Chapter 10 - A medical Uchiha cap 10

Even a father who cared for his son took him to war; Natsuo could not imagine what these elderly Uchiha would do to him, who was not his blood relative.

So he prefers to make his position clear from the beginning before being adopted.

If the old man Uchiha does not keep his word, and even if no one wants to adopt him, Natsuo prefers to return to the orphanage.

"Kid, it's a waste of your talent if you become a medical ninja."

"The Uchiha clan is the strongest clan in the village, and we didn't get that title by going around healing people," said the elder of the Hawk faction.

"Um... my parents died a few years ago, I want to be a medical ninja to save people," Natsuo said with his head down, acting like a child his age.

Upon hearing the boy, the others understood the reason for the boy's desire to be a medical ninja.

But even so, everyone still thought it was a waste to have him as a medical ninja with his talent.

"Do you want to be a medical ninja? You can go to the Uchiha hospital and begin your apprenticeship."

Before the elderly Uchiha of the Hawk faction could open his mouth to convince Natsuo of the error of his ways, Eiichiro opened his mouth first and offered Natsuo an apprenticeship at the clan hospital.

As a large clan, the Uchiha clan had its own hospital with its own medical ninjas who cared for its clan members.

Only in cases where they needed help did patients go to the village hospital.

"Really? Thank you so much, clan leader!" Natsuo said as he bowed to Eiichiro, expressing his gratitude.

As long as he becomes a medical ninja in the coming years, he will be able to avoid being sent to the front lines during the world wars.

"As long as you give your best effort, the clan will ensure you become an excellent medical ninja," Eiichiro said with a smile as he glanced sideways at the elder of the Hawk faction.

Seeing the frown on the face of the old man from the Hawk faction out of the corner of his eyes, Eiichiro's smile grew as he denied the old man the adoption of the child.

Although Natsuo was just a child and didn't mean much in the grand scheme of things, Eiichiro didn't want the Hawk faction to grow more than necessary, so he intervened to provide a solution for the boy who wanted to be a doctor.

Did you think it would be a waste of a child's talent?

Of course, but Eiichiro preferred that to the Hawk faction winning this time. It was bad enough that his plans had failed, so he didn't want the Hawk faction training the boy and potentially gaining a future Jonin.

Eiichiro saw Sanjiro again and entrusted him with guiding the boy through the procedures so that he could receive an apprenticeship at the hospital.

Sanjiro accepted the task and left the place with Natsuo by his side.

Behind them, the meeting continued, mentioning only a few more topics before concluding the meeting until next time.

Regarding the adoption of an orphaned genius to change his life and contribute to the clan, as mentioned by many before the meeting?

It was tacitly ignored by everyone.

No one else mentioned the subject as the meeting ended and they left the sanctuary.

If the boy wants to be a doctor, let him be one. This didn't affect them or the clan.

In any case, the child did not belong to their immediate families.

At the same time, in the Hokage's office, the Third Hokage was meeting with his best friend discussing what happened at the academy.

Could an orphaned Uchiha defend himself against Nawaki Senju?

That was not important to Hiruzen Sarutobi and Danzo Shimura.

The Uchiha boy did not have the Sharingan and in the end lost against Nawaki.

Even if the child showed more talent in the future, they could quietly take care of him.

The reason for their meeting was to talk about the grandson of the first Hokage.

They had previously seen the boy and learned of his great chakra capacity, and the ease with which he learned water and earth jutsus showed that the boy had a great affinity for both elements.

Although it was not certain that the child would awaken the Wood Release, the child would surely become a powerful shinobi in the future and lead the Senju clan.

Or what's left of him.

The Senju clan ceased to be the great clan it was in the Era of the Warring Clans.

In addition to many of its members marrying and abandoning the Senju surname as requested by the first and second Hokage, many members of the Senju clan died during the first ninja world war.

Now there were few Senju left, and they hoped Nawaki would lead the Senju clan to victory. And the more talent Nawaki demonstrated, the more enthusiastic the remaining members of the Senju clan became.

Feelings that the village's senior management did not share.

Although the Senju clan was the clan of their master and the one who supported them along with Mito Uzumaki so that Hiruzen could take the hat, it was bad news for them if the Senju clan rose again.

If it were years earlier, they would be happy that the Senju clan would rise again and raise the strength of the village.

But now it's different.

When the village was founded, many important village positions were held by the Senju clan and other confidants of the Second Hokage. And when the Third Hokage came to power, he placed his own people in the vacant positions.

As time passed, the Senju clan declined and more positions became available.

It was at that moment that they realized the benefits that could be obtained by having those positions in their hands.

Thanks to the resources they could secretly divert, the clans of the Hokage and the 3 Elders were able to grow rapidly in recent years.

And since they ruled the village, it was easy to hide that growth.

If the Senju clan rises again, it will be very easy for them to regain power simply by relying on their founding village states.

They didn't want that.

Besides the Senju clan, the Uchiha clan were the other possible candidates for Hokage.

And not only because of their contributions to the founding of the village, but also because of the strength of the Uchiha clan.

The Sharingan was a trap, only allowing a ninja to reach the Jounin rank upon awakening a Sharingan of 3 tomoe.

The four leaders of Konoha knew from the second Hokage how dangerous the Uchiha could be and how easy it was for them to gain power.

In addition to their prejudices inherited from the Second Hokage, the four leaders of Konoha targeted the Uchiha clan because if there was one clan they could lose the leadership of the village to besides the Senju clan, it was the Uchiha clan.

That's why they were watching the Uchiha clan, and Danzo was secretly kidnapping Uchihas on missions to study the Sharingan.

Of course, besides the Uchiha clan, they did not ignore the other founding clan of the village.

But since the Senju clan was the founding clan of the village and the clan of their master, the Second Hokage, they didn't know how to act against them.

"Hiruzen, the old man Tsujita has once again opposed the increase in money to buy weapons," Koharu said.

"The elder Otani did not change his mind either," Homura said.

The village had 10 elders who made many decisions in the village when the third Hokage took power.

As time passed and the village's weapons department became vacant, Homura was able to take the position and had a large amount of village money at her disposal.

With a little of that money, they were able to help their clans grow, and they couldn't imagine if they could divert even more money.

Of course, it wouldn't be that easy since an increase in the normal budget for the purchase of village weapons had to be approved by the village elders.

Hiruzen and his friends had been rejected many times by both old men, and now it bothered them more and more.

Given the close relationship these elders had with the Senju clan, the four couldn't help but think that the elders and the Senju clan were in cahoots.

And the other village elders were not far behind, as they had also opposed the Hokage in many other decisions.

This made Hiruzen want to get rid of all these elders and take all the power of the village himself.

As for how to deal with these elders and the Senju clan?

"Danzo, I'm leaving this to you."

Hiruzen left the problem in the hands of his best friend before the meeting ended.

In any case, it was for cases like these that Hiruzen allowed the creation of Root, even if it was not under his control.

If any problem arose, Danzo would be the one to take the blame.
