Chapter 5 - A Small Break Through 2

Quickly, Yuan Long ran the Warp Sovereign Cultivation art at full speed, using the explosive surge of power he was experiencing to quickly cultivate multiple aspects of his body simultaneously.

But this rapid cultivation caused the illusion of the dragon in the sky to grow more solid and real with each passing second. It let out a thunderous roar that shook the very fabric of reality and forgetthose of this plane, for those of the higher realms were absolutely horrified, scared shitless by the sight of the vast dragon which shot out of the lower realm like a meteor, and into the immortal realm above, flying all over the 9 heavens in a display of overwhelming power, letting the entire world know that a peerless genius had been born…

Back to Yuan Long, he was currently looking at his palm with a light smile of satisfaction playing across his young face. For he had cultivated his entire body to the absolute peak of the mortal realm in one explosive session.

Be it his blood flowing through his veins, his organs functioning within him, his bones supporting his frame, his eyes seeing the world, his nails, his hair, his 5 senses perceiving reality, and even his brain processing everything, his whole body was at the very limit of what the mortal realm could sustain.

[Name: Yuan long

Yeah, his body had reached the absolute peak of the mortal realm in terms of physical refinement, he still had no actual cultivation level yet or any real Qi flowing through his meridians, but he was already equal to a level 3 Martial Apprentice in terms of raw physical power and capabilities… that was surprisingly good and impressive for someone who hadn't even started true cultivation or opened their first meridian.

But there was more he could do to push himself further beyond these limits, at least that's what he thought while looking at this situation carefully and analyzing all the possibilities available to him.

Stepping backwards mentally to examine the bigger picture, Yuan Long gave the mortal realm 9 distinct levels in his cultivation system, establishing the foundation, meaning right now he was sitting at level 9 of the mortal realm, or level 9 of a normal human without any cultivation whatsoever. So, shouldn't there logically be a level 10 to complete the traditional sequence and round out the foundation?

Those cultivation novels he'd read in his past life on Earth normally had one at level 1 to 3 temper one specific part of the body in the foundation stage, building the base.

Level 4 to 6 would temper another distinct part of the body, building upon the first foundation that had been laid, and level 7 to 9 was its own separate part of the body being refined and strengthened, with level 10 traditionally being an overall improvement stage, like going back and improving everything you'd already cultivated to absolute perfection.

So, why didn't he have that crucial final level in his system? Also, why were there no levels 11 and 12? Why did the other part of the body get not 1 but 3 whole levels, while the whole body being cultivated to perfection only got 1?

The previous stages had 3 levels each dedicated to different aspects of body cultivation, but for the overall improvement part that should consolidate everything, it only had 1 level? He wanted to be truly overpowered beyond anyone's imagination in this world, so he couldn't let go of such obvious rooms to improve and reach higher peaks that others would never even consider.

So, he realized with growing clarity that he had to go back and improve on his body's foundation, not once, but 3 separate times to match the established pattern and reach true perfection.

Luckily, he had made sure to carefully scan through all the cultivation arts in detail before he fused them together with the Warp Sovereign Cultivation art, so he had the Martial God Space put him in a deep state of enlightenment while he went over everything stored in his memory, reviewing countless techniques from dozens of different worlds.

This careful process took a few focused minutes of deep meditation before he finally found a way to do what he had planned for, and began cultivating immediately without wasting another second.

As he cultivated in his backyard, completely absorbed in his breakthrough and the energy flowing through him, the elder from the Unbreakable Iron Sect quickly left the village with Lue Lu in tow, giving her and the other new disciples no time to stay back and say goodbye to anyone they knew or loved in the village. After seeing that terrifying dragon manifest in the sky with such overwhelming power, he was scared shitless and wanted to leave immediately before something worse happened.

Everyone in the village locked themselves away in their homes, barring doors and shuttering windows, too scared to go outside out of fear of the scary dragon returning or other terrible calamities befalling them for witnessing such a phenomenon.

