Chapter 17 - Chapter 17: Thrown Into the Slipper

Su Qingwan finally finished this meal that combined breakfast and lunch. Although she hadn't eaten much, having food in her stomach calmed her heart.

Immediately, she also noticed the grain of rice between her toes, casually picked it up, and threw it into the nearby trash can.

Su Chen, of course, quickly retracted his small head. Although somewhat ashamed, he didn't want to be beheaded by Su Qingwan's fingernail while she was picking up the rice grain.

Su Qingwan was currently absent-minded and naturally didn't notice such a small thing in the gap between her toes.

Su Qingwan also wasn't in the mood to wash the dishes. Wearing slippers, her head drooping, she walked towards the entrance, placed the bowls and plates on the kitchen table, then went to the bathroom for a quick wash, before returning to her room to change clothes and prepare to go out.

During this entire process, Su Chen, of course, remained nestled in the soft flesh between Su Qingwan's toes. Struggle?

There was completely no need; struggle was meaningless anyway. The current Su Chen had completely gone with the flow, letting whatever happen, happen.

Su Chen had even mentally prepared himself to be enclosed within a sock along with Su Qingwan's foot, and then go out with her.

Anyway, things were already like this now, and even if he disagreed, it seemed useless.

Su Chen grew drowsy amidst a period of intense shaking-this was Su Qingwan changing clothes. By the time she finished dressing, sat on the bed, and prepared to put on her socks, her gaze fell upon the top of her foot.

Feeling as if there was something extra between her toes, she subconsciously wiggled them. The result was Su Chen beginning a magnificent free fall.

When Su Qingwan looked carefully, Su Chen had already detached from between her toes and fallen down. Naturally, she saw nothing, only thinking her earlier sensation was mistaken.

Su Chen had grown accustomed to being suddenly thrown out like this. Remembering that he had survived yesterday's far more ferocious scene completely unscathed, he wasn't worried at all now.

After all, this wasn't the first time. Since he wouldn't die, why care so much?

But Su Chen never expected that while he did land gracefully on the ground, completely unharmed, this ground was somewhat different. It wasn't the floor, but he had directly fallen into a furry world.

Su Chen's first thought was that he had fallen into the plush carpet in Su Qingwan's room, as in his mind, that was the only vast, furry jungle in her room.

But looking up, he realized something was wrong.

What was wrong?

It was, of course, the size of the sky Su Chen saw. If he had fallen into the carpet, he should be seeing the ceiling-that boundless white ceiling.

But Su Chen discovered the place he was in was like a well, with the sky appearing as a huge circle.

From here, he could just see Su Qingwan's small foot suspended high in the air. Of course, calling it a 'small foot' was still somewhat inappropriate, as for Su Chen, it was still a terrifying existence over two hundred meters long, equivalent to a small mountain.

Sniffing the surrounding smell and looking at the color of the furry jungle beside him, Su Chen immediately realized exactly where he was now.

This pink cotton thread plush jungle, the circular sky, and the towering walls in the distance all pointed to the same thing: the little pink rabbit slippers Su Qingwan usually wore on her feet.

Su Chen cried out inwardly in dismay, knowing he had fallen into Su Qingwan's slipper, and immediately realized things were definitely about to get bad.

Su Qingwan had already put on her socks by now. Needless to say, she would next step into the slippers and walk to the entryway. How could this be allowed?

Su Chen, of course, wanted to run. If he could jump fifty or sixty meters in one leap, he could directly jump out of the slipper. This fifty or sixty meters was relative to Su Chen; converted to normal units, it would be five or six centimeters.

But the current Su Chen could manage three or four meters, or even five or six meters at best. Converted, that was only a few millimeters.

This wasn't even enough to jump out of the slipper; the height of the plush jungle was taller than that.

Watching as Su Qingwan moved her foot over, the tip of her foot already touching the slipper's edge, Su Chen felt such regret. He had been perfectly fine nestled between Su Qingwan's toes earlier; why hadn't he persevered a little longer?

Now, as a result, he was about to be flattened.

Su Chen really wanted to instantly grow larger, pull Su Qingwan over, and ask her: Do you know you're about to flatten your big brother?

Of course, this was just a thought. If he really had to do it, he wouldn't dare, right?

However, Su Chen wasn't completely brainless, just standing there waiting to be flattened.

Making a rough judgment of the direction, he started running towards the arch of the slipper.

Generally, when people walk, the arch of the foot seldom exerts much force. This was why, after wearing shoes for a long time, the impression and wear at the arch area were relatively light and minimal.

The enormous foot finally inserted into the slipper, completely blotting out the sky above Su Chen's head.

Thump

With a sound, Su Qingwan's sole made full contact with the slipper, firmly planting on the ground.

Su Qingwan couldn't hear this sound-it was too far for her. But for Su Chen, it clearly resonated in his ears, as he was the special existence caught right between the two parties.

Did Su Chen manage to reach the arch area?

He did indeed run to that place, but he had misjudged one thing.

These plush slippers were different from the shoes we normally wear. They were filled with dense, soft fibers everywhere inside. Individually, one or two of these fibers were just large to Su Chen, but when compressed by external force, they deformed and became even denser.

The result was that they formed a flat surface right under Su Chen's feet, and he happened to be precisely squeezed between the slipper's plush fibers and Su Qingwan's sock.

Su Chen's heart was bitter, but this baby wouldn't say. Who could he tell that would actually hear him?

The tragic child was suppressed once again. Speaking of sadness, why did it feel a bit like schadenfreude?

But Su Chen still felt fortunate. Luckily, this wasn't inside his own slipper.

Su Qingwan's slippers had been washed just a couple of days ago, and her feet didn't have much odor. The place was now filled with the scent of laundry detergent and Su Qingwan's own fragrance, mixed with just a slight hint of sweat. The environment could still be considered acceptable.

The only problem was being stepped on was very uncomfortable, but Su Chen now counted himself lucky.

Although he was uncomfortable now, it was still better than being directly stepped on flat-that would mean complete annihilation without a trace left. By comparison, he could remain optimistic.

Su Qingwan walked a few steps to the entryway, changed her shoes, and went out. The moment she lifted her foot, the slipper's heel was lifted along with it.

Su Chen, who was originally being pressed down, under the effect of gravity, unsurprisingly rolled directly down this slope into the deepest, darkest part of the slipper.

As for Su Qingwan, after changing her shoes, she, of course, hurriedly opened the door and went out.

She was now going to the police station to report a missing person. Twenty-four hours had passed; the police station could officially file the case.
