Chapter 69- My Partner
"E… lio?" Fiona called for him, but the boy didn't reply. Her face darkened visibly, worry clear in her eyes. The boy's injuries had finally caught up to him, and he apparently fainted. Still, her heart squeezed with worry as she watched him there, unable to do anything about it.
"Elio… Elio…" She called for him, in hopes of his hearing her voice. But, to no avail, the boy was completely out of it. But, at the same time, she could see faint blood traces around him, indicating that he was still bleeding.
'He had sustained so many injuries… Even absorbing the blood didn't help much. Dammit, he needs immediate help.' She cursed inwardly as she looked outside. There were no signs of her people coming yet.
'Move… I need to move!'
But her spine hasn't healed yet; she was completely paralyzed from head to toe. She cannot even move her arm. All she could do was push her aura toward Elio to make sure his heart was beating, and he was alive.
