way, Mavi returned to his usual leisurely lifestyle.

By late February, the auctions for the Lamborghini Reventón and Veneno on the official website were nearing their end. At the moment, the highest bid for the Reventón was $4.55 million, placed by a wealthy North American buyer.

Meanwhile, the highest bid for the Lamborghini Veneno had reached $6.82 million—about 1.5 times that of the Reventón.

At this rate, Mavi estimated that by the time the auction ended, these two sports cars would bring in at least $320 million in profit.

At this point, financial concerns were practically nonexistent for him. His money was making more money, creating a completely self-sustaining cycle.

As the chairman of Lamborghini, the first two Reventón and Veneno models were naturally reserved for him. However, these were not included in the official limited production count of 33 and 17 units, respectively.
