Chapter 67- Blood Momentum (Part 2)
The swarm didn't even wait a second to attack Elio. Like a giant black cloud, they flew toward him, aiming to skewer him ruthlessly. The sight was soul-shaking, to say the least. Elio felt his senses kick in as he quickly turned toward Fiona. He cannot pick her up and escape in time, so he decided to do something different.
Turning to face the other direction, he dashed away from Fiona, pulling the bats with him. Luckily, they seemed more focused on him as none tried to approach Fiona. He ran around before he headed deeper into the cave to lure them in.
At the same time, he started channeling his Blood Energy as he turned around and sliced with his sword. At the same time, a bat had approached him and tried to stab him in the back of the head. However, the sword was ready to meet it halfway before it could touch him, severing its body in half with great ease.
