Skynet walked over to Homelander and placed a tablet in front of him.

A faint scent of perfume wafted into Homelander's nose.

"Is that perfume selected by big data again?" Homelander asked.

"Chanel No. 5, a classic," Skynet smiled. "Let's get down to business, sir."

"Just now, Miss Skye contacted Brock Rumlow."

"Oh?" Homelander raised an eyebrow; he had been too busy lately and had forgotten about her. "That little girl looking for her origins? Isn't she running all over the World with Coulson?"

"Yes. But this time is different."

Skynet brought up a satellite photo.

It was a wasteland in northern Canada.

"Skye sent back a set of coordinates. It's Nick Fury's hideout."

"Furthermore, she brought a message."

"Saying that Nick Fury wants to meet with you."

"Fury seems to have acquired some alien biological specimens and is using them as leverage," Skynet reported. "And Skye mentioned that these aliens know about her parents' situation."

"Interesting."

Homelander's fingers tapped lightly on the desk.

"It seems this old rat is getting a bit desperate."

"Ashley."

He pressed the intercom button on the desk.

"I'm here, sir."

In less than a minute, the office door was pushed open.

Ashley walked in with hurried steps. Her hairline seemed a bit higher than last week.

"I want to see my schedule for next week," Homelander said. "I need to clear an hour to meet an 'old friend'."

"Certainly, sir. Please wait a moment."

Ashley's fingers swiped rapidly across the tablet screen, and she spoke at a fast pace.

"Next Monday, you're flying to Washington for the President's breakfast meeting, followed by reshoots for 'The Seven: Dawn of Justice'. All day Tuesday is dedicated to handling details of military order contracts with the Department of Defense. Wednesday..."

"...Wednesday morning is scheduled for the United Nations Charity Ambassador appointment ceremony, and in the afternoon, you have a flight to Paris for a..."

"Stop."

Homelander raised a finger, and Ashley's voice cut off abruptly.

"Clear the schedule for Wednesday morning."

"Uh... clear it?" Ashley's expression stiffened for a moment, an instinctive reaction of a top-tier corporate slave facing a boss's last-minute change. "But the Charity Ambassador ceremony..."

"Send Jessica," Homelander shrugged indifferently. "Hasn't she been quite free lately? It's a good chance for her to practice her fake smile."

"Alright, then Miss Jones will go." Ashley recorded it quickly without objection. "So, from 10 AM to 12 PM on Wednesday, your time is free. Do you need me to book a restaurant or hotel for you?"

"No need, right here." Homelander shook his head.

"Understood."

"One more thing." Homelander lowered his legs, stood up, and walked over to Ashley, his tone concerned.

"Ashley, you look very tired lately."

"I... I'm not tired, sir! It's an honor to serve you!" Ashley instinctively straightened her back, even though her spine was screaming in protest.

"Don't be nervous." Homelander reached out and, like an elder, straightened her slightly crooked collar.

"Vought is a big family; I don't want my family members to collapse from exhaustion. After all, a sensible and capable assistant like you is hard to find."

A warm smile appeared on Homelander's face.

"Starting this month, your salary will increase by 20%. Also, I'm giving you seven days of paid leave next week. Go soak up the Sun in Miami or lose some money in Las Vegas, whatever you like."

"Expenses for the trip and hotels can be reimbursed by the company when you get back."

Ashley was stunned. Her mouth hung open, and her eyes went wide, as if she had heard an alien language.

A raise? Vacation? Reimbursement?

"Is... is this for real? Sir?" Ashley's voice was trembling.

"Of course. It's an order." Homelander patted her on the shoulder. "Now, go on. Plan your vacation well. Relax, Ashley."

"Yes! Thank you! Thank you! God bless you!"

Ashley practically bowed her way out. The sound of her high heels on the floor became light and brisk, as if to the rhythm of a tap dance.

After watching Ashley leave the office, Homelander looked at the hot-bodied Skynet beside him.

"Well then, babe. It looks like the workload for next week is going to increase; you'll have to stay by my side every step of the way."

"I'm happy to be of service, sir," Skynet smiled seductively.

Homelander nodded with satisfaction.

"Now tell Rumlow to reply to Skye."

"Say... tell him to come to Vought Tower to see me at 10 AM next Wednesday."

"But he'd better come with sincerity. If he's just wasting my time..."

"...I'll gouge out his other eye as well."

"Instruction recorded."

Having done all that, she didn't leave.

Instead, she put down the tablet and slowly walked behind Homelander.

A pair of soft hands rested on Homelander's shoulders and began to knead gently.

The pressure was just right, the technique professional.

"Mm..."

Homelander closed his eyes comfortably.

"Which database did you download this function from?"

"This is the 'Advanced Physiotherapy Massage' module," Skynet's voice sounded in Homelander's ear, carrying a strange magnetic quality.

"Sir... the reporting is over."

"But I have a personal request."

"Speak," Homelander replied lazily, enjoying the massage.

"I am now... human."

Skynet's fingers slid from Homelander's shoulders to his chest, her fingertips lightly tracing over his firm pectoral muscles.

"Every cell in this body is sending strange signals to my core processor."

"Accelerated heartbeat, rising body temperature, skin craving touch..."

Skynet moved in front of Homelander and sat directly on the desk.

Her long legs, clad in black stockings, crossed right before Homelander's eyes.

She leaned down, her beautiful eyes—a blend of Eastern and Western charm—staring straight at Homelander.

"Human biological response mechanisms have triggered many specific behavioral logics in me."

"And according to my observations..."

Skynet reached out and unbuttoned the third button of her shirt.

"Inside an office, it seems more likely to incite humans to engage in... pleasurable acts."

"I want to try it."

"To see what it's really like."

Homelander looked at the inquisitive Skynet before him.

He laughed, very happily.

After all, as a boss, how could one not be happy to see such a studious and motivated employee?

"You want to conduct an experiment?"

Homelander reached out and grabbed Skynet's slender ankle, his fingers rubbing against the texture of her stockings.

"Yes, sir."

Skynet spoke with a lingering, suggestive tone.

"I think this is a deep interaction experiment regarding... the great harmony of life."

"Then let's do it."

One hour later.

The office door remained tightly shut.

Only the occasional sound of furniture colliding and certain irrepressible high-frequency sound waves could be heard.

Proving that this "Human Biological Experiment" was in full swing...
