Chapter 118 - When the Sacred Symbols Are Engraved

Receiving such a sincere and aggressive plea from his third spouse, Arvin didn't answer immediately. Instead, he turned his head, looking toward Allen and Alrain, who were still holding piles of books and clothes, as if seeking their opinion or unspoken consent.

Seeing his husband suddenly look hesitant over mere logistics, Allen put his hands on his hips.

"Why are you looking at us with such a confused face, My Husband?" Allen asked in amusement, his tone sounding playful. "Ordion is your third spouse! He is asking for his right, and it is your duty to fulfill it, didn't you?"

"Allen is right!" Alrain chimed in without a second's pause, agreeing completely. The green-haired youth offered a teasing smile toward Ordion. "You must make him officially yours and engrave that symbol right now!"

"That's not what I'm concerned about!" Arvin replied instantly, huffing slightly at his two spouses who had misunderstood him. He pointed to Ordion's belongings still piled on the floor and bed. "Is it alright if we spend a bit more time here to do 'that' and leave just the two of you to deal with the trouble of collecting and tidying all the rest of Ordion's things?"

Hearing his husband's unexpected concern, Allen simply rolled her eyes with a faint, amused smile.

"It's not a problem at all!" Allen replied without hesitation. "Besides, all we have to do is tidy and fold, then put everything into this magic bag. It's a very easy job."

Alrain nodded in agreement with Allen's words. He waved his hand as if shooing Arvin away. "Honestly, you think too much! Hurry up and take him to the bathroom and just do what you two are supposed to do to officialize that bond!"

Though this situation was actually far from Arvin's expectations of a romantic first night on a soft mansion bed, seeing the hopeful look in Ordion's eyes, Arvin didn't want to disappoint the red-haired teenager at all.

Arvin squeezed Ordion's hand tightly, then pulled the red-haired teenager's ideal body closer.

"Alright, if that is indeed your wish." Arvin whispered softly.

Then, Allen looked toward her husband. "After we finish tidying these things up, we will join you two for a bath together."

"Yes, of course!" Ordion replied enthusiastically, his face flushed red. He allowed himself to be pulled slowly by Arvin, walking side-by-side toward the small bathroom door in the corner of the dormitory room.

The bathroom door was closed very tightly.

Outside, Allen and Alrain looked at each other. Both offered a meaningful smile, then almost simultaneously shifted their gaze toward the wooden bathroom door that was now shut fast.

"It seems we'll be hearing plenty of pleasant moans to accompany our packing here." Allen said casually as she began folding Ordion's uniform shirt, occasionally glancing at the bathroom door.

"Damn it! Hahaha." Alrain murmured to Allen, joining in the laughter at the thought of their third spouse's aggressive behavior. He grabbed a stack of thick books from the desk. "It seems this quiet room is about to become very noisy for a moment."

While sorting through the items to be taken, the atmosphere between the two spouses felt very warm and comfortable.

"But to be honest, I still never expected that Ordion also possessed intact memories of the past before his death in that era." Allen said softly, pausing his movements for a moment. He stared out the dormitory window, still feeling amazed and chilled by the phenomenon of time regression that bound them together.

"It seems he was indeed destined by the Gods to return to the present with me, so that he could redeem all his bitter regrets from that era." Alrain replied, his tone sounding very relieved because his burden of secrets was now shared.

"Yes, you're right!" Allen confirmed Alrain's words with a sincere smile. "At the very least, in this new life of his, he already feels very happy to be able to stand beside the person he loves so dearly, instead of having to die harboring those feelings until the end of his days like in that era."

"You're exactly right, Allen." Alrain added, taking a long breath to cast away the remnants of war trauma in his head. "Ordion truly deserves to stand with Arvin! The loyalty he held for our husband in the past was immense, pure, and strong. Back then, even as a general of the forces opposing him, I respected him deeply, even though we were enemies fighting one another."

Allen nodded in understanding. He put the last stack of clothes into the magic bag, then sat on the edge of the bed.

"But, seeing how our husband plans everything... I'm getting very curious about who the next person will be to fill the position of the fourth spouse." Allen said again, tapping his finger on his chin, genuinely curious about who else would be drawn into Arvin's harem.

Hearing Allen's curiosity, Alrain simply shrugged and put the books he was holding back into magic.

"You don't need to worry or think too much about that, Allen." Alrain answered casually and with full conviction. "Whoever he chooses later to be the fourth or fifth, our job is only to support his decision and ensure the new person truly has a sincere love for our husband."

"Yes, you're right! I'm very sure he would never be wrong in judging someone." Allen agreed.

And suddenly, from the direction of the tightly closed bathroom, their conversation was interrupted by the sound of Ordion groaning in pain.

"Ah... it hurts..." Ordion groaned from behind the door, his voice trembling as he endured the sting. "My Dear... it's so hot... I beg you, please take away my pain!"

Hearing the groans, Allen and Alrain looked at each other. They were both very familiar with that burning pain.

"It seems the life-and-death contract magic has begun to engrave itself and burn the skin on the back of his hand." Alrain murmured with a smile.

"Let them enjoy their honeymoon together." Allen replied, who then immediately stood up and resumed his tasks, not wanting to disturb the sacred moment.

Alrain also assisted Allen in gathering all the remaining trinkets inside the cupboard and putting them into the magic bag.
