Chapter 19 - 19

He couldn't stand the idea of his wife wearing a collar, so he would watch from afar, but he couldn't have the kind of relationship that would encourage him to start his new life. He accepted flirting with other women; in reality, Tsuki knew that his wife was adept at not working, only having sex. Her ex-husband died mysteriously on a trip from which he never returned. When she received alimony until they had custody of a child who was already 12 years old, the alimony was dwindling, and without further ado, it was no longer enough to support her lifestyle.

He found a candidate, they were both charmed, and felt attracted to each other.

It was as if he were living a new life; the woman in question was as traditional as he was, they had common interests, and he enjoyed going out with her.

She was Laura; apparently, Patricia's agreement doesn't apply to both of them, as she sees her husband coming and going with another woman.

The woman in question, who was brought to his house almost every day, they talked about it, and after a few weeks of dating, they revealed what they wanted, they ended up getting together, and then, that week, he filed for divorce from his wife.

Within a few days, Jonas had achieved his greatest dream: to reconcile his own family. He didn't want to be with two women, so he talked to Laura.

"I don't think it's going to work," he said.

"I understand, you're not going to get a divorce," she said.

So, Jonas and Patricia reconcile, then they give up being with other people, they give up on that, and they start being in a monogamous relationship again.

Jonas enters without knocking, seeing that the woman was having sex with another person, with his cousin, who will be staying at a gathering of friends.

As for Jonas, whose birthday was that week, and who could keep up appearances for the time being, she receives a phone call. The following day, the two couples go camping, amidst a crisis in their relationship. He knew the area well, and it was a day of leisure.

A search team is called for a missing person, at least not at the campsite. There's a cliff; they saw what appeared to be a tent, but it's a dangerous descent. The rescuers, upon descending, discover a tent. They use a knife to cut the canvas and see blood. Even without opening the tent, the search team deduced from the smell that there was a body there, and sent a message to headquarters.

The tent is isolated and investigators are called to the scene when the sleeping bag is opened.

Inside a sleeping bag, they found Jonas's body.

His wife was reported missing; the rain the previous day meant they couldn't determine the cause of death inside the tent, so investigators are searching for clues in the vicinity, including his cell phone, and some of those involved are missing.

Since Jonas died there, only one person could say what happened; she was apprehensive. The investigators arrived at the house to question her.

Patricia, who had left her daughter with a babysitter, then went out with her husband. They listened to Patricia's account explaining that the adventure started well until he couldn't stay. After he left, the trio continued the party, lit the bonfire, took pictures, had fun, and talked the whole time. The birthday boy then retired to his tent.

She said that a cold front arrived, the temperature dropped, Jonas woke up, and they wanted to go back home.

It's understandable that he was upset, he didn't want to leave, he's passionate about nature, and he decided to stay in the tent. He decided to leave them alone, claiming that he left food, a flashlight, and a gun for him to keep.

So, they went back, stopped at a snack bar, went home, watched television, and the next morning when they returned to look for him, the tent had disappeared; there was no one there. They were desperate; it was impossible for him to leave, so they called the police.

The investigators became suspicious, especially after the victim was followed to a campsite and then abandoned after being killed by the river.

Suddenly the media found out about it, and the news spread to everyone.

After speaking with the police, the widow notified her family.

An investigator approached the ex-fiancée, wanting to know all the details about the two of them. She reported that they were both seeing other people.

She loved him no matter what, she was with friends on the day of the murder, noticing the distrust, pointing the police officer in another direction.

The investigator visits a lover of his sister-in-law's sister, who reveals the alibi for the night of the murder, claiming that he and four other friends were at a strip club.

When she arrived at the police station, she became nervous, but they told her the same story.

Claiming that she arrived home, watched television, and ruled out the suspect, she found the receipt from the snack bar in her bag, which made sense.

Only one person is ruled out as a suspect, the mistress herself; the woman was on a trip to a hotel for a convention.

Focusing exclusively on Jonas's family, they requested a search warrant, went there, and found the wallet in a drawer in his room.

She acted as if she didn't know, and instead of continuing to question the widow, they pressed Patricia's sister; if there was anyone who could talk, it was Amber.

The only person presents who was there on the day of the death, we thought that if she were arrested for homicide, she would talk, so she became desperate, knowing that Amber was vulnerable. When the public prosecutor offered her immunity and 16 months of detention, they made a deal.

The younger sister ended up telling everything out of fear.

I'll tell you; I know what happened.

Who pulled the trigger?

- It was my sister Patricia; she claims the murder was planned.

So, 4 weeks before.

She wanted to help her sister kill her in a place where there would be no witnesses.

They knew he loved camping, and he consumed alcohol, thinking they were drinking.

They brought a bottle of food colouring to match the color of the drink, it started to get cold, and Jonas, the birthday boy, said that at ten o'clock at night he went to sleep in the tent.

Amber was terrified; her sister didn't know she had tried to make her sister give up. Patricia then said he wasn't coming home with her, and went to the tent.

Patricia emptied the charger on top of him.

Amber gave him another cartridge, then Patricia emptied it, they wrapped the man in the tent and threw him off the cliff.

The sisters leave the place.

She never wanted to work, he had a $100,000 life insurance policy, but he had financial difficulties, she didn't want to work, and if he divorced her, she would have to work.

Patricia was tried for homicide and then sentenced to life imprisonment.

So, back to the bar.

He spent that night at the bar, simply wanting to forget, in a hidden corner of the nightclub, with a huge cloak, and hiding from view, he thought that a cloak would conceal who he was, big mistake, in the middle of his fourth bottle, someone sat down in front of him.

When, finally, touching the table, he lifted his face from the bottle, and it was... an idiot, who thought he should meet with an informant of another friend regarding an investigation, which led him to say that he hadn't given the insurance money to anyone.
