Chapter 21 - A medical Uchiha cap 21

Will there always be wars?

Natsuo's words gave both women pause for thought for the rest of lunch.

After Natsuo left and Nawaki went out to see her friends, Tsunade and Mito stayed behind talking about the blonde's daily life in the hospital.

"Grandma, will there always be wars?" Tsunade asked.

Tsuande was just a little girl when the first world war happened, but she perfectly remembered the sadness that was felt every time news of someone's death arrived.

And after so many years, Tsunade could feel the increasing tension between countries due to border conflicts.

"..."

Sigh*

Mito wanted to tell her granddaughter that there would be no more wars in the world, but she knew it was a lie and sighed resignedly.

Her husband founded the Hidden Leaf Village and sought a peace alliance between all countries and villages, but it was in vain because right after his death a world ninja war broke out.

"People are... complicated"

"We are full of desire for a world of peace, but there will always be something that will force us to fight for it."

"As the boy mentioned, resources are limited, and that's one of the biggest reasons for wars."

"Things like hatred between both sides only make the conflict erupt faster."

Mito said what she thought, and Tsunade was lost in her thoughts.

Natsuo, meanwhile, walked through the village on his way to the Uchiha clan compound.

As he walked, his mind was occupied with the conversation he had had a few moments ago.

The reason he trained every day without rest was because he knew his words would come true in the future and he would have to fight in two world wars in the next 20 years.

When he was taken as an apprentice by Tsunade, Natsuo knew and resigned himself to participating in the upcoming world wars.

Even if he was a doctor, as Tsunade's apprentice he would have to go to the front lines to care for wounded ninjas.

Knowing this, he didn't dare take a single day to rest.

Will their presence somehow prevent future world wars from happening?

Natsuo never dreamed of that because he was sure that ninja wars were inevitable.

Even if the ninja villages did not want to go to war, they would be forced to fight.

The reason?

Lack of funds to support the village.

Although it is said that ninjas live by doing missions, the missions only provide a small part of the resources needed to maintain the village.

What sustained a village were the funds contributed by the Daimyo every year.

And those funds were not unlimited.

Besides keeping his own wealth in his hands, a Daimyo wouldn't be very safe with such a large military force in his territory.

The funds that a Daimyo provides to the ninja village in his country are limited and he will not give more than is necessary, but the population of a ninja village will not stop growing just because the Daimyo does not provide enough funds.

When a village's population grows large enough and they no longer have sufficient resources to sustain themselves, only war can force the Daimyo to release more funds.

The fact that their numbers were also decreasing was a positive addition.

As for killing the Daimyo and taking control of the country into their own hands?

That never crossed the minds of the Kage of the ninja villages for 2 simple reasons.

The first was that they didn't know how to govern a country and would be busier every day.

And the second and most important reason is that other countries would not stand idly by and would attack them claiming they were seeking justice.

Meanwhile, Natsuo arrived at the orphanage and went inside.

I greet the matron, several women who worked at the orphanage, and the other children before going up to my room.

Time passed and Natsuo would soon begin his third year at the academy.

Tsunade had told him that he should graduate from the academy and work at the hospital full-time.

Natsuo had demonstrated that he could heal bones optimally and could work at the hospital from now on.

What about more advanced procedures such as the repair of internal organs?

That would be taught to him as the years went by.

When he was offered the opportunity to graduate, Natsuo thought about it for a moment and finally shook his head.

Although the academy was useless now, it gave Natsuo an excuse to have free time.

If he started working at the hospital now, his training time would be greatly reduced.

Tsunade accepted his refusal and didn't think about the matter anymore.

Right now, Natsuo was in his room manipulating the bones of a mouse.

'80%' and after analyzing the data, Natsuo smiled when he modified the bones of a mouse for the first time.

In comparison to other mice whose bones Natsuo had gradually strengthened through destruction and healing, this mouse had never been touched by Natsuo and was able to strengthen its bones on the first try.

By simulating the strengthened bones of other mice, Natsuo manipulated this mouse's bones to have the internal structure of strengthened bones.

And on the first attempt, he was able to strengthen the bones of this mouse by 80%.

Happy, Natsuo continued experimenting with new mice.

Regarding manipulating their muscles, tendons, and bones?

Natsuo didn't plan to do that anytime soon because manipulating a mouse's body was very different from manipulating a human's body.

Natsuo will wait until he has experimental subjects in the future before thinking about modifying his own body.

After finishing his experiments for the day, Natsuo showered and changed before going to sleep.

The next morning, Natsuo could be seen running around the Uchiha clan compound.

After feeling his legs get tired, he would stop and hide among some bushes before using medical Ninjutsu to heal his leg muscles and the rest of his body.

Once recovered, Natsuo did not continue his training. Instead, he began to perform various exercises to work all the muscles in his body.

And when his whole body was sweating, Natsuo would stop and continue his run around the Uchiha clan before stopping again and using medical Ninjutsu to heal his tired body.

In this way, Natsuo continued for 2 hours before stopping and returning to the orphanage.

As his body grew and he was no longer very small, Natsuo began to perform harder physical training and increased the difficulty as he grew.

After showering and having breakfast, Natsuo headed to the hospital and returned in the afternoon to continue his experimentation with the mouse bones.

Since he was able to strengthen the bones of the mice, Natsuo could continue his experiments to strengthen muscles and tendons.

In this way, early in the morning he would train his body before going to the hospital and in the afternoon he would carry out his experiments.

And at night, before going to sleep, he practiced his chakra control.

While he had a single leaf stuck to his skin on his forehead and limbs, Natsuo had different colored sand in the palms of his hands.

Natsuo manipulated the sand on the palms of his hands to take on different shapes every minute.

When he finished forming one animal, he would begin to 'draw' another.

This chakra control exercise was already very easy for Natsuo, so he thought of an idea to increase the difficulty.

And from each of his arms, a chakra cord emerged from one of his tenketsu and carried a kunai at each of its ends.

For now there were only 2 Kunai, but seeing that this exercise was getting easier, Natsuo thought about increasing the number of sheets stuck to his body or changing the kunai for other heavier objects.

After practicing his chakra control to the point of exhaustion, Natsuo's body was sweating and at that moment he stopped.

After resting for a minute, Natsuo took a bath and ate some food he had saved for this situation before going to sleep.

Although it was later than his usual bedtime, Natsuo didn't mind because he didn't plan on getting up as early as usual.

Tomorrow was the start of classes at the ninja academy, so he didn't plan on having his physical training.

The next morning, he got up and washed his teeth and face before changing his clothes and going downstairs for breakfast.

After saying goodbye to everyone, Natsuo went to the academy along with another group of orphans.

Among them were the youngest children who would be entering the academy for the first time.

Seeing them so nervous, she remembered her own experience at that moment and sighed at how quickly time passes.

While Natsuo was thinking about his progress over the past few years, the group arrived at the academy.
