After taking several steps, I stopped. I made sure no one was following me or watching from afar before activating Teleportation and heading straight for the cave.
The moment I arrived, I headed into my private dimension and asked the cave to accelerate time inside it. As soon as I stepped in, I murmured to myself.
"The plan wasn't a mistake."
I paused, then questioned myself again.
"Wasn't it?"
"...No."
"Why?"
"Because it depends on instinct. I might be wrong... or I might not."
Either way, I had decided to trust my instincts. Remaining in the tournament after everything that had happened would only expose me to greater danger. Winning, then withdrawing before the final match and disappearing... that was the only path left.
I arrived at the cave and let out a relieved breath. No one intercepted me on the way back. Perhaps because of what I'd said. Or perhaps the Hunter Sect simply hadn't expected things to turn out this way.
