Chapter 39 - Chapter 39 ‘Eyes of God’

"I just want to live please I will do anything." A female Demi-human, it was Alice Wonderland.

"They let you out of prison?" Charles asked. Looking at the beaten and bloody Alice she smiled.

"Good to see you too Madhatter." Alice said with a smile.

"Same as well cat." Charles said with a smile. Her brown hair dye was all over the floor showing the black hair. A black cat I thought was wiped out by my army over 1,000 years ago. As we see a mountain of white fur. It was a massive bear towering over all of the trees. It was standing on its hind legs.

"Aaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!" Its massive roar verberated around the forest. But I see it was covered in wounds. Crimson red blood matted its fur. It was on the death door. The smell of rotting flesh filled the air. Bear slammed both of its paws into the ground. Snow shot out. It was such a huge amount of snow. It launched Charles away.

"Come on how strong it is." I said to no one I was far in the air. It was on the death door. Charles was standing in front of it.

"Starlight: Blaze." Charles said as out of his hand a flame of Starlight launched into the bear face. The white flames were burning on its face. It let out a massive bowl of pain. Its paw struck like thunder on Charles.

"Charles!" I yelled.

"Charles!" Alice yelled at the same time. As we see Charles holding up his paw with both arms. He was glowing with starlight. He really has gotten stronger.

"I refuse to die here." Charles said as he slowly was lifting the paw of the bear. It seemed to growl at Charles. Saliva flowing from its mouth like a river.

"You can't out muscle it!" I yelled but that plea fell on deaf ears. As Charles started to glow bright with more Starlight. He started to push the paw up even more. Nevermind.

"This thing is heavy, it's going to be a good meal." Charles said his mind clearly on food. As he then pushed the paw fully up he ran out of the paw. That smashed into the ground. Sending a shockwave. Snow blankets all of them. It was like mist. I could only see the snow in the air. As I could sense both of them.

"Aaaaaaarrrrrrggggh!" The bear roared. Scattering the snow in all directions, clearing the snow in air. Allowing me to see both of them. It seemed enraged.

"Let's run!" Alice yelled. Looking at Charles with tearful eyes.

"No, this thing will become my dinner. You can run if you want to Cat." Charles said glowing with a decent amount of starlight. He walks forward. The bear raises its massive paw like a guillotine. Suddenly it slams down. As Charles hits it wrist causing the sound of bone snapping to fill the silent air.

"What the hell." I said as I looked into his eyes. His pupils were in the form of a six pointed star. Iris was completely yellow and the sclera was pitch black like the night sky.

"What in the world?" Alice asked, looking at Charles.

"I can see your weak spots, your openings." Charles launches himself off the wrist. Hit the lower part of the jaw. It completely launched out hitting the ground with a thunderous thud. Painting the snow a vibrant crimson. What was happening.

"What on the earth? Those eyes, what are they?" I asked myself. Charles drop kicked it in the shoulder. A roaring cracking sound was heard as the bear was now laying in the snow. It was there completely dead. Charles' eyes turned back to normal.

"What the hell." Charles said. Opening and closing his hand rapidly and confused.

"No way those eyes were. The Dues Stella the eyes of god. It allows you to see everything and as well see the future." Alice said, bowing with her forehead on the ground.

"Why are you bowing?" Charles said, looking at Alice.

"Because my god. The Black Cats at the start of the age of Chaos were saved by someone with those eyes. He slaughtered a million monsters in an instant. We owe our lives to this god. We were following the Moonlight Compass." Alice said quickly.

"Moonlight Compass?" Charles asked. Alice nodded with such joy.

"He had a gauntlet that covered the arm, a compass, a book, a sword, a cloak and White Displacer Beast." Alice said quickly and with such happiness she was bouncing in place. Nodding extremely and over exaggerated motions.

"Well, let's go back to camp." Charles said, grabbing one of the massive fangs of the bear chaos beast. Feeling a presence behind us. Charles was already dragging the body. I stayed flying.

"Sharp instinct no wonder you're the progenitor. Valtina. But I wanted to talk." The voice said the air got cold.

"Who are you?" I asked, cursing myself for sounding scared.

"I am Amarok." Amarok said as I turned around to see someone in a cloak and had a mask of a wolf only showing me his eyes. His pupils were in the form of a six pointed star. Iris was completely yellow and the sclera was pitch black like the night sky. It was the exact same as Charles.

"What do you want?" I asked. Looking at him. He had two short swords. Amarok silver hair waved in the wind.

"To see my brother. Hope you like my gift of our father's mask." Amarok said with a wave. His eyes made me wonder why he was talking to me.

"Okay." I said I sounded just scared. Damn it puts on a strong face. I was basically frozen in fear.

"Tell anyone and I will kill you." Amarok's threatening voice sent shivers down my spine. He was just like Hellsing. As he disappeared like he never existed. Was I imagining things? No, the fear felt too real. But how did he know Charles would be here?