So, for the whole night, things were peaceful and quiet for Yuan Long, who, after a whole night of intense, focused cultivation without any breaks or interruptions, broke through to level 10, then 11, and finally level 12 mortal Tempering, completing the three additional levels he'd discovered and mapped out in his system.

It would have been significantly faster if circumstances were different, but sadly, he didn't have pills or spirit stones readily available for to use; it had forced him to get spirit stones directly from the system shop using oen of the rewards from the hidden quest he completed, which he then put into his Martial God Space to help him cultivate at dramatically accelerated speeds.

Luckily, at his current low level of cultivation, just the single spirit stone he had gotten was enough for him to cultivate for a long time without needing more expensive resources.

'This is cool, even before I start cultivating for real, I'm already equal to a level 6 Martial Apprentice.' He thought with a wide grin spreading across his young face, flexing his hand experimentally and feeling his newfound strength coursing through every single fiber of his being.

Of course, once he finally reaches level 1 Martial Apprentice and begins true cultivation, his strength would explode exponentially beyond his current power level, since at that crucial point he would actually be able to truly temper his body without any worry about hitting the limit of his mortal body's capacity.

In fact, every single level in the Martial Apprentice realm for him would be broken down into even more sub-levels for maximum refinement. Each individual sub level focuses on specific aspects like blood quality, bone density, muscle strength, and such stuff throughout his entire body. Every single part of his body would be systematically improved through dedicated, focused cultivation.

In fact, right now, one could accurately say he was at level 0 Martial Apprentice 12th stage, having completed the mortal realm foundation perfectly but not yet stepped into true cultivation.

But this was just the body cultivation path he'd completed; there was still the Qi cultivation path and the soul cultivation path that needed to be developed and strengthened. Since he had nothing better to do with his time and the village was still locked down in fear of the dragon, he moved on to cultivating his Soul next.

What he had for the soul path was simple in concept. The soul was pretty much the spiritual body, housing both the spirit and will of a person within its ethereal form. So, his soul cultivation was broken down into many distinct parts that each served a specific function.

The first being soul tempering, which focuses specifically on making the soul incredibly durable and resistant to spiritual damage, mind cultivation, which focuses on making one's mind so overwhelmingly powerful it could affect reality itself through sheer mental force, will cultivation, which focuses on strengthening willpower and dao heart to unshakeable levels that could withstand any tribulation, spirit cultivation, which focuses on cultivating pretty much the Qi of the soul, the spiritual energy that fueled everything.

His Qi cultivation path focuses on cultivating Qi in all of its many forms and variations across different energy systems. It allows him to absorb all forms of energy from any source imaginable and control them all with equal proficiency and mastery.

The quality and quantity both had to be cultivated up to a specific required level before breaking through to the next stage, and the level of strength and density of his Qi also had to reach a predetermined threshold before a breakthrough could occur, although it could go beyond those minimums if he pushed harder and invested more effort.

This careful balance and methodology, of course, was designed to maximize his combat power so he could skip levels in battle against stronger opponents… although at this early stage of his journey, he would mainly be forming the solid foundation for the Qi Sea that would store all his accumulated energy.

Now, this would shock most cultivators if they knew the truth, but with all of this incredible complexity and the detailed nature of his cultivation system, the sheer amount of energy he needed for a single breakthrough was absolutely vast and staggering compared to normal paths, but the warp cultivation art minimized the requirement for energy through its efficient and optimized design.

Of course, even with that reduction, the energy requirement for each breakthrough would still be vast compared to normal cultivators following simpler paths, thanks to how incredibly detailed everything would be and how many different aspects needed to be perfected simultaneously.

Oh, did he almost forget about the sea of cultivation arts he had absorbed and fused together into one unified system? But for now, he couldn't actually use any of the special abilities of those cultivation arts in combat or daily life, mainly thanks to needing to be an actual cultivator first with Qi flowing through his meridians, which he wasn't yet.
