Chapter 272 - Negotiations Before Departure

That morning, as the sun began to rise higher and emit its warm rays, the atmosphere inside the shelter house suddenly turned into a state of immense uproar.

Victor, who had previously been forcefully taken to the bathroom and struggled fiercely to be freed, now walked out of the room with a blissful smile.

Once he was in the hall, he instead officially announced that he was currently the eleventh spouse of the King of Terror.

"Damn you, Victor!" Bryan cursed with a feigned tone of annoyance, staring at his friend with a look of disbelief. "It was completely useless for me to feel so worried about you. It turns out you secretly liked Arvin and have now become his eleventh spouse!"

Hearing the grumbling, Victor merely chuckled.

"I was very scared at first too, truly!" he admitted honestly, recalling the horror he had felt earlier. "But he is indeed very clever at playing with my mind until I reached my lowest point. That pressure left me with no choice but to speak honestly about my true feelings to him."

Bryan and a few other students near Victor exchanged glances and could not deny it.

The reputation of Arvin Vedegra was indeed no joke. If the King of Terror truly intended to break the minds of the people he had targeted or make them submit, then he would immediately do it without needing to think twice.

....

Meanwhile, a few moment later, in the front yard, Arvin and Alrain stepped forward to hand over their tournament victory trophies to Dean Saires. The Dean accepted both trophies with a proud smile blooming on his face.

After the brief ceremonial handover was completed, one by one, the academy's horse carriages began moving out of the shelter house area toward the main street.

However, right at the exact same time, the group from the merchant guild led directly by the guild master arrived in the courtyard. In accordance with the trade agreement that had been settled previously, they came to meet the Dean to hand over all the gold and precious jewelry.

The wealth transfer process was then carried out.

With Alrain's help, all the luxurious jewelry and heavy chests of gold were easily and efficiently stored inside his magic bag.

On the other hand, Allen began carrying out his task. After ensuring that everyone inside the shelter house had exited, he began to visualize the house entering the magic bag attached to his waist.

And what happened next was that the sturdy building was instantly sucked in and shrunk, entering completely into the magic bag, leaving behind a flat, empty plot of land.

Everyone from the merchant guild, with no exception to the guild master, was utterly astounded to see a house of that size fit so easily into someone's magic bag.

The guild's business instincts immediately surged. They desperately wanted that rare magic bag which possessed such an extraordinarily massive capacity.

"Young man, excuse me for a moment!" the guild master greeted in a tone of amazement, approaching Allen. "Where did you buy a magic bag like that? To improve the mobility of our merchant guild, I would very much like to purchase it."

"This bag is not sold on the market. It is made by our husband." Allen answered truthfully. His hand then raised and pointed straight toward Arvin, who was not far from them. "Please go ahead and ask him directly if you are indeed interested in buying this magic bag."

Receiving that pointer, the middle-aged man quickly rushed over to the blue-haired youth, who was currently busy destroying a hut located in the side yard of where the shelter house used to stand.

"Forgive me for interrupting your busy work, young man." the guild master greeted in a very friendly and polite tone. "Is it true that you are the one who created that large-capacity magic bag?"

"Yes, I am the one who made it." Arvin answered without averting his gaze, while continuing to use his alchemy magic to destroy the hut. Once all the earth and ice materials had merged and returned flat to the ground without a trace, he turned his body around, looking at the middle-aged man calmly. "What is the matter with the magic bag? Do you want to have one as well?"

Without the slightest hesitation, the guild master immediately confirmed the youth's words, stating his immense interest.

And then, a rather tough negotiation process took place between the two of them in the middle of the increasingly empty courtyard.

The guild master, who was accustomed to transacting with gold and gems, was caught by surprise. He truly never expected that the immensely powerful youth before him did not desire gold or jewelry at all as an exchange item.

Until a few moments later, after a long bargaining process, the negotiation result was finally agreed upon.

In exchange for four of his crafted magic bags, Arvin demanded a massive amount of high-quality plant seeds, various kinds of food ingredients, and hundreds of fabric rolls with a total value equivalent to 970,000 Voza.

"But, there is one additional condition." Arvin said, completing the barter details for his four magic bags. "If you have the seeds of the Golden Calend and Silver Calend flowers, I will gladly exchange them for those flower seeds alone."

Hearing the names of the two types of flowers just mentioned, the guild master furrowed his brows even more, truly failing to understand the thought process of the youth before him.

Desiring the seeds of the Golden Calend and Silver Calend flowers as the main exchange items in this fantastically valued transaction? the man thought in shock, staring at Arvin with sheer disbelief. Out of so many other valuable goods, artifacts, or precious metals, why is it that he wants those wild flower seeds which hold no high selling value? Does he want to create a massive flower garden?

"Very well! The guild will still provide all the items we agreed upon initially!" the guild master decided in a firm tone. "And regarding the seeds of the two flowers you requested, we will still search for them and provide them for you as a bonus!"

Reaching an agreement, the two of them finally shook hands tightly. The middle-aged man immediately turned and approached one of his trusted female staff members, ordering her to quickly draft a detailed transaction note between them as valid legal proof.

Upon a sheet of high-quality parchment, Arvin and the guild master each affixed their signatures to the official document to bind the massive transaction.

However, right after they had just finished their business transaction affairs, the atmosphere on the street suddenly turned tense.

The sound of rhythmic horse footsteps and the clinking of chafing armor was heard approaching. A troop of Victoriaz Kingdom soldiers with full armor and weaponry had arrived in the area around the courtyard.

And in the center of that fully armed military formation, a highly luxurious royal carriage rolled forward, pulled slowly by two pure white horses.

By the time the carriage had come to a perfect halt in front of the academy group, a soldier swiftly stepped forward and opened the carriage door.

Then, from inside the royal carriage whose door was already open, Prince Lionias slowly stepped out, followed by the appearance of a middle-aged man wearing extremely majestic official royal attire.
