"Winnie! What are you two sneaking around for?"
Mavi stepped out of his room, curious to see what the two big ones next door were up to all day.
As soon as he opened the door, he was surprised to find Winnie and Little Tiger crouched still, keeping watch over a small pink pet bed.
On the tiny bed lay a peacefully sleeping baby lion.
It was none other than Xinbei, the little female lion cub that Mavi had received as a New Year's gift from a friend a few days ago. He had been so busy that he almost forgot about her.
"Young Master, ever since Xinbei arrived, Winnie and Little Tiger have been guarding her all day, never leaving her side. They haven't been causing any trouble either," the maid said as she tended to Mavi's pets in the room. Over the past year, she had completely adapted to Mavi's personality and habits.
"Oh! Right, I almost forgot about the little lion cub!" Mavi laughed, squatting down next to Winnie and Little Tiger, watching Xinbei sleep. The sight was so adorable that his heart nearly melted.
The name Xinbei was inspired by Simba from The Lion King.
Mavi was delighted to see that Winnie and Little Tiger had accepted their new family member without any hostility. Given their current strength, a single paw swipe could easily send the tiny lion cub flying...

Two days later, Mavi received a call from the Ukrainian Prime Minister's office. More precisely, it was from Deputy Prime Minister Snyezhana.
"Hello, Mavi. Do you have time this weekend? I'd like to invite you over to my house. Would you be interested?"
As their relationship had become more familiar, Snyezhana no longer addressed him so formally as Mr. Mavi but instead called him by his first name.
"Sure, I'm free, Deputy Prime Minister Snyezhana. How about the day after tomorrow?" Mavi, however, was not about to be so casual as to drop her title entirely—showing a bit of respect never hurt.
"Great! See you then!" Snyezhana said happily over the phone. Her daughter, Leoxia, would also be home that day, making it the perfect opportunity to introduce her to the "great hero" she had long admired.
Although Snyezhana was the beautiful Prime Minister of Ukraine, her marriage had been rather turbulent, and she had divorced her husband years ago.
As for her daughter, Leoxia, she was seventeen years old and had inherited her mother's stunning beauty and figure. She was extremely popular at school.
However, due to Ukraine's severe gender imbalance, girls of noble status like Leoxia often had no boys daring to pursue them. Some feared they were out of their league, while others felt the pressure was simply too overwhelming for an ordinary person to handle…
Leoxia had heard her mother mention Mavi many times, and she had developed a strong admiration for him. She had even expressed the desire to meet him on more than one occasion.
When Mavi's private jet landed at the Ukrainian airport, a pre-arranged vehicle immediately took him to Deputy Prime Minister Snyezhana's residence—an elegant villa in one of Ukraine's wealthiest neighborhoods.
Before his car had even come to a complete stop, the front door of the villa swung open, and a blonde girl in a sky-blue down jacket stepped out, as if she had been waiting for him for a long time.
Despite wearing a winter coat, her graceful and curvaceous figure was still evident. Her stunning beauty, inherited from her mother, made it easy for Mavi to recognize her at a glance—she was Leoxia, Snyezhana's daughter.
"Aren't you cold standing out here, Leoxia?" Mavi asked with a smile.
The girl blinked in surprise and looked at him. "How do you know my name? Did my mom tell you?"
Her voice was clear and pleasant. Unlike her mother's rich and magnetic tone, she had a different kind of charm.
"Yeah," Mavi nodded, only to realize that Leoxia hadn't taken her eyes off him the entire time.
Normally, when two people meet for the first time and talk at close range, they glance at each other briefly before looking elsewhere. But Leoxia kept gazing up at him like a curious kitten.
"Ahem, why are you staring at me like that? Is there something on my face?" Mavi asked, clearing his throat.
Leoxia shook her head and then, to his astonishment, said, "No, it's just that… you're handsome."
Her blunt and straightforward compliment left Mavi momentarily flustered. Even with his thick skin, he felt a slight blush creeping up.
"Uh… thanks!" He forced a smile and quickly looked elsewhere. This kind of girl—so direct and uninhibited—was a first for him since his rebirth.
"Come on, my mom's waiting inside!" Leoxia said, casually reaching out and linking arms with him. Mavi found himself caught off guard, momentarily unsure of how to react.
"Mom, Mavi's here!" Leoxia called out familiarly, addressing him as big brother Mavi—a level of closeness that made him struggle to keep up with the pace.
"Oh? Mavi, you're here? Make yourself at home, don't be shy. Dinner will be ready soon!" Snyezhana called out from the kitchen, where she was busy preparing a meal for the three of them.
"Alright, Deputy Prime Minister Snyezhana," Mavi replied politely.
Family gatherings like this were rare for Mavi, both in his past life and his current one.
After their brief exchange, Leoxia pulled him over to the living room sofa, where the TV was playing a Ukrainian entertainment program.
She then took off her sky-blue down jacket, revealing a snug white wool sweater and black stockings.
With the coat on, her figure had been somewhat concealed. But now, her well-endowed chest, coupled with her angelic face, left an undeniable impression—she had a devilish body with a heavenly face.
The second thought that crossed Mavi's mind: She's… really well-endowed.
By his estimate, she was well past a D-cup—at least an E-cup, if not larger. In simple terms, impossible to grasp with just one hand.
The sofa had plenty of space for them to sit separately. Yet, whether intentionally or unintentionally, Leoxia sat extremely close to Mavi, pressing him into the far right corner.
The distance between them was barely half a fist, and with the slightest movement, they would inevitably make contact.
