Chapter 597 - Beş Yüz Doksan Yedi

When Nafız waved her hand, an earth-yellow fortress appeared in the empty area; it had metal walls, and the hole on the side facing them stood out.

"Something I got from the Mercenaries a long time ago; let me shrink its size and make your job harder!"

The walls possessing a wide interior space began to shrink, and as they shrank, they became thicker. When its dimensions finally shrank enough to hold only one person inside, the density of the metal reached its highest level. It could now be used as a target to be hit with a fist, but Alyon hadn't made a move yet.

"Inside your arm, there are cavities where energy can be charged, you must have felt these. Now activate the ammunition there and direct it to the target along with your fist."

Michelangelo had possessed mechanical limbs for a long time; they weren't just things possessing a matte black color and the same features as normal limbs either. Following his advice would definitely work; Alyon had closed his eyes and was trying to focus.

"One, two, and three; I feel elemental energy in my wrist, my elbow, and my shoulder joint, but why are they so unstable? It's as if they want to blow up the mechanical arm and escape, don't they recognize my superiority?"

Alyon's body, his eyes closed, began to be covered with black energy containing crimson lines inside. He was releasing his Lineage Power to form a circle one step away from him, and his left arm in particular was the place where the energy extending to the sky in the form of a pillar was most dense.

"That's it; this arm is mine, and you will do whatever I say!"

Taking a step forward, the Orc Chief pulled his left arm back, touched the target with his right hand, and then delivered the expected punch. The wide flatland, which had hosted the noise of energy weapons for a day, shook with the violence of the explosion; the mutant orcs were so scared that they fell to their knees and took their heads between their hands.

The mobile fortress, densified to the size of a tiny area, was flying; it was like a comet moving backwards, with a trail consisting of ember fire behind it. When it fell to the ground, it was hundreds of steps away; its journey was spectacular, but that wasn't the main eye-catching element.

In the direction Alyon swung his fist, a crimson path one step wide and a hundred steps long had formed. The earth was burning, the air was burning, and whatever belonged to nature had disappeared. The destruction created by Alyon's new arm combining with the ammunition of the Ember Blaze weapon was something like this.

"The ammunition the Empire of Machines forces use comes via the Hell Realm, and for now you only have the chance to make this attack two more times. The emptied ammunition slot will become reusable within a day; when we reach the Balsici Army, you can fill it with any elemental power you want!"

Alyon wasn't listening to what the young engineer was saying; his gazes were on the path of death he had created. The pile of metal they used as a target had turned to ash before it even touched the ground; the extras of his new arm were spectacular.

"The Golden Leaf Guild forces have taken heavy damage; we must begin the counterattack as soon as possible. I am sending word to Hammerforger, let them advance without stopping and catch up to us in the shortest time. Our target is the center city of the Golden Leaf Merchant Guild!"

Alyon wasn't thinking of turning back; after sending off the mechanical hawk, he turned his face to his new target. At the other end of the continent, someone else had also turned his face to the enemy, but where he was, he was also the target of the enemy.

The deadline given by Franz, in the position of the leader of the Companions of Light forces, had expired. Today, a battle would be fought for the head of Joshua sitting on the platform in the middle of his army. Franz and his forces had no intention of attacking; while behind the energy barrier covering the front of the giant wall, they were unarmed.

Unlike them, the other four Lands of Light forces were looking forward to this morning. This was the most important opportunity they caught to become the Nakitav leader. When they returned home with the head of the new king of their mortal enemies, they wouldn't need to do anything else; when the time came, that seat would naturally be offered to them.

"Half an hour later, the weapons on the Death Pass will be fired for once only, and when this happens, you will be able to step outside the energy shield. Returning won't be possible for two hours; during this time, we will neither be able to protect you nor launch an attack!"

General Balbazar was explaining the situation to the allied forces that were about to go on the attack, but it was doubtful he was being taken seriously. The young mages, with their noses in the air, were too lazy to listen to him; they were waiting for him to shut up as soon as possible.

"I don't know when was the last time you fought the Hell Realm forces or if you have ever experienced such a thing, but there have been very big changes in the last five years. Thanks to the support of the Orc Empire, your arch-enemy has managed to regain strength. If you are not careful, things you do not want can happen to you!"

Alaben snapped at the Lands of Light forces, who were here under the name of allies but only caused trouble. The attitudes of the young mages were angering him, and Alaben wanted to make them experience the same.

"Thanks for your warning, you continue to stand behind the shield and learn how to take a head!"

When Ignis, the Leader of the Companions of Fire, finished his formally started words with a sarcastic remark, General Alaben reached for his weapon, but Balbazar next to him stopped him.

"You said they changed a lot in the last five years too, didn't you? I will prove to you that nothing has changed, that the Lands of Light has always been above the Hell Realm!"

Ventus with short hair, strengthening her body with wind energy, was as usual; Solo on her right side and Nympha, the Companion of Water, on her left side were also waiting for the time for the attack to come. While minutes chased each other, Joshua, seeing the activity in the enemy ranks, stood up; along with this movement of his, all his warriors turned towards him.

"Very soon we will face the forces of our arch-enemy. The time we have been waiting for has arrived!"

When the red-haired, large-bodied, and sharp-eyed young man shouted, the Hell Realm warriors roared 'Yes, sir' in unison.

"You all have been molded with blood, pain, and brutality. Some of you might have things you want to prove, but it is strictly forbidden for you to step outside the given order. Today is the day our civilization will once again strike fear into the hearts of the others. May your swords be sharp, your hearts unshakeable!"

"Yes, sir!"

The army was ready, the enemy was ready too, and when the last minute also ended, the weapons on the Death Pass were fired for the first time.

"Activate the protective shields!"

The Hell Realm army was also prepared to protect itself; the energy attacks coming down from the sky were melting on the transparent barrier, but like everyone else, they were also aware that the main goal wasn't to inflict damage. In the short gap that formed, the mages of the Companions of Light had thrown themselves outside and taken action for Joshua's head.

"Hell Realm Army, fall back!"

When the commander-in-chief of the army gave his order, the warriors, along with the mechanical vehicles forming the energy barrier, retreated two hundred steps. As the mages of the four societies came towards them, there were only twelve other people next to Joshua.

"What are they doing?"

"Be careful, keep the distance between you!"

The mages quickly shook off their bewilderment in the face of the unexpected change; they preferred to reorganize by positioning themselves fifty steps away from Joshua, whom they were advancing at full speed to behead.

"You had your eyes fixed on me for days; what happened now that you are shitting your pants in fear? We are thirteen people against two hundred people; if I knew you would be this scared, I would have come before you alone!"

Even though they thought of reorganizing, Joshua had no intention of allowing this. He had chosen his victim and pushed her buttons with his piercing words.

"Ventus, wait!"

The green-haired woman, leader of the Companions of the Wind forces, and the fifty mages under her command darted forward; they had no intention of swallowing these words. Joshua was laughing; even if his enemies weren't aware of it, the Hell King was also waiting for the time he would engage in close contact at least as much as they were, and the battle of the Death Pass, which had been going on with harassing fire for days, had officially begun.
