Chapter 51 - A medical Uchiha cap 51

Although they had been in conflict since World War I, the two villages reached a silent agreement to temporarily halt their fighting in order to deal with the Leaf Village first.

Of course, neither of the two villages trusted the other and they still kept their armies between their borders.

Everyone was sure that if either of them showed any weakness, the other would quickly seize the opportunity.

While the two villages were keeping an eye on each other, they were also on alert for the Leaf ninjas' attack.

As long as the Leaf Village shows any weakness, they would attack with all their might, and they were sure that other villages would join them if they hadn't already, to also invade the Land of Fire.

But just like them, the sand village also failed in their plans.

And they were even suffering more losses and were being pushed back to the land of the wind.

What no one expected was that Sakumo would become furious about the sneak attack on his camp and the murder of most of his doctors.

Leading a few people, Sakumo went out in search of blood and began a massacre among the sand ninjas.

As an ambush squad, Sakumo led his small team to harass the supply lines and scouts of the Sand ninjas, instilling fear in their enemies and spreading the name of Konoha's White Fang throughout the world.

Crumpling the letter and setting it on fire, Kitsuchi raised his voice to summon his confidants at the camp with the aim of forming a new battle plan.

The ninjas of the Rock Village were not going to give up so easily.

On the other side of the battlefield, Tsunade led a last-minute operation to save the life of a Chunin poisoned by the Sand Village's poison.

And in addition to her, 2 of her shadow clones were also attending to 2 patients in critical condition.

Taking her disciple's advice, Tsunade used shadow clones to increase the camp's medical capacity.

Especially after the loss of almost all the medical ninjas and with the surprise attacks of the sand ninjas.

Although most of the sand ninja had retreated due to Hatake Sakumo's active presence on the battlefield hunting sand ninja, many sand ninja still managed to sneak in to attack, and this chunin was one of the unfortunate ones who were attacked.

At first, the chunin didn't have much hope because this poison had been recently developed by the Sand Village and had no known antidote.

The only thing the leaf doctors could do was inject all the antidotes at their disposal and hope that the ninja would fight on his own if he wanted to live.

But luckily for him, Tsunade had arrived at the camp and was able to save his life by quickly developing an antidote for the new poison from the Sand Village.

And not only him.

Because he had more chakra due to being from the Senju clan, he could create shadow clones to heal more patients.

Of course, he couldn't do many because memory feedback was dangerous.

After seeing that the patient was stable, Tsunade sighed and left him in the hands of other doctors.

Her two shadow clones had also finished before her and disappeared when she gave them the signal.

Rubbing her temples, Tsunade grimaced at the memories that filled her mind.

After a few minutes, Tsunade was ready to retire for the day.

Since the other patients were not in serious condition and could be treated by other doctors, Tsunade was able to retire to rest in her own tent.

Along the way, his ears involuntarily picked up the conversations around him and he heard the admiration that many ninjas had for Hatake Sakumo.

Thinking about the man, Tsunade considered the difference between Hatake Sakumo and White Fang.

In the village, Tsunade only knew Hatake Sakumo as the family man who was nervous when his wife was pregnant.

Although she knew that as an ANBU commander the man was dangerous, Tsunade knew Hatake Sakumo as a man who sadly lost his wife during childbirth and retired to raise his son.

Unfortunately, the war started a year later and he had to come out of retirement to protect the country from an invasion of other villages.

It was only on the battlefield that the name White Fang became known outside of ANBU's secret missions.

And speaking of the man, his ears heard the noise in the distance and he saw the man returning to the camp as he was greeted with applause by the other ninjas in the camp.

Although injuries and deaths have not stopped, Sakumo's performance on the battlefield resulted in his camp having a lower death rate compared to the battlefield in the land of grass.

If the Rain Village weren't occupied with three other villages randomly attacking to keep Hanzo busy, Orochimaru's camp wouldn't be as secure as it is now and would be behind this camp.

After all, Hanzo's poison would produce a massacre on the battlefield.

But at least Tsunade gained something good from studying Hanzo's poison.

Her poison detoxification skills had progressed, and the poisons of the sand ninjas were no longer so difficult for her to decipher, although they always try to produce new poisons.

Watching Sakumo walk through the camp and smile at everyone who greeted him, you couldn't imagine he was the dreaded White Fang.

Like Torifu, Hatake Sakumo did not actively seek out fighting, and his camp remained quiet during the lull in the war, which is why the two villages thought the Leaf Village was weak.

Of course, his camp suffered a great loss recently, and Sakumo has been constantly going to the battlefield to kill his enemies.

Tsunade heard that Chiyo's son and daughter-in-law died at Sakumo's hands when they created trouble to lure him out of the camp and attack the doctors.

Although they accomplished their mission, Tsunade was certain they hadn't expected to die at Sakumo's hands.

Tsunade heard that Chiyo had gone crazy and was able to understand the woman a little despite being enemies.

If Orochimaru hadn't killed those ninjas who set the traps that killed his brother, Tsunade would be the same as Chiyo and would go out in search of revenge.

But like her, Chiyo was also unable to get revenge.

The woman went out onto the battlefield to fight Sakumo but was unable to complete her revenge due to the difference in power and was only able to escape because of the presence of her brother and the sacrifice of a group of sand ninjas who stayed behind to stop Sakumo and died in the process.

The Sakumo of today was very different from the Sakumo at the beginning of the war.

At the beginning of the war, Sakumo did not actively attack the sand ninjas.

He was just defending himself.

But unlike Torifu, who had no interest in invading the land of earth and preferred to spend his time eating or sleeping, Hatake Sakumo did it out of a sense of duty towards his comrades.

Although injuries and deaths were inevitable in war, Sakumo did not want to put his comrades in unnecessary danger and stopped the attacks when the war was temporarily paused.

Although he knew this pause was only temporary and that the villages were gathering resources to continue the war afterward, Sakumo was confident that with his presence the sand ninjas would not be able to advance any further into the land of fire.

Of course, when they suffered such a loss, Sakumo began the massacre.

Aware of the amount of loss on both sides, Tsunade wondered if the wars would ever stop.

Because of the war, she lost her younger brother.

Because of the war, Chiyo lost her son and set out to kill more Leaf ninjas with her puppets and new poisons, causing more pain to the families of the deceased.

It was a cycle of endless pain.

Were the wars ever going to stop?

Tsunade thought of her disciple and remembered the few conversations they had about the war when she lost her brother or before she went to the battlefield.

'Humans yearn for peace, but we are very good at war'

'Especially if we derive significant benefits from them'

And speaking of her disciple, as she was heading towards her tent, she was approached by a Genin and received a letter.

With the letter in her hand, Tsunade smiled because she already knew part of its contents.

Apart from any news, his disciple often writes him jokes, to lighten his spirits according to him, and always made him smile even when it was a bad day during the war.
